Bayır Diamond Hotel & Convention Center

I stayed at this hotel with my wife from 18 to 21 July 2024 . A horrible experience .
First , barring the two persons at Reception , NOBODY among the staff speak English . For a so called 5 star hotel this is a disgrace . Room service is pathetic . It takes several calls to get them to understand what you want , and then several trips to get it right . Breakfast is the same . Nobody speaks English. Can't cook the eggs the way you want it
On Saturday , at 8.00 am the bread was " finished " . After reminding the staff that a 5 star hotel doesn't run out of bread , I got 2 slices of bread after 10 mins . That same day , the scrambled eggs were like cake , cold and miserable .
House keeping , as good as a 2 star . Dirty glasses were left as is . Tea bags , milk powder , water , etc not replenished . Had to call in several times to obtain the necessary --- and then , again , the language problem . For a so called 5 star hotel at least one person in each department should speak English. When I checked in , and got to the room , the telephone didn't work . Had to make 4 trips down to reception to get the things I wanted , and to get the telephone serviceable !!! Yes , the first day ordered a pizza from the menu . Unfortunately, not available. The pizza oven was unserviceable. !!!
On Saturday our tour driver parked the car in front of the main door , because my wife moves with a "walker" because of troublesome knees . It takes her time to move . The "outside " hotel staff sat in the car and drove it out onto the road --- couldn't wait for my wife to arrive there .!! I ticked them off , and they were aggressive . Definitely not "trained" so called 5 star hotel staff .
One thing also I must mention. In the room in front of the desk is a chair on wheels . Try and sit on the chair and it moves on the slippery floor. As a crowning glory my wife had a bad fall from the chair . Practicality!! Not there .
All in all , I can only rate this hotel as no better than a 3 star . Good luck to their future customers

Worst experience.

The cleaning is a disaster, I had to clean the tables and the lamps my self just to feel clean!!!! The bed sheets are OLD
and consumed

They did not put me shampo or cream or any thing! I don’t why they called them self a 5 stars hotel

There is no coffee machine:) so drink water in morning.

The service awful !!! The lady in the reception is not helpful at all!

Most of the staff doesn’t speak English

When i order something it took them hours to bring it!!!!!! I was sick so I asked them to bring me a tissue box!!! They took 1 say to bring it

The only good guy is Cafer ❤️🙏🏻 he is the only one doing his job 😊 Thank u Cafer the second star is just for him

I am staying with a tour group and during dinner, a waiter dressed in a suit, who seemed to be a supervisor, swiftly took away my salad plate right after I finished eating, stacking plates from another table in front of me with a loud 'bang.' Experiencing such treatment at a five-star hotel was shocking and uncomfortable. Also my half finished soup was taken away without confirmation. All the process was very rush feels like they don’t welcome customers to relax and enjoy the dinner.

Air conditioning during the night time was set to warm/hot because of which we had 2 sleepless nights.
We asked for an extra bath towel for our child but the same was never provided.
