Hyatt Place Chesapeake

Hyatt Place is always a good choice for business travel. The Breakfast in the hotel is good enough.

Staff was great. Breakfast was surprisingly good. It was in a great location near a lot of restaurants and shopping. We would stay here again.

The rooms are large, but the space is not designed very well. Lots of wasted space. The bathroom is very small. The toilet is in the same space as the shower. The entry door is very large/heavy and low to the floor. The hinges on the bathroom door are rusty. When opened, it takes the bath rug and bunches it off to the side. The shower doors are VERY hard to move.
The a/c blows directly on the bed at night, making it very cold when sleeping. It is very loud when it cycles on/off and it frequently woke us up at night.
The room wasn't cleaned one of the days of our stay. Breakfast was good.

Always clean and friendly service. Decent breakfast. When we always come to VA this is where we stay!

First the hotel is around ALOT. Able to walk or drive to food and shops. Mall near by. My room was very spacious. Breakfast was good eggs, bread, oatmeal, and meat. The man at the front desk had a pleasant attitude. Parking was easy. My con is the cleaning. There needs to be deep clean. Stuff on head boards, curtains dirty, couch gross on the arm rest, lobby and ice machine walk ways and floors had dirt and trash. Also, the bathroom is quite small. Trying to shower my kids was hard because the door hits the toilet when it opens and there is no standing room. Over all I would stay again depending on the price. I did not check out the pool or gym. It was only a one night stay. I had no issues with hot water.

The location is excellent, shopping and restaurants are convenient nearby, and it's a half-hour drive from the airport. The facilities are a little old, but the service is OK. The breakfast is free and self-service, which is not bad.

The location is convenient and quiet, the room is suitable for business trips, it is spacious and comfortable, clean and hygienic, and the breakfast is delicious.
