Sheraton Kona Resort and Spa, Aloha Kona1 / 50
Sheraton Kona Resort and Spa
Aloha Kona, 78-128 Ehukai Street 🧭 Map
Hotel has mold issues, decor/rooms are dated. The grout needed a good cleaning, the shower decorative rings we're falling off. Beds were not terribly comfortable. If you have lergies to cats, they have strays that hang out by/in Ray's (restaurant). The location was nice, might do in a pinch if you get a room without mold spots. Being on an old lava flow was pretty interesting. Seemed to be far from...
The resort was very nice. It felt open and airy with beautiful ocean views. The courtyard area featured a sprawling pool with a walk-over bridge and a waterfall. The pool extended to the exterior where there was a sizable water slide. The room and bed we're comfortable, though the bathroom lacked any charm whatsoever. Overall, I was pleased with the stay.
On the first night of our stay, we were surprised to see that we only had one king-sized bed in our room. We are a family of four so that was simply not enough. We called the front desk, asking for a different room, but they said that they did not have any available rooms. This I do not believe because Sheraton Kona is a huge resort with several floors and wings. Even though it was not their fault...
Second time at the Sheraton and probably not our last. The rooms are comfortable, with nice beds/linens, small fridge, and balcony. The A/C worked almost too well. The rooms are a bit dated with some signs of wear and tear, but I didn't come to Hawaii to spend my time in a hotel room. The pool is great, especially if you have kids. The hotel grounds are beautiful and the ability to check out basketballs...
Be prepared for a $30/day +tax “resort fee” that includes a lot of amenities you will not use. The WiFi was incredibly spotty- rendering it almost unusable. No room service. They used to have it- but not anymore. All the services were average/poor in my opinion for a “4 star” hotel. The room was very nice. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning in the room is very cool- sleeping was...

Breakfast was always a treat. They changed it up on a daily basis, but everything was so fresh and delicious. Definitely one of the highlights of our day!
A short trip from the airport to a beautiful location overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The inn was very comfortable and beautifully designed. Lots of covered but open spaces. Rooms were very comfortable. The property has several walking trails through the different gardens. The hospitality of the staff was outstanding. Downstairs there is a shared enclosed space near the pool which includes a large...
We absolutely loved our stay at the Holualoa Inn! We stayed in the Red Barn for 5 nights - the space was enormous and so secluded and peaceful. The staff (particularly Gabriella!) were so friendly and attentive that we felt right at home the minute we walked in. Breakfast was beautiful and different every day of our stay and the Inn itself has so much history and charm that you can explore for hours...
Absolutely in love with this place. Peaceful, tranquil but close enough to everything and everywhere you'd want to explore. We stayed in the Red Barn, which is HUGE and so private and self-contained with everything you need including its own parking, kitchen, terrace, and lounge. It's like a very large and very beautiful studio apartment. The rest of the property is simply stunning, with breathtaking...
20 yr Anniversary. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast for couples. Beautiful estate with amazing views and really delicious breakfast! It was my first time in the Big Island and everything was so beautiful, glad I picked this place for my stay. Spent some time at the roof top gazebo enjoying the ocean view. We stayed at the Hibiscus Room which has an spectacular view as well. My only regret...
My partner, and friends, love this Inn. The setting is spectacular, set in the middle of a coffee farm, overlooking the ocean. The service from the staff was great. We really enjoyed meeting them. The rooms are beautiful and the public space is charming. You could easily stay on the property the whole time and have a great trip. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and afternoon snacks. We ordered...

Amazing B&B !!! Location, host, room, everything is perfect! Better than a 4 Stars hotel. Breakfast is delicious. Daniel and Robert provide hints and recomendations on what we were planing to do during the day (mostly hiking), on restaurants to go to for dinner. Great memory!
We stayed here for 5 nights. Robert and Daniel were wonderful hosts, giving us local tips on beaches, drives and dining. They offered an amazing 4 course breakie each morning. On the days we had early starts they would pack you a breakfast picnic. There are only 4 rooms, which all have separate living areas from well portioned bedroom and great bathroom with a to die for shower. We didnt want to leave...
Treated like Hawaiian Royalty. Property is Amazing. Owners/Staff so nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. Rooms are great. But the Breakfast is the highlight of my day, to die for. Tasted great and Healthy. Fresh fruits is the best!!! I am planning to come back soon as possible.
Fabulous! It is a beautiful place with warm and hospitable hosts. Cleanliness is fantastic. Location is only 15 minutes from airport and Alii drive. Highly recommended.
It's like paradise! Very clean and beautiful rooms ! You won't go away hungry, the chief "Daniel" suburb, "Robert" , very informative, can direct you to any part of the island. I highly recommend you stay here !!!

Pam is a very nice landlady who does her best to make your stay a good one. Initially I booked a room for comments, especially on breakfast because in the end, to sleep, we spend little time in the rented accommodation. There was a last minute change then we ended up in a wooden chalet located on the property, cottage with 2 rooms with an open kitchen area. We had won in place, but lost at the change...
Pamela took such great care of us! The room was nice and was comfortable, and it was very peaceful and relaxing there. She was fun to talk to, and she does a great job with breakfast. Next time I go to Hawaii, I will be calling her again.

Great place at an affordable price! Very helpful with any questions. Best vacation we ever had. Wish we had ac but it really wasn't bad with a fan on.
I would give coconut hale 6-stars if I could. There were some complications with our flight which forced us to have an unexpected additional night on the island. All hotels were either full or extremely unhelpful. The staff at coconut hale stayed up to coordinate with us through the night and went out of their way to make sure we had a roof over our heads. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with...
The second time around at this property. Back by the end of last year we had the cozy ground floor unit: Nice size bedroom, good size living room with the right furniture and a small kitchen, enough for breakfast and night snacks, though (otherwise known as the perfect size for a week in Hawaii). This time we took the surprisingly unavailable online top floor. It’s a large spacious and nicely decorated...
This bed and breakfast is one of the cutest I have been to. The rooms are cozy and welcoming. The staff were polite and very helpful. Will be going back as soon as possible!
Very friendly and accommodating to last-minute reservations. Nice rooms at affordable prices. Definitely preferred to your usual hotel. And it's at a nice cool mauka location as opposed to the hot muggy downtown.

This was the best part of our honeymoon. We stayed in the Oceanview room, which did actually have a perfect oceanview. You can hear the ocean in the night, which is probably the most relaxing thing one can hear when living in a big and crowded city like we do. We also liked the fact that the room was not super air conditioned, as it usually is in the US (we had to wear our jackets when going to the...
Rustic and authentic accommodations with the trappings of modern comfort. The sound (and view) of the ocean gives a different sort of lullaby that you will be hard pressed to find elsewhere. Owner is helpful and very hospitable. Will recommend to friends as an excellent place to stay in Kona, Big island l.
This place is great!! Gigi is the caretaker, manager and is a sweetheart. She loves to engage with her guests and is quite helpful if you need the local lay for good food or spots to see. They have everything you need. Beach chairs, snorkel gear, paddle boards, surf boards all at no charge. Rooms have a small refrigerator, toaster and microwave. There is ancovered outdoor kitchen with a everything...
Located within walking distance of a public beach which has some of the best snorkeling that my wife and I have found on the island. The retreat has snorkeling gear, boogy boards, surf boards and beach equipment at your disposal. The owner, Gigi, is very accommodating to new island travelers. She has great recommendations and is here to make sure your stay is exceptional. My wife and I were happy with...
We had a great stay here. Gigi was a wonderful host and went above and beyond to make our time enjoyable. Our Ocean view apartment was well appointed. The location was convenient as it was very close to the beach. It's a great snorkeling spot and we saw many turtles!
Great place. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Parking situation is a little weird but that's the only downside. Would highly recommend

Very nice condo. Best we ever stayed in. I were able to afford and stay at beautiful place. A 3 bedroom, 3 bath, 1 car garage, full kitchen, washer and dryer, and lots of small appliances. Very nicely decorated and has additional parking throughout the property. A full size pool, hot tub, and small fitness center. And it is gated with access via a key pad. Last but not least, you’ll get spectacular...
Have been working as a property manager for a few properties in this community. Honestly working with Charlie (Na Hale O Keauhou Manager) has been such a pleasure and this is one of my favorite communities by far! The community is always well taken care of and in tip top shape!
This is a pleasant condo development with a pool and exercise clubhouse, overlooking the shore road at Keauhou. Walking distance to the KTA shopping center and Kahalu'u Beach snorkeling, as well as the Sheraton for manta Ray watching and kayaking.
Great place for residents or vacation homes. Easy access gated community. Amazing pool area with Jacuzzi, gym, and grill and kitchen area.
