Super 8 by Wyndham Bend

Normally you would think that Super 8 is a low budget and low quality place to stay. Not in this case. The staff was beyond helpful and friendly. The hotel itself was clean and fresh. The rooms were clean, comfortable and pleasant. What struck me was the smell. Not the overwhelming odor of cleaning chemicals, but the please warm scents of flowers and vanilla throughout the hotel and rooms. With an indoor pool and hot tub, our visit was completed. Next time I'm in Bend Oregon, I will be sure to make my reservations here, and recommend it to all who are looking for a pleasant and inexpensive stay.

Very helpful when we reserved the room. Room was nice and clean. It would get a 5 if the towels were thicker. Also, we like lots of pillows.

The pool was nice, the front desk people were nice, our bathroom was nice/new and clean with good pressure and hot water. Our beds were comfy and clean. Normal cereal/baked goods/toast breakfast available, but not very many spots to sit and can get crowded. Could use carpet cleaning, the wifi worked awful for us and there are no kid channels on the tv lineup (we did bring our Roku but it wouldn't work due to wifi). And our second day there our keys stopped working so I had to carry a dripping wet baby to the desk in my swimsuit to get them fixed...it was quick and easy and the lady was super nice...but still, working keys are nice!

After a long week at a 6 day festival in the middle of Ochoco National Forest, out on Big Summit Prairie, I was covered in dust, dirt and regret. We arrived late evening, around 10pm to a smooth check-in and hopped right in the comfortable shower. After a restful night's sleep, we checked out and forgot our dear friend Marge, my daughter Alyssa's stuffed Manatee. The Super 8 Bend staff was kind enough to send us Marge very quickly and with the accompaniment of this short story about her adventures while we were gone. I can't tell you how much this lit up her face and spirit to not only get Marge back but also have a storybook about her while she was gone. Truly a beautiful team.

Elizabeth is an amazing hotel front desk clerk and so much more! She was very helpful, answered all my questions and made my stay extra comfortable with her hospitality. And the housekeepers do a great job as my room was very clean! In fact, this is the first hotel I've stayed at that actually had clean filters in the air conditioner unit! It's the first thing I always check after entering my room. Awesome job Super 8, keep up the fantastic work! Highly recommend!

Super 8 Bend is the best hotel you can stay at! I travel the world and stay at many hotels but this has been the best stay yet! Everything is clean and in order! The stay was restful and pleasant but what made it special and significant was all of the staff! Everyone was so friendly and loving. Each one of them go above and beyond for the customers. I admire how they all want to serve and their hearts is to care for the others around them.
I want to give a special thanks to: Cristina, Nancy, Ali, Leticia, Thaddeus, Pedro, Loyd, Steward, Elizabeth, Jonathan, Whitney, Vera, Jae, Dawn and Jennifer.

Nancy,Leticia and Cristina - They are so full of love and hospitality. They cooked for us and invited us to have lunch with them 3 times. These woman work so hard and put extra effort in cleaning the rooms.
Whitney- great customer service! She went above and beyond to what we needed. She is attentive to detail and met us right where we are at. It is truly heart-warming to receive great customer service from her.
Vera- enjoyed her company! She has such a beautiful heart.. so full of love. You can see the love she has for others around her. She has a way of understanding people around her. I was so captivated!!! She really helped us so much. If you ever want to talk to someone… she is the woman!
Loyd- Loyd is a good maintenance man! We enjoyed speaking with him and learning many things from him. Very knowledgeable and creative man.

And finally a great thanks to Dawn, the Manager. She is an absolute joy and full of personality! She is also an amazing manager! I can see the love she has for her employees and the way she leads! She is a woman who knows what she is doing. Her leadership is reflected in the way the hotel is run and also through the staff.

All the employees need a raise!

Last minute reservation after a full day of driving. Arrived around 9pm check in was easy, room was clean, and had everything we needed. I didn't catch the gal's name that was running the front desk, but she's awesome and needs a raise pronto. She came in clutch when I had melty ice cream from our cooler and I didn't have a spoon. Plus her furry "coworker" was absolutely adorable!

I have been having an extended stay here at the Super 8 in Bend. In the last few months this place has been getting a wonderful makeover, and I don't just mean the rooms. They have had a complete turnover of staff as well and they are all so friendly and accommodating. The housekeepers are kind, respectful, and always there to help if you need something extra.
Dawn specifically has gone above and beyond her call of duty here. She has cleaned up the riff raff in the parking lot as well as the broken-down cars and trailers behind the building. Not to mention she's just the bees knees!!
I feel much more comfortable about my car in the parking lot and also having my dog outside. The staff here does routine security checks inside and outside the building and the city police also frequent the parking lot doing safety checks. I don't personally have children but I feel like parents can feel safe about bringing their families here. Plus they have an awesome pool and hottub.
They are also updating the parking lot to be more accommodating for truck drivers. Good things take time and it will be exciting to see once everything is finished.
I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY.
