The Chattanoogan Hotel, Curio Collection By Hilton

Gorgeous, spacious hotel with a fabulous staff and hands down the most pet friendly hotel I have been to. We travel with our little dog a lot and there are hotels we love that being pet friendly is their shtick - this hotel gives them a run for their money. The rooftop bar is beautiful with a stellar drink and food menu and it’s entirely dog friendly. The Forge restaurant downstairs allowed us to eat full service in the adjoining lounge area so we didn’t have to leave our girl in the room alone. I have been blown over with the hospitality and kindness of the staff at this hotel. Our room was huge and clean and the bed was super comfortable. The housekeeping staff is fabulous and it’s so nice to come back to a made up bed and fresh towels. This hotel seems to cater to conferences and events but it doesn’t feel busy or crowded even though there was several events during our stay. There is a spa onsite as well that is absolutely delightful and you must see Patrick Murphy while there! Oh and they sell Farmhouse Fresh products which are an absolute treat and bonus! I truly cannot wait to come back to this hotel; thank you Hilton for a fabulous weekend!

I actually chose this hotel because I don't really like staying in mundane, uninspired hotels. I paid a little extra for our overnight stay because I wanted an accommodation that was more inviting than your basic Hampton Inn or Courtyard Marriott. In the end, was it worth it? I'd say yes.

Pro: The common area is very large and inviting.
Con: Upon check in, the staff didn't tell me about any of the amenities so I never went on the tour to find the gym, although I may locate it this morning, to fill my water bottle.

Pro: Early check in was an option that I was able to take advantage of.
Con: By the time I requested a late check out, the list was full. This is not a complaint, just a reminder to ask upon check in if you really need one. The luggage storage will be fine for us.

Pro: Apparently they allow pets because I heard a dog barking every time I walked by a particular door.
Con: If they are going to allow dogs they need to do a more thorough job cleaning and vacuuming the rooms. There was an obvious dog hair on a hand towel

Con: the remote control didn't work.
Pro: the sent someone up immediately to fit it. Apparently a cord that allows the remote to control the television wasn't fully plugged in.

Pro tip:
The hotel charges 16.00 for self park. But if you aren't going to need in and out privileges, you should just pay at the garage because it's only $10.00. I didn't know that until it was too late.

Pro tip:
Don't use the iron. I checked it before I used it, but still ended up with black marks on my clothing.

Pro tip: You probably won't be able to use the QR code in the room because the file is huge and times out but you may be able to get the info that you need by going on line or calling the front desk.

I recommend this hotel, but book well in advance so you can take advantage of any lower rates. They don't have a doorman and they aren't going to greet you when you enter or leave, but the overall ambiance is nice.

Gorgeous hotel. Has a sparse, brutal architecture feel inside. Very spacious. I could hang out in the lobby for hours.
Room was very nice. Bathroom was even nicer. Room service is available as is a few different bars and three restaurants. Parking costs extra.

Beautiful hotel! I wish it had been made more clear that if I wanted housekeeping I had to request it 24 hours beforehand (while there was a sign at the front desk with small print stating this, I didn't see it, and when I was checking in it wasn't verbally mentioned). But otherwise, I really enjoyed my stay and the bed was really comfy. The rooftop bar is also great (do yourself a favor and order the bao buns!) and all of my interactions with the front desk staff were very pleasant. I was in town for a concert at The Signal and the location was perfect, it was an easy walk. I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Chattanooga!

I have a great time at this hotel! I was immediately greeted by Matthew who let the spa team know me and my mom had arrived. We quickly zoomed into our room and were in awe of the great view! After tossing our luggage in the room we then headed down to the Spa attached to the hotel. I got a hot stone massage from the lovely Crystal & my mom was pleased with Julie. Great work ladies, thank you!! After we were put to ease we were then honored by Patrick’s gracious ways. From the good laughs to great food suggestions we knew this hotel was going to have our hearts. Thank you everyone for the awesome experience!
