Horseshoe Bossier Casino & Hotel

The hotel room was nice. We got a complimentary upgrade to a suite when we checked-in. All of the staff we talked with were extremely friendly. There is a pizza place that has the best brick oven pizza. The slot machines don't pay out if you are looking to win. We ended up going to another casino to play and won money there. It is a nice hotel but next time I will be staying at a different casino, so I can experience all of them in that area.

Great experience. Had a blast with my wife. Got a room and spent the night enjoying all the amenities they had to offer. From the table games to the video poker. The restaurant that offered a variety of food to quench any appetite. To the comfortable sleeping arrangements and the above and beyond customer service. As for this parishioners opinion five out of five stars. I will be there again......

Very nice rooms and very friendly staff. My only issue was not winning money in the casino, but sometimes that happens. I've stayed here a few times now and it never disappoints. The only thing I'd like to see is a self-service soda station. I'm almost positive there isn't one here. If I missed it by chance I'll update this review. Thanks.

Good casino in Shreveport area. Personable staff, huge rooms, wide opens hallways, beautiful lobby, and some good restaurants. My main issue here is that the 1st floor shops have been “opening” for quite a while. What’s going on with those?? One of our favorite things about the hotel are the tubs (though mine had a horribly clogged drain) and a waiter in the burger restaurant named Addison. He is fantastic! On this trip, my air worked great. Our other two rooms we had booked were hot and muggy. They had different thermostats so that didn’t help. And in my room there was something taped to the curtain top and I could never reach it to see what it was. Little weird the staff has never noticed all the tape up there. Would definitely stay here again, as I always do!

This is a very pretty hotel with lots of fancy decor in the common areas and plenty of parking in the garage. Our room was spacious with a nice view. The beds were comfortable. The room has a refrigerator, safe, microwave, quiet air conditioning and a large bathroom with a big tub. It was clean but not spotless. The front desk clerk that checked me in was not friendly and the lobby smelled very strong like men's cologne the whole night. It seemed intentional but was overly strong. We ate at the restaurant in the main lobby area for dinner and the food was good, but I woke up sick the next morning, so something was definitely off. Overall, we'd definitely stay here again, but book ahead of time or online for the best rates. The front desk won't even honor the AAA rate that's quoted on their own reservation line. They just tell you to call the reservation line if you want that rate. (While standing at the front desk.) Still, with a few little negatives, it is a nice place and when we are in the area we would stay again.
