Reviews
The Resort is very clean and big and you can find everything you need within walking distance.
We would’ve loved to stay longer!
During October I (59 - solo traveller) stayed in the Cllub Resort Atlantic
This "holiday village" is situated on a peninsula between a sandy beach and deep clear water at the rocks. Close to the former fishermen's village Sigack "Atlantis" has everything you need for your holidays.
The room was fine, the garden well-groomed, the employees were always motivated and helpful (even as it was the end of the season) and the original turkey hamam was great. On top the food was delicious
Although I didn't do a lot of trips, the antic ephesus and Izmir are highly recommend to visit.
This hotel has a lot of potential, but it’s not quite an amazing experience staying there. I stayed here for a week with my family and we were sadly disappointed by our stay.
To start off, the rooms are very old and worn down, with a lot of broken furniture, the beds are extremely hard, and the lighting in the room is very poor. We had no hot water in our room when we arrived, and had to ask reception 5 times over the course of two days to send someone solve the issue. They kept saying that someone will eventually be coming but no one came, so we requested to change room. The other one was a bit nicer, being bigger and having a view of the sea.
Also in that first room, we came back the second day around noon, when the cleaning ladies were cleaning our room, to discover that a pair of AirPods that we had hidden in a bag, was not there anymore. We checked its location, and it had been located for the last time 30 minutes before near the laundry of the hotel. We went there, and the AirPods connected, showing they were in the vicinity, although we couldn’t locate them precisely. The cleaning staff were really helpful searching through the bags of towels and sheets, but to no success. The fact that the cleaning ladies were finishing cleaning when we arrived and that the airpods had pinged 30 minutes before that away from our room means that someone had come into our room and had gone through all our stuff, before stealing the AirPods. A few hours later we checked again their location to see them in the closest city, and then to another one to the south, where we have never been. We reported the incident to the reception, who did nothing about it other than saying that we had probably lost them and that they had never heard of things being stolen in rooms. We did however speak to a staff member working at the entrance of the hotel, Yasin, who was kind enough to offer us a drive to the nearest police station to make a report for insurance.
But the story doesn’t end here. As we were checking out on our last day, another customer came to the reception saying that he got money stolen out of his room. So we weren’t the only that it happened to…
Now let’s talk food. The buffet is alright, don’t expect high quality food. The main dishes are nearly identical every day, with only the sauce changing for the most part, and there isn’t a lot of choice when it comes to sides - only rice and potatoes basically. Most of the food cooked in front of you is cold because the place were they put the food at once cooked isn’t heated, especially for the fried eggs and pancakes, eating them cold is not very enjoyable.
Overall the hotel needs to give more informations upon arrival, like a map of the resort, as well as the opening hours of the little restaurants scattered around, so that you don’t find out it’s closed when your in front of it. Signs would also be a good addition, telling the shortest path to take to a certain interest point.
Overall, a hard working and devoted staff, but a management who doesn’t exploit the place’s full potential. Would not be coming back.
Pros:
Three pools to choose from with the saltwater one being the quietest for a couple which worked out for us well. The cove was absolutely beautiful and we loved swimming in the sea with the fishes.
There was always a variety of food and we never went hungry. We would go between the buffet, snack bar, bakery and sandwich bar. I highly recommend booking the Harry Potter restaurant for dinner one evening (we went to the Mexican night which was incredible!). The drinks were also very good in my opinion with alcoholic ones not being watered down.
The staff were so friendly, it felt like they couldn’t do enough for you and always went above expectations. I had a cake organised for my boyfriends birthday which was delivered at dinner to a nice made up table and the cake tasted amazing!
Cons:
The room, it definitely was not overly comfortable and the lighting was awful.
It definitely is more of a family hotel which could be quite overwhelming for us as a couple at times and we felt surrounded by children a lot of the time. However, this was helped by having the salt water pool which was more adults.
The beach was not clean but it does have beautiful views (we only popped down there for an hour the whole trip as we were either at the cove or saltwater pool.
I would say that it is definitely worth what you pay for it and we made memories that will last a lifetime in BEAUTIFUL surroundings.
I wanted to thank the waiter Nuri for the great service. He took care of every detail while eating meals, he noticed what was missing on the table. Always smiling, elegant. Full professionalism. He provided full information about the hotel, which made the stay even more pleasant. I wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Nuri.
Thank you!
See you next year!
Best regards,
Ola
I must say, the whole stay was an unforgettable experience
Upon check-in, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff who made me feel like a valued guest right from the start. Especially ecem from the reception and emrullah were really helpful explaining the whole concept and locations. The check-in process was seamless and efficient, and I was quickly escorted to my beautifully appointed room.
The hotel's amenities were equally impressive.
The dining options at this Hotel were nothing short of exceptional. The on-site restaurant offered a delectable array of international cuisines, each dish expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The attentive staff took great care in ensuring that every meal was a memorable experience.
What truly sets Atlantis Hotel apart, however, is its impeccable service. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to ensure my stay was flawless. From the concierge who provided valuable recommendations for local attractions to the housekeeping staff who meticulously maintained my room, the level of professionalism and attentiveness was unparalleled.
