I paid for a beach view for my nieces to stay at Pearl Beach resort. On arrival they were placed on a room far away from the beach. After they informed the resort that wasn't the room i booked, they were moved to a suitable room. Lovely time at a beautifully located lodge. Rooms are spacious but basic. No AC in case that's what you're looking for. The web site has 5 stars at the top but this is not a 5 star lodge, more like 3 star so be aware of that. Nice pool area. Very low tide so not many hours to swim in the sea unless you walk far. Sunset is on the other side in case you are looking for a tropical sunset.

This place is really beautiful. We spent 4 nights in December 2016 and we really want to go back. Peace, good food, nice staff, good service, quiet... you just listen te sea which is amazing. When you open the door of your bungalow you see the beach and that turquesa sea which is beautiful. Great resort. Amazing team. The reason it's a 4 and not a five is because of the same breakfast menu everyday and the beach which is not great to swim in because of the mud like sand in the water. Lunch and Dinner on the other hand are great. Amazing SPA as well

Wonderful place. Amazing interior design in the entrance that creates a lovely spirit. We had a very nice stay. Swimable beach, nice breakfast and friendly staff. The only drawback was that the water cut for a short time every once in a while.

Mid sized nice hotel directly on the beach 🏖 Hotel rooms fully equipped including hairdryer and bath cosmetics. Very nice stuff always willing to help. Good restaurant in the hotel with local as well as international cuisine. Reasonable prices. Uroa is quiet place in comparison with other places in Zanzibar so it can be good for family vacation or for people who don't need night life every day.

Amazing beach Location, standard rooms but good for the price because it has AC ?, not much to do around. The food in the restaurant though wasn't nice.

7 days of peace. Moonshine has all important amenities for our use. Mohamed well advised on excursions which we enjoyed. Laid back and relaxing. Thank you to the management. Maybe not 4 star but budget friendly and helpful staff.

Great stay, family friendly The place was great to stay at. The food was good, and the service was very good. the room was not air conditioned and was very hot. The windows did not have fly screens so we weren't able to leave them open which would have helped. The beds did have mosquito nets, but again we couldn't leave the room windows open.

We had a very great time there. The staff were very friendly and kind. The swimming pool was very great. There's a play area to play, also a kids play area. The rooms were spacious and clean. Overall I would give this place 10/10.

I had liked this place from the time i saw the photo on website, and fell in love with it once i reached there. This is a luxury resort with spacious room, lovely bathroom with all amenities. They have lovely pool overlooking Indian Ocean, and play area for kids; restaurant is also good.... away from the crowd...Great place to unwind!

It’s a beautiful place to have a vacay. Right at the beach. The rooms are very spacious and quite comfortable. They have these room that are big enough for families or bigger groups. Not so close to the city but that’s how all resorts are in Zanzibar. The food is also mostly good, try their seafood platter.

Great atmosphere. We were there Oct and because of the tide the sea is not great, some rocks in it and lots of seaweed. Pool and view is lovely. A bit windy. Staff is very kind, food is good and prices are good. Visit even if just to have food. Nothing to do or go around. Plan this as staying around the pool, eating in and doing nothing.
