Nice hotel. In mid renovation and it has caused no inconvenience. Room is clean and good sized. Very centrally located to walking Chattanooga. Only issue we've had is air conditioner not cool enough. Food really good too.
We really enjoyed our visit. The accommodations were wonderful and the view was AMAZING. Great location too. They did overbook king size beds, but were able to upgrade us to a presidential room (which I think means we got the great view). The reason I'm giving 4 stars is the room we were attached to had very thin walls. We could hear the couple next door talking, although it wasn't so bad that we could...
During my visit to a conference, the meeting rooms were pristine, though very cold. Staff responded quickly and provided excellent service. Catering was delicious!
Not the best location if you are wanting to walk to waterfront but excellent for convention center and even Lookout Mountain. There is a free city bus that will take you if you want to get around that way. Bathroom redone and the shower is great. Air conditioning wasn't working but I'm sure they wouldve moved me if I'd asked. Room was small but clean.
Very helpful, always diligent. Great staff and very nice convention offering. Place was undergoing renovation, but was generally quite well taken care of.
Came here for a wedding that was held at the adjacent convention center. Location of the hotel is convenient to the downtown area, Starbucks in the lobby. The rooms are your standard Marriott style rooms, they are the newer renovated style so everything looks good inside. The convention center is connected by an indoor walkway so it's great if you are attending an event there.

On a recent road trip we spent one night at the Westin in Chattanooga. I was pleased with the great price for the luxury hotel. The building, entrance, the bar and restaurants, and the room all exceeded my expectations. And I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels! There are several places close by to eat or drink. It you can eat in the hotel. The restaurant’s are a bit pricey but nice atmosphere. The...
Would have given 5 stars if not for the horrendous breakfast. Hotel location, room, check in staff were outstanding! Everything during our stay had been so great we thought we would have breakfast there instead of a more popular restaurant. Not crowded at all, but waited 10 minutes before the waitperson came by. Waited another 10 minutes or more before getting and asking for coffee from another lady...
Really enjoyed this hotel. Everyone was kind and welcoming. I was able to bring my precious doggie and he was able to sleep with me and everyone loved dogs! A hotel that loves dogs is something special. There is a bar downstairs where you can get drinks food etc most day and night. The room was quiet not too noisy and there were a lot of guests! I will stay again....
Clean, updated rooms with very friendly staff. Within walking distance of a few dining choices. I was part of a conference group and the lunch was excellent. Some of the best hotel provided conference meals I have ever had (and I have had many!). Would definitely stay again when I am in the area.
Kind and helpful staff. Beautiful pool area. Decent room size and bathroom. Top notch decor. Smudges on some of the glass in my room and bathroom door. Definitely missed spots when cleaning. I would stay there again.

The Read House was such a wonderful experience in every way. The staff was kind and accommodating. The building itself is rich and beautiful. I highly recommend. We stayed in room 303 (right down the hall from the haunted 311). The ghost tour was spooktacular! It’s also so close to amazing attractions in Chattanooga. Check it out!
This was our first visit to The Read House but not the last. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Our room as amazing! The 311 tour, guided by John, he did a fabulous job explaining the history of this beautiful hotel and the events of 311. The food was good and we really enjoyed playing billiards. The beds and pillows were comfortable. If you are looking for a unique experience I would definitely...
EVERYONE IS SO KIND! Traveled alone with my daughters and nephew for my oldest daughter’s birthday. I was concerned it wouldn’t be the best environment for kids, but we were warmly welcomed despite their rambunctiousness. We had a wonderful experience — dined at the lounge and otherwise spent most of our time in the pool. I love that everything we needed was right there in the hotel. Starbucks, dinner...
Had a wonderful stay at the Read House for my nephew's wedding. The reception dinner was perfectly executed and everyone was professional and warming. Lovely historic hotel. My king premier room was exceptional. Everyone I encountered was delightful, from the front desk to housekeeping to the bartenders. I would highly suggest this hotel for a special event or holiday. And to add, I met fabulous...
I cannot say enough about how amazing this beautiful historic hotel is. We’ve stayed here four times, two of those being for the Roaring 20’s New Year’s Eve party, which is absolutely spectacular, and fun beyond words! We’ve stayed in the Manor House side, as well as the Historic Tower, which is our favorite. Both experiences were exceptional. The restoration, decor, and attention to detail is phenomenal...
I stayed in the premium rooms, it was very clean and recently refurbished. My first night was booked separately in one of the traditional rooms, which was fine.

Was allocated a room on the top (7th) floor with a balcony and some lovely views, room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable, and everything that we needed was provided. Two Free drinks each in the bar in the early evening was appreciated.
First time in Chattanooga, and I like it. The Embassy Suites here is really nice. I loved the grand lobby, which was extra special decorated for Christmas. We got a balcony room which was beautiful and clean. The view from our room was cool and it was nice to sit on the balcony with coffee from the keurig machine. I love when hotels have those. Best part was the Ruth's Chris that was in the hotel....
Not a bad stay. I wish the bed was newer, felt a bit worn. I could feel springs. Staff was mostly friendly. We did have to go back and ask for our members bag. Even then they only gave us one. There were two of us. The hotel was mostly clean and quiet. Free cocktails are nice and having a Ruth's Chris steakhouse built on is nice.
The hotel staff was amazing. The made to other omelette and the breakfast was great. The room was very clean. I did stay for a week there and my only issue was that the hotel AC was limited to 70 degrees nothing under. I usually like my hotels at 65-68 degree. Other than that it was amazing stay. Clean hotel very nice looking. Always parking and close to everything
We love Embassy Suites. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Nice clean rooms. The breakfast is a full menu and great to be included. My only complaint is the bed pillows they are way too soft and we prefer much firmer pillows. I won't hold back 4 stars for that!
Most horrific parking I have ever seen. Had to wait in parking lot for 15 minutes for a space to open up. Service and rooms are nice - but parking !! Won’t be back just for that reason.

We were very excited to stay here. We learned of construction back in spring, but we're told sections were going to be finished by the time we arrived. The lobby was clearly under construction when we arrived, but we assumed the room would be updated and tried to remain optimistic. The hallways were filled with construction tools and dust. When we arrived in the room there was a bed. I have stayed...
Disappointed that when we made the reservation we weren't notified that the Hotel was under MAJOR construction. From the parking lot to the lobby to the rooms it wasn't ready to receive guests. They were gracious enough to refund our money and recommend an amazing hotel nearby. Travel + Leisure magazine just did a nice piece in them with the promise that construction was to be done in October. I'm...
The hotel is undergoing massive renovation. The pool and fitness room were not available. The gardens are under construction as are the train cars and the renovation is much needed. No discount given for the unavailable amenities. They could have, at least, gave free parking. They did offer coffee and pastries in the lobby each morning, but, the lobby is not very clean with the construction going on...
Staying at this hotel was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel. Despite their warnings of construction in the lobby we had an amazing time. From the moment we arrived at the front counter Evan made us feel exceptionally welcome. He chatted with us, gave us some local history, and always was so friendly when we passed by the lobby that I needed to dedicate a small review portion to...
This is a very interesting place. The actual hotel has little to do with the architecturally interesting train station seen on its ad. It is a separate building built in the 70s which, while in good shape, could use some updating. However, the front desk personnel are amazingly friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. The best part is the train station area next to the hotel which...
If you are going just to see the Choo Choo or have a drink and some dinner at the several restaurants/bars there then it is absolutely worth going to see the old train depot and have some great food and a strong drink....even listen to some live music as several of the places have live music on Friday's or Saturday's. The hotel itself I would skip all together. The room itself was fine. It was updated...

The location of the hotel is fantastic- within easy walking distance to everything. It feels safe and the rooms are lovely
Stayed here from 9/2 -9/4/22. The hotel was nice and clean. Staff was nice and courteous. Room was clean, bed comfy. Breakfast was better than your normal Holiday inn fare. Keep in mind you need to pay for parking. The location is good if you want to walk around downtown and not have to drive. I would stay here again if we come back.
The room was great which probably matters most right. The bed was clean and comfortable. The ac was ice cold, and the shower was large! The location is pretty good to everything downtown was accessible. Minus 1 star for some of my nitpicks: - The pool was open (confirmed at the desk), but they made no effort to take the closed signs down. - The fire pit wasn't turned on; the desk confirmed it's closed...
First started off with the friendliest staff!! The valet parking was fast and friendly and took care of our car with no issues!! The pool was a great size and luckily we had it to ourselves!! The atmosphere was peaceful as well! We definitely...
Our one-night stay was fine. The room was clean and ready for us and there were no issues with checking in or out. The only issue I have was with the valet parking staff who were incredibly rude. I hosted my mother's surprise 75th birthday celebration at this hotel, she was elated and overwhelmed with her fun milestone experience. My wife and I spent the weekend in downtown Chattanooga and chose to stay at the Double tree. The location is superb. You are within a 3 to 5 minute walk from many great restaurants. As for the room, we found no issues with it. The staff were nice and helpful. If I had to choose something that bugged me, it would be the fact that the hotel didn't have drink vending machines on the room floors.
Very nice hotel. Great staff. The fitness room is small but has all one need for cardio and weight. The rooms are quiet and clean with a quaint look. Perfect for walking around and visit. There’s an extensive amount of restaurants and this guy to see around and walking distance.
Where to start....from the moment we walked in, until the time we left, everyone was wonderful! This staff at this location make it worth your stay. Gunner was very welcoming & friendly. The hotel is an older building..only 2 elevators serve the guests. The lobby is beautiful and a fun place to sit. The rooms and hallways are a bit beat up, but ok. Room and linens were reasonably clean. Location for downtown access is great!

This was our first visit to Chattanooga and we decided to stay at the Chattanoogan Hotel because of its location and good reviews. The rooms were decent and the restaurants are nice. However, we chose valet and paid $22 a night and on our last night there, 30+ cars (including ours) got broken into. I would think that for a hotel valet, their garage would be a little bit more secured for their guests...
Gorgeous, spacious hotel with a fabulous staff and hands down the most pet friendly hotel I have been to. We travel with our little dog a lot and there are hotels we love that being pet friendly is their shtick - this hotel gives them a run for their money. The rooftop bar is beautiful with a stellar drink and food menu and it’s entirely dog friendly. The Forge restaurant downstairs allowed us to eat...
I actually chose this hotel because I don't really like staying in mundane, uninspired hotels. I paid a little extra for our overnight stay because I wanted an accommodation that was more inviting than your basic Hampton Inn or Courtyard Marriott. In the end, was it worth it? I'd say yes. Pro: The common area is very large and inviting. Con: Upon check in, the staff didn't tell me about any of the...
Gorgeous hotel. Has a sparse, brutal architecture feel inside. Very spacious. I could hang out in the lobby for hours. Room was very nice. Bathroom was even nicer. Room service is available as is a few different bars and three restaurants. Parking costs extra.
Beautiful hotel! I wish it had been made more clear that if I wanted housekeeping I had to request it 24 hours beforehand (while there was a sign at the front desk with small print stating this, I didn't see it, and when I was checking in it wasn't verbally mentioned). But otherwise, I really enjoyed my stay and the bed was really comfy. The rooftop bar is also great (do yourself a favor and order...
I have a great time at this hotel! I was immediately greeted by Matthew who let the spa team know me and my mom had arrived. We quickly zoomed into our room and were in awe of the great view! This is a mixed review, as the room itself was just fine. We checked in through the Hilton app, and used digital key. As we were relaxing for the evening, an employee walked in, without knocking. They were apologetic and left. Thank goodness, we were presentable. When I asked the front desk what happened, with a bit of annoyance, they said we did not check in. First, that does not excuse not knocking...
Room was great. Wonderful roomy shower with outstanding water pressure and hot water whenever you choose to shower. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially the dark haired younger girl. For my first visit to Chattanooga this is probably one of the best places I could have stayed. It is on the road with several other hotel establishments. But it is at the end of the road overlooking a beautiful Green River Bank. The view from my window was gorgeous. The hotel is being renovated into a DoubleTree, and they're adding all of the finest touches one could want.
The suite we stayed in was top notch. So roomy. The entire place had a great vibe and we will definitely stay here again.
Great experience here! The staff was courteous, helpful and very pleasant! We stayed one night, and would loved to stay longer. No continental breakfast, but it’s better this way because you can actually have a really delicious breakfast instead of dried out, stale junk most other hotels offer as their “continental breakfast”. We ordered the breakfast burritos,, they were massive and delicious! I...
We called for room service from 6 am to 7 am no answer . I called the front desk just to see if I was calling the right place. No answer from 6 to 7 there. Spent one night here. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly. They have an indoor pool which is great when visiting during the winter. We stayed on the 2nd floor and the ice machine didn't work. Thank you Scott (the GM), David (Sales Director) and the entire team (Zach and others , you too) there at the Hampton Inn Chattanooga. Great location. I was disappointed that the Hampton Inn did not maintain its lobby coffee in the evening. Even after reporting the issue to the staff, the coffee remained empty.
Excellent rooms, location is great with plenty restaurants and sights within walking distance. Service could have been better, particularly the breakfast can be a bit too much fried stuff. Fruit, cheese, ham, etc. would make a good addition and could bring the breakfast up to the same standard as the rest of the hotel.
Overall, this was an okay stay. I stayed here for 4 nights and 5 days for a work trip. The location was the best part of the hotel as it is right off the highway and near everything that Downtown Chattanooga has to offer. Excellent overall. Rooms very spacious. Helpful staff. Nancy in particular has been extra hospitable. The breakfast staff goes above and beyond, and have positive morning attitudes.
Very nice hotel for the price. Non smoking hotel so the rooms do not smell like smoke. Nice amenities like a putting green, pool, spa, gym. There is a small store where you can get little things you may have forgotten. Very nice staff that always acknowledged you and asked how you were doing.

Great hotel in a great location, directly across from the aquarium. No free breakfast, but a nice little breakfast bistro is on the main floor. My only complaint is the valet lost my key. I did not pay anything at checkout since the regatta covered half of the room.
I called the hotel to assist in a technical issue with the bonvoy app while making adjustments for my upcoming trip. (It was my own error.) Tyler was courteous, helpful, and very welcoming and professional, giving me helpful tips for my plans during my stay while i was on the line. We are so excited to stay here and see Chattanooga for the first time!
Our room was great with a scenic view of the river. Breakfast was good and plenty of options to choose from. There was an unexpected charge of $14.00 for parking even though we did not use their parking lot. Just a heads up, lookout for additional charges for services that were not provided.
The room was clean and had a nice layout. Restaurant was very enjoyable. Great food, great service from Lou, and wonderful view. Only issue was Coffee both days. It wasn’t hot either day. The first morning they had a carafe labeled bold, so it was a double disappointment since it was neither. Lukewarm weak coffee.

Coming from someone who worked in hotels i will say I was pleasantly surprised. Room was decent, quiet and clean for the most part. Bathtub faucet leak like crazy and the bathroom floor wasn't swept. Front desk staff could of been a little more courtesy.
The best part of this hotel was the City Cafe attached to it that's open all day, 24 hours! The food and service was awesome. The rooms had a microwave, mini fridge coffee maker, comfy beds, and pillows! I guess it's too cold for the pool to be open but there's one of those, too!
Good place. Great location. Clean and friendly front desk. If visiting here and love books and music, check out Mckay's Books down the street. Also has a cool lounge here too. Great access to interstate. No complaints.
Good hotel. The staff was very nice. This guy Jimmy at the front desk when I checked in was super cool and I already liked the place. They have a 24 hour diner which is pretty cool and convenient. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because the door separating my room from the Next Room was paper thin and I could hear every conversation they were having. Maybe they were just being loud but it...
The Heritage Inn in Chattanooga, is one of our favourite destinations. This time on March 29, it was beyond awesome. I had, in error made reservations at the wrong Best Western Heritage Inn, and Jimmy at the front desk figured it all out, and insisted that the other, incorrect Heritage Inn not charge us for our room there. We will be back!!! Kudos to Jimmy, he is one of your great employees.

Everything was to my standards friendly staff and very clean and great location I will share the experience of the Hotel with others.
TLDR: Walls and floors are thin. Only 1 microwave for the whole hotel and it's downstairs by the bar area. Everything else was fine or great. We had requested at booking for a top floor far from the elevator but the highest floor they had with our room type at check in was 4th floor. Thankfully we were the farthest room from the elevator so we didn't get the "stampede running down the hallway" noise...
If you are getting a double bed, beware that the rooms are pretty small unlike the other Fairfield that we have stayed in before. My family and I are avid travelers so we were really shocked at the size of the room and the size of the bathroom. The employees were really sweet and breakfast was great for the kids. You can tell that it used to be another hotel until Marriott bought it, but we only stayed...
A great airport area hotel in Chattanooga. The rooms are clean and spacious. Typical Marriott amenities are available in every room. There are several food options within walking distance of the hotel. The surrounding area and the hotel itself are quiet and great for business travel. The staff was friendly and helpful. As a frequent business traveler, I'll definitely be returning to this hotel when...
Stopped in for a short overnight (got there after 12) but had a good impression. Lobby was expansive but somehow still cozy. Rooms were comfortable and efficient. Lots of food options nearby (which we didn’t get to enjoy.) Only “down-side” was house-keeping knocking on our door a little after 10am. Granted, I didn’t have the sign on the door but was letting my son sleep in, so equally my fault. Didn...
Location is very busy, but that's what you'd expect for the area. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby, and a great continental breakfast in the morning. Some staff was fantastic, others were a bit iffy. Loved the ladies cleaning the rooms! So personable and welcoming. A major breath of fresh air, and our kids loved their smiling faces.

The hotel is close to the highway, dining and shopping but it is not noisy. The breakfast and dinner were great, including the cook and serving team. The front desk team in the morning and evening were very social and helpful with information. We love the comfort of the bed and the shower had good water pressure.
We had an extremely accommodating stay here in Chattanooga. The room was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had everything we needed. Most importantly the clean comfortable bed after a long night of traveling. They were able to change our reservations for us and check us in early to our room! We were very appreciative.
We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Chattanooga, on the way to drop off my daughter to the Southern University, Our room was extremely clean, comfortable, after being on the road driving for 15 hours. The breakfast was hot and fresh and the serving staff was very nice. I will be staying with them on my return for my daughter. The price was right and the hotel smells really beautiful it's like walking...
Our stay was AMAZING! Anna at the front desk was great, she was so friendly and welcoming, she truly went above and beyond to make my family feel at home. The room was very large and clean, the breakfast was great, Sharon was very helpful and welcoming as well She made sure we had everything we needed in the breakfast area. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area
The Cons: Room 405 needs service work on the HVAC system. The bearings are going out on the blower. The noise made it difficult for me and my family to sleep. The mini fridge was marginally cooling during our stay. The price was not worth the overall experience . We might be considering other options for accommodations during our next visit to the Chattanooga area. The Pros: indoor pool was...
This hotel is always clean and comfortable. The restaurant is excellent and it is located in an area with lots of choices of other restaurants and activities.
