This place is an absolute SCAM. When booking, I confirmed that there was 7 days cancellation no fees, full refund. Unfortunately we were unable to proceed to Kars and therefore had to cancel. WE ARE STILL WAITING ON A REFUND. Staff when booking send an email for credit card details. Very very poor security on credit card details and no refund in site. Avoid this place at all costs!

Excellent hospitality by Mr. Ahmet during my visit in September 2022. Everything was top notch about this place and special thanks to this gentleman for making my stay memorable and convenient.

After a long trip by sidecar from Spain, we needed some time for rest. Ahmet & his team provided us a lovely time at the hotel being the perfect host.

I stayed at Katerina Sarayı for two nights, that was two weeks ago, it was recommended to me by someone. The hotel is very nice and comfortable, an old Russian style building, comfortable rooms, nice and abundant breakfast, helpful staff, especially Mr. Ahmet who provided details about the area and where to go around Kars, very professional and speaks good English.
the hotel has got an outside tea garden right by the river which is an attraction to many people in town who come and enjoy tea and listen to music.

Very good position, along the river, close to Kars kastle. The hotel is in a very beautiful building on the river, with a great garden. A special mention to the service: in particular Ahmet as helped us a lot with reservation, restaurant, and so on. He always smiles and is more than gentle. it is really a pleasure to have him at the reception.
