Breakfast was great. Even though we were there at almost closing time for breakfast, the food was still hot and accessible and the servers were still friendly and helpful.

Been here a few times and it's always been good. The rooms are large, and are always clean and tidy. The breakfast is a step up from your traditional continental breakfast at other hotels. My only complaint is the lack of parking space in the front of the hotel. Most of the parking is in the back and it's a long walk around!

The ladies at the front desk were amazing. I was crying because we had nowhere to live. We had just been exited from a women's shelter(because I defended my child when a woman attacked her) These 2 women showed such compassion. This is an older inn, but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality they have maintained. Despite being right off I20, it is amazingly quiet. Very convenient to restaurants, shopping and fuel stops. The Whitten Inn is extremely clean, the staff members are genuinely friendly and helpful, and the beds are soooo comfortable! We are moving across country with our three cats and no this isn't a 4 star hotel but what it is, is a clean and quiet place to sleep. As a travel advisor and corporate meeting planner, I stay in MANY hotels. As with every single one, there are pros and cons to each stay. There con: no pool. The pros: Attention to detail and service with everyone was wonderfully obvious. Get the extra breakfast upgrade with your room; it's well worth it! Very clean.

I have stayed in many hotels in West Texas and this one is quite nice most are filthy and run down from all of the oil workers. This one was very clean, very modern with very nice staff. Room was clean, bed was super comfortable. Rates were pretty good, you always pay top dollar in this part of the state. Lots of eating options close by and plenty of parking.

The staff is very accommodating! The restaurant is really good so we ordered in a couple of days. It’s in a good area and I felt very safe as it is a Hilton hotel. We will be repeating our visits as our daughter is in college in Abilene. Great town too.

I was here last week on business from New Jersey. Best stay I've experienced in quite some time. The staff was very accommodating. The room was everything that I had expected to be, fresh sheets and pillows. The best part was that it was so quiet.. No ruckus or anything, just peaceful relaxation and sleep.. Room exceeded our expectations. It was big, clean and modern. We were happy because it was equipped with the microwave oven and refrigerator. Bed was very comfortable. Although I ended up getting booked here instead of the other one (Normally stay). I was pleasantly impressed with this establishment. Very very quiet staff was professional and friendly. The front desk lady was very nice. This was one of the nicer Motel 6s I've been to. They can accommodate 18 wheelers in rear parking. Room was clean, few amenities. No coffee, shampoo, kleenex, etc. Pretty much just soap, towels and plastic cups. The staff is wonderful. This is the only place I stay when ever I visit my brother in Abilene. I was traveling and decided to wash my clothes. I didn't know that the dryer was broken and my clothes were all wet. The staff helped me dry my clothes and I am so grateful that they went beyond what was expected. Was disappointed in a couple features during my stay at this Hampton. However, after providing feedback, the manager called me and talked through all of it with me. He assures me they'll make changes and urged me to let them know next time so they can make adjustments quickly (change rooms). Front desk was super friendly but the rooms need a serious upgrade and cleaning. First, it's loud. We were in the road side and you could hear every vehicle that drove past. I give this five stars for customer service. The hotel is not a five star resort so don’t book expecting that. This hotel is far more than enough for a family or individuals on a budget. The pool is in immaculate condition. The property as a whole is kept up and taken great care of. The rooms are a bit dated but not falling apart. Pet friendly is always a bonus for traveling with fur babies.

Quiet, clean, professional staff. There were not enough plugs in the room and the included breakfast left something to be desired compared to other 3-star hotels. Overall a very nice place to stay in Abilene.

My wife, two kids and I spent 4 nights at this hotel. Stay was pleasant. The motel building is older, but during our stay there were several workers painting, and repairing some areas of the motel. Our room was comfortable and clean. The mattresses were comfortable. Room was cool when we arrived, very nice as it was into the 90s in the middle of the day. Pool was clean and the kids enjoyed playing...
