This was a 4 night stay, and the facility messaged me twice. When I requested a cleaning service on day 3 at the front desk I never received it and had to call the front desk for extra towels to be brought. Apparently the request made at the desk slipped through the cracks, and I should have called the housekeeping dept instead.
We checked in around 10 PM, and unfortunately, the bathroom was not properly cleaned. It looked like the previous guest had dumped food into the toilet — some kind of grains were stuck inside. Normally, I would have requested a room change, but my 7- and 5-year-old kids had fallen asleep on the way to the hotel, so I just put them to bed right away.
Also, there was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom, and I had to call the front desk to request some.
On the bright side, the breakfast was quite varied and enjoyable, and the pool was a nice bonus for the kids.
Nice hotel. Had to report a small toilet leak that had obviously been leaking for quite some time . It was promptly repaired. Room supposed to be refreshed "every other " day, 3 day stay not done. Ran out of breakfast eggs. Wanted 2 rooms run on same CC transaction, couldn't/wouldn't do it. Two identical transactions generated a denial and fraud alert on card.
Upon check-in for a 3 night stay, front desk staff informed me that they do not perform cleanings on multiple night stays. This was expected.
The hallway (I stayed on the 5th floor) was dirty. Large food ‘crumbs’ everywhere. Stains on the carpets. Trash bins in the hallways. Room was run down and looked like it hadn’t received a deep clean (dust in the vents) or seen a vacuum in too long. Desperately needed an update for wear and tear.
Also immediately noticed sign in the bathroom clearly states cleaning every other day.
The day following my check in, I was texted by the hotel to see how I was. I asked for a Kleenex refill and another bar of hand soap. It was never received. The last night of my stay, I messaged Hilton on X to inform them of my disappointment. I don’t need a refund, just an acknowledgment. The only response without apology was to send up Kleenex. If you’re in the Burlington area, I recommend finding a different hotel.
My compliment is that the breakfast was very clean, well stocked, and always ready early.
