Hotel has mold issues, decor/rooms are dated. The grout needed a good cleaning, the shower decorative rings we're falling off. Beds were not terribly comfortable. The resort was very nice. It felt open and airy with beautiful ocean views. The courtyard area featured a sprawling pool with a walk-over bridge and a waterfall. The pool extended to the exterior where there was a sizable water slide. The room and bed we're comfortable, though the bathroom lacked any charm whatsoever. Overall, I was pleased with the stay.

On the first night of our stay, we were surprised to see that we only had one king-sized bed in our room. We are a family of four so that was simply not enough. We called the front desk, asking for a different room, but they said that they did not have any available rooms. This I do not believe because Sheraton Kona is a huge resort with several floors and wings. Even though it was not their fault...

We absolutely loved our stay at the Holualoa Inn! We stayed in the Red Barn for 5 nights - the space was enormous and so secluded and peaceful. Amazing B&B !!! Location, host, room, everything is perfect! Better than a 4 Stars hotel. Breakfast is delicious. Daniel and Robert provide hints and recomendations on what we were planing to do during the day (mostly hiking), on restaurants to go to for dinner. Great memory!

We stayed here for 5 nights. Robert and Daniel were wonderful hosts, giving us local tips on beaches, drives and dining. They offered an amazing 4 course breakie each morning. Pam is a very nice landlady who does her best to make your stay a good one. Initially I booked a room for comments, especially on breakfast because in the end, to sleep, we spend little time in the rented accommodation. There was a last minute change then we ended up in a wooden chalet located on the property, cottage with 2 rooms with an open kitchen area. We had won in place, but lost at the change...

I would give coconut hale 6-stars if I could. There were some complications with our flight which forced us to have an unexpected additional night on the island. Have been working as a property manager for a few properties in this community. Honestly working with Charlie (Na Hale O Keauhou Manager) has been such a pleasure and this is one of my favorite communities by far! The community is always well taken care of and in tip top shape!

This is a pleasant condo development with a pool and exercise clubhouse, overlooking the shore road at Keauhou. Walking distance to the KTA shopping center and Kahalu'u Beach snorkeling, as well as the Sheraton for manta Ray watching and kayaking.
