Atlantic Oceanside Hotel & Conference Center

This is beautiful waterfront property just a short distance from Downtown Bar Harbor. All of the rooms in the main building face the water with nice views of Frenchman Bay.
The rooms were comfortable and well appointed and each one has a balcony with a few chairs. They also have conference facilities (which is what we were there for), which worked very well.
The staff to a person was friendly, helpful and professional. Their complementary breakfast featured made-to-order omelets and other items.
And finally, don't discount Mount Desert Island visits in the winter. The Park is open as are enough shops and restaurants for a pleasant stay without having the hoards that descend there in the summer. Plus the rates are right!

We had a wonderful experience room was cozy and comfortable. We were away for my husband’s birthday and they even left a gift for him in our room.Breakfast was good. Will definitely stay again!!

This place is just wow. It is an ideal place to stay in Acadia. Well-appointed rooms with beautiful interiors. The first-floor suit with a patio overlooking the blue waters of the Atlantic was a sight to behold. The sunset was mesmerizing to see from the room patio. The breakfast was awesome with a lot of options. The chef made customized vegan patties for us and it was awesome. Ideal place for a pleasant vacation. Not a place to miss

We stayed for only one night during the off season (late Nov).

Our room was not cleaned, so we had to wait for them to find us another room. The concierge personally went and checked the new room to be sure it was good to go.

The breakfast was topnotch. The staff made sure I knew what food was gluten free and offered additional gf options that were not out at the buffet. They were polite, friendly, and imo, went to extra effort to make sure I had a good breakfast.

The heated indoor pool looked great but we didn't use it - no time. The overall facilities were clean.

If it wasn't for the fact that our first room wasn't clean, I would've given them 5 stars

My wife and I had a belated wedding celebration here as well as staying here ourselves with a block of rooms for our friends/family and had an incredible time!

For the lodging aspect:
We rented the entirety of The Willows as well as ~20 rooms from one of the other hotel buildings. Our rooms was clean and cozy and we didn't hear anything dissimilar from anyone else who was staying on site. The location also was fantastic - overlooking the water and a quick 20 minute walk to downtown Bar Harbor if the weather was nice. The only hiccup was some people had their rooming reservations in the system on the wrong days but the front desk was quick and helpful in sorting out the issues.

For the reception aspect, everything worked flawlessly from the first conversation ~1 year prior to the event to the actual day of the event. Mallory & Cassie were great in helping to ensure that our vision for the day was realized and took so many things off of our plate when we had too many things to do. Lew was also phenomenal in leading the event space and ensuring the event day went off without a hitch. The bartenders and food staff also were professional and nice. The food and drinks at the reception were also so good!

We can't thank everyone enough for making this day so great! Would absolutely recommend hosting any wedding event here.

This was easily one of my best hotel stays ever. The room was spotless, the view of the water was incredible (we stayed in Oceanside). All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The bistro was AMAZING - every item we tried on the menu was absolutely delicious (we had to go back for more than one night to try as much we could). The manager at the bistro was friendly as well as her staff. The breakfast was clean and delicious. The indoor and outdoor pools were clean and warm - I typically think pools are too cold and on a 70 degree day I was in the outdoor pool. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting the Bar Harbor area - I know we’ll be back!

Outstanding! Amazing location and extremely nice employees and pretty good amenities. The customer service and the responsiveness is also great. Nice pool and parking. The hotel also has oceanside views on most parts of the hotel, so it was nice to stay at. Would definitely recommend this. Breakfast was decent but could be better.

Great Hotel with a wonderful view. Staff was very accommodating especially Joshua. We had a large group a needed a bunch of rooms last minute. Joshua was able to move some things around and assist us. Very efficient, helpful and we are appreciative of his help. Breakfast was fresh and much better than other hotels. Thanks for making our stay pleasant.
