The Read House was such a wonderful experience in every way. The staff was kind and accommodating. The building itself is rich and beautiful. I highly recommend. For my first visit to Chattanooga this is probably one of the best places I could have stayed. It is on the road with several other hotel establishments. But it is at the end of the road overlooking a beautiful Green River Bank. The view from my window was gorgeous. The hotel is being renovated into a DoubleTree, and they're adding all of the finest touches one could want.

Spent one night here. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly. They have an indoor pool which is great when visiting during the winter. We stayed on the 2nd floor and the ice machine didn't work. We stayed there on a voucher due to a cancellation of a flight. Pretty standard rooms which were just fine. No elevator, unfriendly staff and do not expect coffee or any breakfast items in the morning. You can buy and microwave some stuff but not worth it.

Our room was great with a scenic view of the river. Breakfast was good and plenty of options to choose from. There was an unexpected charge of $14.00 for parking even though we did not use their parking lot. Just a heads up, lookout for additional charges for services that were not provided.

When I saw the Reception desk and hallway areas were under heavy construction as of December 2017 I almost canceled my stay at the hotel but upon getting to my Room I saw a freshly renovated suite That looked brand new and did not have a harsh smell of paint. East Ridge has grown into a mature adult from its days of being a brat. Super 8 is a hidden gem amongst the development currently taking place. After business hours, when the work outside stops, kick back in one of the comfortable rooms and enjoy.

Hotel was clean. When we put the do not disturb magnet up it was taken seriously. Housekeepers kept their voices down when cleaning nearby and didn’t even vacuum in front of our door. I stopped in Chattanooga because of the winter storm, and stayed at this hotel. It’s super clean — like you could eat off the floor clean — and the staff is very friendly. It’s obviously not a luxury resort; but if you want someplace that is budget-friendly, clean, comfortable, safe, and quiet, you can’t go wrong with this Days Inn.

People were nice and helpful. When I made my reservation I stated 1 adult and 1 cat, but was still charged extra for the cat. Rooms were nice and clean. Bathroom was clean but a little mold on the shower curtain. Pillows were terrible! Sheets were fine but the blanket was old and scatchy. Breakfast was mostly carbs, no eggs or meat, only fruit was red apples. It was fine for what we were there for, sleep and leave after a light breakfast. Staff was polite and kind.

Keep in mind that they are not flexible in the event of a cancelation. We had to cancel our room, due to a illness, and they said that they would mark it as a "no show" and that I could call back on the night shift to see if they would refund us but that she was not able to help. Was a good place to stay for us- we stayed 1 nite passing threw. Front desk gentleman was funny and nice! Breakfast is small, but those rice crispy treats were good for sure, and bananas are always a plus. I called to stay on the way back- but I had my 3 lb Yorkie and she was not allowed - dont hold that against them when back that way without my Yorkie I will stay again.

It was a comfortable bed when I needed it at midnight on my way home from an event south of Atlanta. It isn't much to look at, and the parking was very tight. Also, be careful as you walk around the corner of the building to go up the stairs -- the bottom of the stairs is right there for you to bonk your head.

I have stayed in many different Motel6 locations. This Motel6 was the nicest of all. The room was very clean and neat. I stayed for two nights and when I returned to the room, I found it clean and neat as if I had not stayed the night before. I will stay here again when I return to Chattanooga.

The rooms were fine. Everything was pretty clean and comfortable. I ended up leaving my computer in one of the drawers. I'm writing this comment to give accolades to the General Manager at the motel 6 in Downtown Chattanooga. He sent me back the bag and I received it in 3 days. I am forever grateful to this man. Please recognize him!

Nice, clean room. Property was clean, and looked and felt safe for me and my daughter. The staff members were extremely helpful and made our stay comfortable. Bob was wonderful to talk with, remembering to ask if the suggestions he provided were useful (they were!). And the coffee was good!

Nice place. Clean towels and room. Doors were locked when I arrived, so I had to use a peep hole window. There are several places to walk to nearby. This place is off main rd so nice an private area. Small parking area. Super cool shower.

This is an excellent motel and a great value. You usually have to pay twice as much for a room this good. The rooms and beds were very clean, the TV and remote worked, wifi was good, and the shower was fancier than any I have used at expensive hotels. Overall the room was clean & updated . $79 on a Saturday was a good value. For a MOTEL it was great. Bed was comfy & linens were clean which is my #1 priority. AC was great. Shower has good pressure & hot but sink hot water pressure was very low. Told "Absolutely No chance at all" to check in 30 min early despite the room being available yet the check out is early at 10am Phone did not work in room...

This place was a pretty good stop, especially for just one night in town! It was cheap, but clean and it appears to have been remodeled relatively recently. The shower was super nice, but doesn’t get as hot as I would like (however, I love to burn myself in the shower lol). I like the hard floors, because it just seems more sanitary. Beds were comfortable, tv and fridge worked fine, parking was easy...

The rooms were adequate but my TV had audio but no visual. The bathroom was clean, supplied, and properly equipped. The bed was nicely made and comfortable. The cost was reasonable.

It was nice when you first walk in. I dont believe I stayed because the price for one night was outrageous I think like 80 or 90 dollars. If you want a nice room and can pay to stay, by all means! Take it! I just didn't have the extra 100.00 for a night when some places around here are 200.00 for a week. But if your looking for somewhere nice and has good amenities. Room was very clean and comfortable. Checked for bed bugs, (as we always do,) no visible sign. You can definitely tell that they are trying to turn this place around. Which, as contractors, we understand how difficult and expensive just maintaining a motel can be in this economy. Keep up the good work.

Nice cheap place to stay. Convenient to the interstate and with in 5 to 10 minutes of shopping. Harley Dealership is right across the road along with McKay book store.
