My wife and I both enjoyed the cozy suite with its artful decor. The bed mattress, appliances, HVAC, TVs, DVD selection all worked well for us! The room was quiet and comfortable. ** Loved the onsite electric car charger! ** The location was easy walking distance to the train station and many restaurants. All told we had a very enjoyable stay!

This was our first time to Bryson City and when we come back we will absolutely stay here. It was so clean! They had complimentary essential groceries which was a huge plus with little ones. It was within walking distance from the train station and downtown. Very nice people, highly recommend.

Wonderful owners and very willing to help you out with anything you need. Rooms are set up like a 1 bedroom apartment with all the supplies you could possibly need. They are pretty clean and quiet. Very short walk to any food restaurants breakfast lunch and dinner and many small shopping stores. There is a beautiful view from the belcony also. I would definitely stay again.

We stayed at this location recently. We were not sure what to expect since we have not traveled since March. It was a very positive experience. Ed and Shirley are excellent hosts. We loved the Orient Point Suite. It was very comfortable with a small kitchen stocked with a good variety of breakfast items. The bed was comfortable and the bath was well stocked with soap, shampoo, very nice towels...

I stayed here maybe a little over 10 years ago and it still, to this day sticks out to me as one of the best hotel stays I have ever had. The rooms were so vintage and clean! I loved how each room had a different theme. The owners couldn’t have been nicer. They had built a campfire for us and brought us marshmallows to roast. Stay here if you get the chance!

I loved the car themed rooms. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Friday night was sat around a camp fire and watched a car movie with the owners. The hotel gives you a 1960s mom and pop feeling. Very clean. They have incorporated older style cars and motorcycles through out the motel area. Even by the pool side.

Spent a few days with my husband and it was great. The owners are a super friendly couple and made us feel like family. The rooms are spacious and decorated old style. Each room has either a car or motorcycle theme. Amazing!!!! Will definitely come back.

Extremely nice and personable people and rooms were great. Each room was themed and very cool. We were allowed to see the different themes. Had a movie night with bonfire. Loved the nostalgia of the Gearhead Inn and hope to stay again for sure!!

amazing. me and my wife came here for our honeymoon and have no complaints. the rooms are huge, its quiet and the owners are as nice as can be. pluss the location is in the middle of cherokee and bryson city. we will deffinatly be comming back.

Room was spacious & bed comfy but could be updated. Room did have mildow smell but for the most part clean. Boyfriend liked the gear head theme & we both liked the hospitality of the owners. We might stay here if we visit the area again.

What a great find! The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable! Staff was nice and welcoming. Great location to downtown and attractions. I would 100% stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone.

Clean.Pillows and comforter are very fresh. Sheets are soft and the bed was super comfortable. No back pain the next morning. Didn't like that there was no central air conditioning but the unit in the room didn't smell and worked well. I'll be back next year and it will be my choice of hotel to stay in.

Excellent staff at the time of check in for 3 rooms with six people as we are traveling for work. Very helpful and went above and beyond! I am staying her on vacation the best thing is location it is close to everything Bryson city has to offer but still in the quite part of the smoky mountains. The breakfast is one of the better ones a hotel has to offer. Also the walk in showers are a plus

Great location for the Great Smokey Mountain Railroad. Breakfast was good, had a pancake maker! The rooms where nice but anyone over 5ft will have an issue with the shower as it's mounted low.

We had a wonderful weekend staying at Folkestone Inn last month. The room was perfect, location was great and the breakfasts were five-star amazing. Toni was very helpful with recommendations and we will definitely look forward to staying here again.

It was a very relaxing setting. Breakfast was a new experience for my husband and I, Scott is an excellent cook! Tonight was very helpful on suggestions on places to go and see. Alot of good conversations with the other couples there. Overall it was a great time. My husband would have liked a small TV. LoL!

Wow, wow, what an amazing Bed and Breakfast Inn! Beautiful old farm house converted into a B&B. The owners, Toni and Scott, were so welcoming and kind, and what I really liked, not overbearing. My wife and I stayed here last weekend and had a really great time. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. My Dodge truck is large we were having a hard time finding a place to park and he came out in the pouring rain and told me to park on the grass because it wouldn’t hurt it. Rooms are clean and cozy I slept like a baby in the comfortable king size bed! Loved staying there !

Great location - walking distance to the town. We took a room with a view on the river and it was very nice. It was clean, but things were old, most things need replacement and painting. The worse thing which made me rank this hotel so low was the bathroom window, which you cannot open. This is just terrible if there is no exhaust in the bathroom.

This is a basic motel, but absolutely spotlessly clean! This was a quick overnight stay and made our fast stop very pleasant. The owners are super folks ! We traveled with a service dog. Nice inexpensive hotel for the class of hotel. $75 per night. But, Pet fee is per dog. $35 each. So, not as inexpensive as we thought! We asked for an extra pillow, but none were apparently available. But for the price it was clean enough and fine for our needs. Deb was awesome for our family the entire weekend! The lodging was very clean, well organized, safe, close to town and to the cardinal cafe so it felt close but not too crowded at all! We stayed here for vacation and we were able to bring all of our dogs with us which in itself was a huge bonus! The owner of the cabin was fabulous and even had a “Happy Anniversary” flag for us along with a bottle of wine. My fiancée and I had a great trip here and really enjoyed the cabin, they had a hot tub on the deck that we utilized a lot and it was really beautiful up there in the mountains with all the leaves changing colors. My husband and I visited for a signature soak. Included a bottle of champagne, soaking salts, comfy robes, and soothing music. The experience exceeded our expectations!
