Qambani Luxury Resort

We absolutely loved our stay in Qambani. Our Villa was splendid, the overall space just amazing: a dream. A big thank to Meaza for her kindness and for having taking great care of us. We will definitely come back and recommend to everyone wishing to visit Zanzibar.

Employees are super nice. Massage therapist was perfect.

The food options was limited. For 2 people same starter and same desert is offered.

Was the only hotel in Tanzania, didn’t offer any wine & prosecco for honeymooners. 😃

Spending the last days of our honeymoon here. Incredible place with excellent rooms and facilities. The staff is super nice, helpful and professional. After being in several other accomodations before Qambani, this is by far the best we have stayed in in Tanzania. I honestly cannot see what they could improve

I stayed in this piece of paradise a few times with my family and every time we loved it more and more. This time we had the chance to experience the new part of the property, two amazing new villas with private pools. By far the most elegant property in Zanzibar.

Absolutely loved our stay in Qambani. Its a very exclusive experience and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was luxurious. They offered extra vegetarian meal options which I could customize. Service, property and pool is exceptional! Highly recommend for an intimate experience to unwind. We stayed here for our honeymoon and had a ball!

My girlfriends and I stayed there for a couple days towards the end of our Tanzanian trip and we couldn’t have been more happier. The property itself is stunning, combined with the attention to detail and care by the staff which makes it such a delight! The food was delicious and the ambiance was perfect for relaxation. Hope to be back with the family sometime in the near future.

My family and I stayed here shortly before the pandemic and had a wonderful time. As other reviews mentioned, it's truly hard to put in words how incredible this resort is. So tranquil and peaceful while providing the 5-star luxury and service in this remote and beautiful location. I have stayed in many luxurious resorts throughout Asia and other parts of the world. No one compares to Qambani! Two and half years later my parents still bring up our wonderful experience in Qambani all the time. If you are spending time in Zanzibar, look no further!

We spent 6 days of our honeymoon in Qambani in September 2021. It is difficult to put in words how fantastic our stay was, by far on top of our lists of experiences we had around the world!

Imagine building the dream holiday home for your family without the (financial) need to cut corners on the important things. This place feels like your own luxury holiday resort, except there is a kind, trained staff and no headache of maintaining the place.

Top things are:
- By far the best food we had on Zanzibar, with exciting variety. No costs cut. Food is personalised for you and there are no strict eating times -- each guest is served individually and at the choosing from a number of locations.
- The overall built quality and architecture is top of the notch (we were convinced there would be a feature piece on it on ArchDaily). The infinity pool's design is perfect. Beautiful both day and night, has sunny as well as shadow area with pool bar.
- The fact that you are in the middle of the woods and thereby come in touch with nature. We saw: Elephant Shrew (usually rarely seen!), a Yellow Weaver family (likes to indulge in bathing rituals in the corner of the pool), a very friendly monkey.
- Maite, the manager is both super friendly and very helpful and manages the place excellently. So is the rest of the staff, they are kind without being in your face.
- The main lounge area feels very cosy
- Rooms: very clean, fully equipped. External shower and sea view were top.

Beach:
- Easy access to shore with kayak, reef shoes available
- Beautiful, untouched beach (not a lot of hotels nearby). It is not fully sandy but has interesting rocky elements
- However, you can walk 2-3min to the right and take a swim in high tide. Tides change a lot so sometimes hight tides can be up to stomach, sometimes up to knees.
- We only knew at the end of the stay that there is a party place if you walk left down the beach about 25min, which is definitely worth checking out (Kae beach)! It's on the otherside of Machamwi so there is no noise coming over.
