This hotel was fantastic! Beautiful and clean rooms. Customer service manager was so nice and helpful, as was the gentleman who checked us in. The pool is huge and my kids and their friend had a great time swimming. Great location, close to both malls, but set back from the main road. Would definitely return!

Excellent all around. There was a social hour with a take out theme and salad bar and beer/wine for guests the one night. Full breakfast and it was amazing. Staff was courteous and helpful when needed. Amenities were great as well. We will stay here again in the future!

I don't normally leave hotel reviews, but I've had multiple positive stays here. First, the front desk staff has been very friendly and professional. The staff were polite and very engaging. I stayed in the one bedroom suite which was beautiful and roomy. I brought my two dogs with me which turned out well. The dog area outside was huge and had plenty of room for them to run. The breakfast was tasty and the hotel was very clean. The only issue that I had was that the tub drainage was not good. Casey is the best! We had an issue with our room and Casey pulled out all the stops to remedy the situation. In the end we had an awesome stay—comfortable beds, excellent coffee, quiet…we even walked to Trader Joe’s right across the parking lot. We’ll definitely stay here again.

The room was very clean and the staff was friendly. After a long day of travelling I was excited to learn they had a complimentary dinner served with beer & wine. Would definitely recommend it!

There were mattresses in the stairwell when I visited.. and a whole lot of seedy people outside (I'm guessing due to the motels in the general vicinity). However, the rooms are quite decent and the beds are very comfortable. Minus the maintenance of the area around it, it's a good 2/3 star hotel and the best one that you'll find in this area without having to break bank.

Free internet speed is super fast. Good location to the I-90 & I-87 (Thruway).Very reasonably priced. Close enough to Albany and plenty of shopping nearby. Close to the highway

Decent at best. I've always been in the tall interior building that's the "upscale" rooms which are clean & comfy. The rooms to the exterior building are motel rooms with the bare minimum meaning very cheap bed furniture paint etc. You get what you pay for and the staff are nice or rude equally upon each other. Our rooms were comfy and clean. The beds comfy as well. We stayed in 112 the one night, checked out and had to rent a room again so stayed in 110 second night. Had no problems with either room and we were quite comfortable. Would have five star'd but the washer and dryer were unusable in the vending room. The washer was full of mucky old water. Our rooms though were great. Look forward to staying again

This place is disgusting. I booked it on booking.com and it had a 7.7 rating....get there, I was appalled. We paid for a King, got two full size beds, the staff was horribly rude...never again.

Great room, great custom service, accidently left something expansive in the room and no one stole it. Only problem was the rub was cheap and the drain wouldn't open. Free pet stay

The people were very helpful and friendly. The beds were clean and comfy and the bathroom was clean. The floors were a bit dusty but fine. Overall it was nothing fancy, but fine.

Rooms were clean. Great location right by restaurants and Colonie Center Mall. Didn't find it noisy at all, seemed nice and quiet. Good air conditioning and comfortable bed. Price is so low that I always make this the place to stay around here.

This Red Roof is not bad. We have been to much worse. One aspect is the staff at this location are very friendly and helpful so kudos to whoever hired them as they have a good sense for that. There is plenty of places to eat at within walking distance from the hotel and Colonie Center (mall) is just a 5 minute drive. They have redone the rooms here which is very nice. The only downside is at the bathroom is of the teenie kind from the 1970s. If you can put up with that the price is terrific. And the location just outside of Downtown Albany is quite convenient. Within a half a mile either way you have dozens of choices of places to eat which is great.

I’m a Wyndham diamond club member. I could not get a room in a Wyndham hotel in a 30 mile distance over the weekend, so I ended up booking a room at this Home2 Suites by Hilton & I had an AWESOME A+ stay! We had never been to Home before ..when we checked in we were met by the desk clerk who introduced himself as Khan. He was very polite and hospitable! We had our dog with us and he made it real convenient for us to get him in and out of hotel by placing us on first floor. He also said as we were heading to our room Please let me know if you need anything.. Good customer service is hard to come by....

This is my second time at Home2 Suites in Albany. Last February was a dream compared to this time. I am a Diamond Hilton Honors member. I was not treated like one. Not the right level of accommodation. No silverware and two glassware in room, and when asked for some, I was told "room comes as is"!! I was offered plastic silverware. I had to go out of my room to ask housekeeping for extra towels....

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Very upscale and elegant. The beds are comfortable and the decor is amazing. Only negative thing is that the bed sits in a box. You would think that the box would be padded. You hit you extremities on the box when trying to exit the bed and that thing hurts.

Location wise it was good. Price was perfect and I loved that it was pet friendly. The tub did not work just the shower worked. The bathroom was clean while the room it self was not the cleanest the carpet was stained and the employees were very friendly and pleasant.

Satisfied with the rooms compared to how they looked before. New Owner New rooms getting better and better. A place for me to stay for sure for a good price every time I come to Albany.
