This place is so much more than a beautiful hotel. Beyond the gym and the spa and the pool is another world of gardens and farms and a coffee plantation, and the fascinating Sanaa workshop where many disabled artisans turn out beautiful craft items. The rooftop restaurant has good food and magnificent views. I highly recommend it all.

Great place! I had the pleasure of spending time in the restaurant. There is a view of Mount Meru from there. Amazing view and all this with delicious food, especially delicious cakes. To be able to enter the terrace, it is enough to be a restaurant guest (I did not make a reservation). The prices are affordable and the experience is worth it :)

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel in the heart of Arusha. There’s not much to do surrounding the hotel if you are looking to walk, but the grounds themselves are fun to explore and you can see beautiful gardens and even a chicken coop on the property. Beautiful is an understatement. This place is breathtaking. Exquisite food tastes and scenery. I had chicken pizza and meat balls with guacamole …oh the meatballs are to die for😋😋😋. You guys are doing a great job. You will always be my favourite hotel.😍

To be honest the hotel is huge and beautiful. I would love to share my personal experience. The hotel is most beautiful thing I have ever seen before. Security is 100 percent guaranteed. The services offered are extremely extraordinary. The food is great. For swimmers, the swimming pool is amazing. I would definitely recommend you to plan and visit Gran Melia hotel as I promise you won't regret.

Beautiful colonial-style hotel in a wonderful estate full of trees, plants and flowers, with delicious breakfast and lunch/dinner, excellent massage services, ideal for a couple of days to recover from the Kilimanjaro hike. We really enjoyed the jogging track.

The property is a great place to rest and relax - especially if you're going out to a game drive. The grounds were beautifully maintained.

It is a nice Serena property nearby a famous Tengeru farmers market. Not far from the Kilimanjaro airport,ideal for people flying in and out of Kilimanjaro airport.

This hotel used to be one of the most visited and loved by many. But during this crisis, they going through it has become empty.

Decent hotel! Location is great. Easily accessible. The doors are huge to enable easy passage of wheelchairs. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful always. There is a swimming pool area within the hotel. The reception area is beautifully designed with a lot of paintings and sculptures that are spread around the hotel. We stayed here for lunch! Was realy tasty! The waiter were very polite! I forgot my bag and they brought it to me, when I just entered my car. Very honest. Thank you!!! Good value for money!!

Good hotel with average rated services the best attraction is Indian Restaurant. Rooms are average but look old fashioned. 9am-9pm Spy and Massage by Lotus Spa. Big size swimming pool however u need courage to dive in as climate of arusha is just too cold even in summer.

Nice place, nice rooms, friendly personnel. In the room there were the following issues: shower head holder was broken, bathroom basin lighting didn't work, air conditioner provided a bit cooler air, but surely not AC. Breakfast was really modest with over boiled egg, simple omelet and instant coffee (it's just what I had).

A great place but kinda little pricey compared to the services offered. There should be some power outlets outside, it will be a very great place to work outside. Sometimes you have to stop or call the waiters passing around otherwise you may wait a little longer than you planned.

We came here after another hotel of the town overbooked our rooms. Nice place, clean and quiet. Rooms are a little small but confortable.

The best Hotel on this Makao Mapya / Levolosi area. Available parking space, WiFi Internet and decent rooms. Amazing restaurant too.

Good hotel with clean and cozy rooms for spending one night before or after saffari, just there is a little noise of street during daytime in your room. The breakfast was good but not especial and there were no buffet for breakfast there, but you could have fruits, eggs or jam and coffee or tea as your order. The reception is very friendly and respectful ,you will receive good service there.

Located in busy area, structure looked incomplete above the 2nd Floor! Rooms are spacious but some furniture and fittings needed repair. Staff are friendly but slow. Breakfast and meals were ordinary.

Must have been a beautiful place in it's time. However now, it's lost it's lustre. Old fixtures, musty odor (We had to ask to change rooms because the assigned room smelled of mold). A fairly nice hotel. Very close to the Arusha CBD. I loved the breakfast here. A bit disappointed with bar service and TV channels in the rooms. Couldn't watch soccer in the room. You need to improve on this. Otherwise I'll come back.

It's a big fun area with different options of services and entertainment looks nice and cozy and all that but the disappointing part for us during our visit there last week was we went to the restaurant and everything we wanted to order from the menu was not available in the kitchen (that's what the waitresses told us) So we were given the option of going with what was only available in their kitchen...

Looks lovely, and the location is nice and quiet , the staff are really warm and welcoming, but, lodge itself needs allot of improvements for the price packages they offer. We booked nearly all the rooms, and many rooms had no running water, we had no card keys to the rooms, and since the doors are card locked, we had to share one key and you end up leaving your door open if you had to move around...

Very comfortable and clean rooms, quite and peaceful location that is close enough to town. WiFi is a bit poor, so maybe not the best place if trying to get some work done. Breakfast was okay, lunch/meals were fine at an average price.

I have visited this place several times now. -They have the best food oooh their food are just so delicious. -The rooms also are in a good condition Except there is no dustbin in the room and the shower curtain don't keep water from going to toilet area its tricky someone can fall in the bathroom. Although it's a best place to hold your events they have good gardens and best catering.

A really nice space, close to town but it doesn't feel that way, a nice view of the city taxi park. The room services was good which included laundry, an elevator 🛗 and so much more. I would rate it 8.

Overall convenient location, because it's right next to the bus stand. 40k single, 50k double, 60k twin are reasonable prices too. WiFi speed is average. Basics like toothbrushes and toothpaste are provided. Food at the restaurant is also good, but little variety. However, we didn't have hot water in spite of asking twice and even though they promised we would have some, and service can be a bit slow...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 weeks and it was great! The room is cozy and the shower is great: strong pressure and plenty of hot water. The hotel restaurant has great food for great prices as well, we’ve had just about every available menu item. The staff is all very nice and the manager continuously went out of his way to help us on many occasions. He helped us buy medicine at a nearby pharmacy...

The hotel is situated very close to the central bus stand with affordable prices. They offer nice dishes and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
