DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Burlington Vermont
Burlington, 870 Williston Road 🧭 Map
No longer a Sheraton Hotel. New owners effective 12/1/17. Major remodeling underway so hallways are littered with construction changes. Lobby looks pretty good. Room with king bed still showed signs of recent remodeling - paint flakes inside closet on floor - no waste can in the bathroom. Internet access is good but no instructions were in the room as well as no room service menus available. Front...
Recently stayed at this hotel while visiting my brother. Greeted with friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff. Room was very clean in the bed was very comfortable. And I would highly suggest this hotel for anyone visiting the Burlington area. Very convenient as it is literally right off the highway and next to the university. Short drive to markets and the vibrant downtown. Will be staying here...
I have been staying there the 2nd week in November for at least 10 years in a row now. Most experiences have been good or I would not have gone back. However on my last stay, I was billed an extra day. (After prepaying mind you). I had to call 3 times over the last 9 days to get the issue resolved and as of the time of this writing, it is still not resolved. I stayed 2 nights checked out at 11:30am...
The customer service here is top notch. They have a nice indoor pool and fitness center. The rooms are updated and very clean. The beds are so comfortable and clean. They have a breakfast buffet that is pricey but very good. I would recommend staying at this location. It is close to down town Burlington.

We had a great experience at this Hampton inn. The room was very clean and organized and had high ceilings which made it feel cozy and premium. The walk to the room was short and easy and parking was simple. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful and willing to chat about places to visit locally. The breakfast was above average and the coffee was excellent. We would highly recommend...
I spent 2 nights here this weekend for my son and myself. The staff was super friendly. Especially Greg when i checked in. He was very professional, friendly and informative. The bed was comfortable and the brakfast had so many options. The only down fall was the website said it had a indoor pool. I was told apon check in the pool was colsed for a unknown amount of time. The main reason i booked was...
We had an amazing stay at the Hampton Inn! Tina, the breakfast attendant, was absolutely wonderful—her warm personality and attention to detail made breakfast such a delightful experience. Allison at the front desk was equally outstanding. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The hotel was clean, welcoming, and exceeded all our expectations. Highly...
Let me start with their front desk team is very friendly and helpful! They have a huge breakfast, with some very good food, including a waffle maker! The room was very clean and nicely put together. The bed was very comfortable and had perfect pillows. Didn't hit the pool, but maybe next time. The location of this hotel is perfect too because there's Starbucks, a restaurant and a gas station all within...
Great hotel, lots of restaurant choices nearby. Friendly staff, modern equipment at the fitness center. Quiet, clean, and plenty of hot water for showering.
A nice hotel, and desk staff exceeded by facilitating me in removing a large dead bird from our front grille that clobbered us 20 minutes outside town. Gloves, bags, and checked online just in case we were supposed to report it to Vermont Wildlife.

Enjoyed our weekend here. While I took a star off for the mattresses, which were not as comfy as I'd hoped, the room was clean, well appointed, and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was also in close walking distance (even in the cold) to local breakfast spots and other restaurants so we didn't have to worry about parking. Would definitely stay here again.
The atmosphere here is awesome. Really well done interior design and all the seats in the lounge area plus bar are very comfortable.
The bartenders know what they’re doing too. Top notch cocktails. Food was also on point. Very impressed all around.
Highly recommend this hotel to experience a uniquely excellent stay in Burlington. Warm, modern, rustic vibes greet you at every turn in this thoughtfully appointed property — from the loaner bikes and local suggestion cards, to coffee and tea bar on every floor and the in-room amenities, to Sunday morning cider and cider doughnuts — someone though of every detail that might make ours stay more pleasant...
I booked a corner room so we could see the lake. View was as promised. Room showing some wear and tear but not too bad. Reason my 4 star went to a 3 is due to the fact that there is no place to sit outside and enjoy the view you paid for unless you purchase something from the bar. We had bought a lovely bottle of wine in town with some cheese and wanted to sit outside to enjoy it but were told we...
Classy, rustic and very Vermont. Excellent food and accommodations. Music and outdoor seating available. Near the lake.
Love Hotel Vermont! It is the only hotel I stay at when I visit Burlington, Vermont. The staff is super friendly and the rooms a beautifully designed and always very clean.

Green Mountain Suites Hotel
Burlington, 401 Dorset Street 🧭 Map
Well appointed suites fully equipped. Cordial staff. Decent breakfast that was constantly replenished. Our unit was right on the main street so we heard constant traffic; some soundproofing would make this review a 5 out of 5. I would definitely recommend this location for it's service, location and facilities.
The hotel was in a great location. We were traveling all over Vermont, visiting family and general sightseeing. We were looking for a more upscale hotel that wasn't going to break our budget. The staff was friendly, courteous, and very helpful. The room was super clean, there was plenty of room, and the little kitchenette/living room space provided plenty of dishes. Having a full-size fridge was so...
Our favorite hotel in town!!!! This is our second time staying here and next time we are also planning on staying here. The staff is very nice and helpful ALWAYS, thank you for that! The rooms are clean and well kept, small kitchen is equipped with enough stuff to be able to fully use it. Any time we needed something, a phone call to the front desk, and in a short period we had somebody from the staff...
I recently had a 2-night stay at the Green Mountain Suites Hotel and had a wonderful experience. My room was huge - a king bed suite decorated beautifully. I took full advantage of the Happy Hour each night (from 5:30 pm-6:30 pm) which was a lovely amenity - complimentary wine and beer and snacks served in the lobby with a beautiful fireplace. Special shout out to the Front Office personnel - Kamran...
My wife and I have been to many hotels around the world, and this is probably the second best hotel we've stayed in. The best hotel, we feel, was a 5-star hotel in the Philippines, that's hard to beat!
The staff upgraded us to a room with a fireplace and it was very welcome (in fact, the first thing my wife did, when we reached the room, was to switch on the fireplace and sit in front of it!). The...
This place is an incredible value. Features a double fireplace in the lobby that's actually nice enough to want to go down and visit, and they put out these freshly baked chocolate chip cookies at the front counter that are to die for! My girlfriend and I both thought the mattresses in the room could have been more comfortable, but we both woke up feeling very refreshed, so I guess comfort isn't everything...

I have had to stay in Burlington due to a very sick family member at the hospital. Tim answered my desperate plea for an afordable room rate during peak tourist season in VT. The hotel is perfect, the rooms are so homey. I am so grateful this hotel gave me a safe haven when my world was crashing.
Pretty well kept and very clean. Staff was all very pleasant. Lots of options for breakfast, though it’s not a normal buffet due to covid. Overall pricy but we have no complaints.
This place will be my new go to when I'm visiting Vermont. We were greeted by a very kind gentleman that made sure we got a great room for us and our 3 large dogs . He was even respectful that one of them was a service dog . The room was so clean too! When I walked in it smelled plesent. Nice hot water for a shower lovely accommodations with pots, silverware, glasses, plates and bowls. I had such...
This Marriott offers free breakfast which is so convenient. They also provide la limited dinner to compete with the other hotels found locally. For a family of 2 adults and 2 kids we had a king and used the pull out. The rooms were clean, modern and included a kitchenette but felt it was a tad small for what we were used to. Maybe we brought in too many luggage. The staff was pleasant and professional...

the hotel is clean and located fairly close to downtown Burlington. We enjoyed the free coffee and the breakfast was also good. There was a variety of fruits, cereal, yogurts etc. We really enjoyed our stay, a special thank you to Donna
The bed was great and the shower was excellent. Lots of space in the room and great WIFI. Hot breakfast was appreciated.
Front desk person was not very friendly upon our arrival. We had made reservations for a certain room but were told it had not been available so they substituted another one without contacting us. For the price that shouldn't happen, we asked for some refund but reception said no. Beds were comfortable, bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. The ceiling in our room was flaking over the bed and one...
Our stay was wonderful. First time being in that area and couldn’t find a better place to stay. The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Frank was very helpful and resourceful and made us feel at home. Thank you Frank!
Hotel and room we're much nicer than I expected for the rate. Room was clean and tidy. Bed was not the most comfortable and the walls are a bit thin. Breakfast spread was great. The stay was about average, overall felt very good about booking before and after my stay.
Only stayed overnight for an early flight from Burlington internatioal. Everything was clean, comfortable ...staff was great. Prices then (feb) were very reasonable..less than now I see...and very important ..early am shuttle to airport

The hotel staff was amazing and very friendly. Greet you quickly and the process of checking in was very quick. The staff was very helpful. The rooms were very clean. The pool was a bit cold. But it was fun and the slide was awesome. I stayed one night but I would definitely stay again. Thank you very much to the staff who made us feel welcomed and right at home.
I see mixed reviews on here, but my experience was good. Good rate for the night I stayed (6/29/2019), and the room was very large, with a full kitchen, including full-sized refrigerator, stove top, and dishwasher. Air conditioning worked well. King bed was comfortable, but I brought my own pillow. Plentiful hot water for shower, but the shower head was mediocre. Not the best place, but far from the...
Very beautiful hotel. My family was in a suite. It was a very spacious room with 2 bathrooms and a very nice kitchen. It was more than enough room for my lively children. The breakfast was good. It looks more like a housing complex outside than a hotel. A very homey look. We missed out on the pool because it was under maintenance; this was the only negative aspect. Staff was friendly. I would definitely...
Stayed in a suite with a kitchenette. It was a cozy space with plenty of room. Fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and dishes and utensils. Wi-Fi and cable. Comfy beds. Great prices and availability. Superb customer service!
We have stayed here a few times. The staff (especially the nice young woman that worked the evening we went in) went above and beyond to accommodate us and helped us print out something we needed for our trip. The pool was kinda dirty and run down, but our son loved it! Room was clean, breakfast was good. We used the laundry on site which worked out well to dry our bathing suits. We will be back!
Excellent room. Was in town over night for a conference the next morning. Parking garage was conveintly located. Nice amenities. Super comfortable bed. Would stay again & recommend to a friend.

Burlington, 35 Hurricane Lane 🧭 Map
Decent hotel. Rooms are a little worse for wear. Very drafty main door (entry was exterior right off the parking lot). Old upholstery and "leather" type couch was cold and without pillows. Light in kitchen didn't come on. Comfortable bed. Overall clean and roomy.
Rooms are clean and spacious. Check-in was a breeze. Very hospitable staff! Nice little continental breakfast and really close to highway, shops and restaurants.
Overall I was disappointed because the pictures didnt match our experience. The gym was a joke and the rooms didnt have bedrooms, just an open plan. The pool was nice but a bit small for laps. The jet pool was not hot, but the jets worked. . . The place was generally understaffed when we were there and not everyone was so helpful, but overall they treated us well.
Condo style accommodation with several long term residents and many moving trucks dotting the parking lot. Rooms look slightly worn. View was of the highway. Convenient to the highway and pets welcome.
The hotel was nice. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed the pool. It was heated with a nice hot tub attached so it was easy to hang out with the kids while they swam and I enjoyed the hot tub. We had a loft suite so the room was very big, 2 floors. There was a nice kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The temperature controls were easily accessible and easy to use. The only drawback was when we went...
Cute clean spacious rooms, good service, really good breakfast and a fireplace in our room. Great affordable place for a family of eight. Also pet friendly.

Great job helping out the economy when it needs help and making it a nice place during the holidays!! Most staff are friendly and warming!!!
The staff ,under management ,are so awesome and helpful. This motel doesn't rent to the public. Now it's people placed by the state, homeless. They are trying to help people off the streets, it's so awesome.
This by far was best hotel experience I've had. The rooms are clean spacious & secure. The staff here really look out for the guests every need. All the comforts of home with attention to every detail. The manager Julie helped us with a situation that could have easily gotten out of control. She was very professional & knowledgeable about everything that is going on & went above and beyond the duties...
Room is always clean and staff is very accommodating to our needs. The only thing I can say bad is their coffee isn't good. Its very bitter. But everything else is great.
This location has the most comfortable beds and their pillows are amazing. They also have a workout room, a swimming pool for the summer time, and they offer breakfast which is always nice and a great way to start the day.
Clean rooms, very friendly staff. Affordable rooms. Pet friendly, but kept up nicely. Would recommend and stay again .

Recently visited this hotel for a work conference. We didn't stay, so I don't know what the rooms were like, other than the conference room, which was very nice. We had lunch as part of the conference and he food was great. We had all day coffee service and I thought their coffee was good and plenty. The bathrooms were cleaned often. My only suggestion/complaint is that they could use another bathroom...
I wouldnt say this is a luxury hotel. More like a nice motel where you can park near your room on the sprawling property. Lots of late night activity in the parking lot that made me nervous about using the side doors. Lots of late night activity in the hallways as well. Could have been a group but as a solo business traveler staying for the week, I would have preferred a quiet area.
Fantastic hotel! Holding a conference at the Delta Marriott was a great experience! All the staff members especially Heather, Stacy, and Mikey are absolutely wonderful at their jobs and made us feel very welcomed and prioritized all day. The restaurant had great food and friendly servers, and the rooms and public spaces were all very clean and updated. There is also a nice little courtyard that would...
Amazing service. All the staff were very considerate, caring, helpful, and incredibly friendly. I loved the free cookies in the lobby and the fruit-infused water, that truly made a world of a difference. The room I stayed in was very comfortable and spacious, with a very nice shower and bathtub. The free airport shuttle made things much easier. 5 stars, no question about that!
Not sure I can explain it but the beds were very comfortable. The hotel and ones near it seem redone older hotels. The lower ceilings in the hall the somewhat peeling wallpaper and a bit of the layout give that away but the bed was surprisingly good. The TV selection for premium services was a nice surprise too.
Great hotel! The rooms are very well designed, I feel they thought of almost everything. Beds and shower are heavenly. The only thing I would prefer is if breakfast was complimentary.

I had a good experience staying at Handy's. The front desk clerk Nik was very welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. There was free parking and the room was spacious and the price was good. A little shoddy looking but for the price it was excellent.
Nice, cozy, rooms have kitchen, breakfast at Day's Inn next door included, free WiFi, reasonable rates, close to Burlington. The staff was very friendly and there is a small gift shop with, among other things, Vermont maple syrup. We would definitely stay there again.
Started on second floor went to bigger room on first floor now on the 3rd floor it is huge. The staff is nice especially mel . It does need a breakfast over here and maybe a swing set for kids. Nice rooms need a weight room to and they are going to be putting in new carpet and other things but all and all I love this place
They do a great job cleaning, although the place would definitely benefit from some updating (which will be starting next week!). It's a very 60's feel currently. We arrived at 3:15 and our room wasn't ready due to the previous occupants not being considerate of check out time. We were so exhausted from our travels that the manager found a place for us to rest until our room was ready, which was greatly...

The location is good but the rooms are a bit old fashioned. Service is decent but call if you're planning to check in late. MADE INN VERMONT
Burlington, 204 S WILLARD STREET 🧭 Map
My husband and I celebrated his 40th birthday this week with a small vacation to VT and we settled on Made Inn Vermont. First, the location is incredible. We were able to walk to Church Street and to several of the restaurants and bars in the area. Second, the B&B itself was more than we could’ve ever hoped for. It’s so cozy and quaint, with a quirky modern twist! There’s so many amenities, we honestly...
My wife and I stayed here for almost a week with our two pups. Linda and Ana were amazing! The breakfasts were divine! Linda and Ana also took great care of our pups and brought them bacon every morning. The pups also had their own water bowls and treats ready when we arrived. And then there’s the overall vibe of the Inn - artsy and quirky and beautiful. You’ll feel at home here. Highly recommend!
This place was fab.
Linda was a lovely host. Breakfast was delicious. There were a lot of options on the menu, and all of them were perfectly prepared. You get a private bathroom, though there's a shared hallway to get to the bathrooms. Shower had good water pressure; just make sure you turn the knobs up high enough. Loads of amenities, including tea, coffee, a hot tub, and streaming channels in the...
My husband and I feel so lucky to have discovered this gem of a place! What a truly unique Burlington experience. Such a warm, fun, and charming place. We love the retro vibe, and comfort. And the food! No need to go anywhere else for breakfast- Linda and Emmy provided a gourmet meal, made to order. We loved that dogs are welcome too! Linda is a wonderful host, fun to talk with, and full of great...
One of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had! One of the funkiest and most eclectic stays we’ve experienced. The innkeeper, Linda is hilarious and warm (and gives great recommendations for activities around Burlington). If you’re looking to avoid a straightforward, regular B & B experience, this would be your new cup of tea. You can walk to the downtown easily and the rooms are quiet (the AC unit is...
