I paid for a beach view for my nieces to stay at Pearl Beach resort. On arrival they were placed on a room far away from the beach. After they informed the resort that wasn't the room i booked, they were moved to a suitable room. We had a great stay at Zawadi for our honeymoon. After a few days of safari, it was the perfect way to unwind and relax. We only went to eat in the restaurant and it was fantastic! In addition to the very nice place, we ate very well! 2 giant lobsters with chips and vegetables at a more than fair price! Furthermore, the staff was very kind and welcomed us, making us feel at home surrounded by friends!

Michamvi Beach house is something truly special! You get treated like family and we just did not want to leave, so much so that we extended our stay there for an additional 4 days 😉 the most incredible view to wake up to as the sun rises, and just all-in-all the most perfect place to relax, unwind, eat, drink.... and fish! They where always willing to speak with us and told us a lot, about zanzibar and few more things and our confidence was always important for them. Lovely time at a beautifully located lodge. Rooms are spacious but basic. No AC in case that's what you're looking for. The web site has 5 stars at the top but this is not a 5 star lodge, more like 3 star so be aware of that. Nice pool area. Very low tide so not many hours to swim in the sea unless you walk far. Sunset is on the other side in case you are looking for a tropical sunset.

A great resort for a holiday vacation. The quiet beach is truly a gorgeous sight and all the amenities (WiFi, pool, gym, beach bar, breakfast/lunch/dinner) are really quite excellent compared to other hotels during my stay in Tanzania.

This place is really beautiful. We spent 4 nights in December 2016 and we really want to go back. Peace, good food, nice staff, good service, quiet... you just listen te sea which is amazing. When you open the door of your bungalow you see the beach and that turquesa sea which is beautiful. I really recommend that place if you want to rest, read a book, do snorkeling or just relax on the beach

Good place to stay at with very friendly staff, good food and an amazing private beach. However, the place is 11 years old and it would be wise to invest in a general refurbishment. Bungalows are partly really nice with a present patina. No AC which needs some time to get used to, particularly during nights when sleeping.

Located off the beaten track in Michamvi. Knocking off 1 star for the wifi quality and the fact that the rain leaked into the room where I was staying. Rooms are Old fashioned cottages which are quite charming. Good breakfast included in the booking price.
