The food was absolutely delicious with a wide variety to choose from every day. The staff were always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with a smile. We were especially impressed with the care and professionalism of our personal assistants, who made sure every detail of our stay was perfect.
Thank you to the entire Rixos team for making our vacation so memorable. We’re already looking forward to coming back!
(2) the kids club program schedule shown at the entrance never actualized, it’s basically misleading.
(3) although we stayed in the highest room category, grand executive room, shower was full with black mold. I saw it while taking a shower, they immediately changed our room. But it was basically a loss of 1 evening of holiday for us -repacking, waiting for a new room, unpacking again. Could not even have dinner. (4) in the new room, the whole night we listened to the wood bugs (living inside tables). Humidity problem.
It’s a nice place, we have been a bit unlucky this time.
Great service, location and standard of room. However poor quality of food offering in the buffet restaurant and people’s restaurant. Limited choice of food and most of it was served cold. The Italian al a carte option was considerably better. The hotel had one white, red and rose wine option and sadly the white and rose wine were always served warm.
you will need a taxi or car to go into Bodrum . Not a walkable distance or anything to walk to near the hotel and it’s off a busy highway . Taxi to Bodrum is not expensive though and approx 15 mins away . Reception can get taxis easily . There is plenty of food choices for the main restaurant which is set up like all inclusive buffets are which will give enough variety if not a long stay . They will cook you fish or steak to order at the grill section which is very good . The other restaurants onsite if they are open you need to pay extra for . The hotel is set over a large well kept lush grounds which are very hilly up and down and some rooms are further away from the main hotel . Complimentary buggy’s are regularly available but if mobility issues be mindful of the layout and best room locations . A very pleasant hotel option though for the outskirts of Bodrum and for those with children seems to be a nice kids club onsite .
The staff were also very friendly and helpful!
One suggestion for improvement would be to add an adults-only section in the main restaurant. During our stay, there were many young children, which sometimes resulted in significant noise disturbances during meals.
All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and we would love to come back!
The food quality was top-notch—one of the best we’ve experienced so far! The main restaurant featured a wide variety of options, and People’s Restaurant delighted us with delicious pides and Turkish specialties for lunch. We were also impressed by the cocktails in the lobby, which were probably the best we’ve ever tasted, and the Godiva bar was a treat with delightful cakes and chocolates. Additionally, the animation team provided ample sports activities, adding a fun and lively atmosphere during the day.
The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. We’d love to return, and we truly had a fantastic experience.
However, one downside to note: while the resort itself was incredible, we found the prices at the shops within the hotel to be unreasonably high. For example, a plastic cigarette lighter that costs around 1 Euro for three elsewhere was being sold for 5 Euros each. The barbershop was asking for 45 Euros for a beard trim, a service we usually pay 9 Euros for in Germany. Additionally, renting a paddleboard was priced at 30 Euros per hour, which felt excessive. While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we recommend venturing outside the resort if you need any of these services or goods.
All in all, Rixos Premium Bodrum is a wonderful place to stay, and we hope to return!
Situation: A friend of mine came to the lobby to talk, without ordering anything or using hotel services. The staff kept telling us he could only stay for 30 minutes, and after that, we would have to pay 400 euros! For what? For simply wanting to talk to someone in the lobby of the hotel I’m staying at, without ordering anything? This is disrespectful to me as a guest. I’ve paid for the hotel, and yet, they’re rushing me and telling me to finish the conversation quickly.
There’s also constant noise from music in the lobby from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM, which disturbs children from sleeping.
Our only disappointment was that the A-la-carte restaurants' were all closed expect the Italian. Considering the hotel was full it was disappointing that they saw September as end of season. Disappointing as this was one of the reasons we chose the hotel.
Otherwise the hotel was beautiful and public areas immaculate. The staff were all lovely especially the ladies in the Turquoise restaurant.
The one negative about the hotel were the other guests who were extremely rude and demanding. Seeing how they treated the staff (especially the ladies) was very upsetting to see. They seemed to think they were above everyone and even had to call staff to put towels down on the bed for them. Lazy & Rude.
Additional safety points would be for Rixos to pay some attention to the steps around the resort & leading to the room. They are uneven with no hand rails. The rails in the stairwells of the rooms are loose and dirty. This could do with some attention.
Otherwise fab resort and holiday.
