Hilton Garden Inn Konya

We have stayed at his hotel for 8 days in Agust of this year, me and my family booked 3 rooms 2 double and one single. We have encountered the worst room service imaginable, rooms were dirty, trash was still in the room, the bed was not made properly, even the toilet was not cleaned at times which was disgusting, and water refill was not made also. I have raised a complaint at the reception but to no avail sadly. The rooms were expensive compared to the bad service and even the staff were dismissive of my comments. The only good thing about this hotel was its location it was close to the city center. I don’t recommend families to have long stays at this hotels at all.

I don’t know if it was the fact that we were three women traveling together, but the service we received at this property was absolutely terrible. For starters, the hotel staff did not help us with our luggage, even though they were helping Turkish speaking guests with their luggage during check-in. In one of the rooms the AC was not working, and the management response was simply to open the window, during an 85F hot day. The guest laundry was broken, and no help came from the staff. The equipments in the gym were broken, and I almost injured myself using it.

Oh, the hotel restaurant is terrible.

For a Hilton property, and a hotel that is 2–3 X more expensive than others in the same area, there is no value for money.

Only silver lining is that it is a short walk from all of the museums and the cultural center to see the whirling dervish performance.

I would avoid staying here, especially for women travelers.
