Wonder View Inn

Staff is exceptional. Everyone was super kind and friendly. Our puppy was welcomed with a little treat. Very nice. Rooms are somewhat dated but the place is clean and cozy. Indoor heated pool was out favorite part!

Nothing fancy but the views take center stage anyway. The rooms are clean and the beds comfy. The Looking Glass restaurant is a delightful place to unwind for a drink next to the fire pit in the evening or get a great breakfast with amazing views of the harbor in the morning. Also there are dozens of humming birds flying around the garden.

Staff is friendly and understanding. View is nice. Very very close to downtown Bar Harbor with the shuttle stopping at the hotel. Could use some updates, but nothing is broken or ugly. Very big TV in the rooms. Breakfast is alright. Could use a little more variety (mainly cereal, pastries, and bread). Would recommend a stay here for the price.

Good hotel, good amenities. Amazing coffee at the entrance, not sure why I emphasized but feels good for the morning wake up. View is nice from the hotel top, sometimes you get an upgrade and have fun. Yay!

Very much near downtown and harbor. The directory of place and their phone numbers are placed in the room, very helpful in case of emergency. Clean, value for money, no restaurant, only breakfast at the viewing glass with a nice view. Fireplace is good.

The staff was super accommodating giving us additional coffee packets that I requested and allowing us access back into our room after we had left. My travel companion who has a disability needed to access the bathroom. The staff was super gracious. The Looking Glass restaurant which is part of the inn was wonderful with good food, beautiful views and a wonderful staff as well.

Great location! Clean and cozy room. Stayed there for 3 nights and appreciated how close it was to everything. Has full indoor pool, steam room and jacuzzi which you should enjoy if you have the chance during your stay.

Stayed here during our 4 day visit to Acadia National Park. Close proximity to park, which was convenient. Breakfast not included and restaurant there, The Looking Glass, had outdoor seating with a wonderful view but quite pricey for a basic breakfast. ($47 for 2 basic egg/meat/toast meals) Room was clean and nice but bathroom needs an updated sink, tub/shower. Our room had an outside porch area but only a view of overgrown bushes/trees.

I want to start off by saying, I’m extremely picky and a total neat freak with hotels. The room was large, comfy, super clean and updated. I didn’t notice a thing out of place or any “weird hotel smells”. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s a great value and very comfortable. We had a great view of the water and the staff was super kind and helpful.

Pet friendly..have own balcony..some view fresh smell from trees and some water view in distance.. Friendly staffs and clean rooms plus budget friendly...all in one yay

Great little hotel. Not fancy, but a lot of nice touches (and a great TV). Really comfortable bed.
