I was traveling for work and stayed at this hotel this week. Not only was the service impeccable, but my room was top notch. It was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. My favorite part was visiting the onsite speakeasy, The Vault. It was a cool experience. My only negative was having to wait for valet service for 20 minutes upon my arrival but it was on Cavaliers game day. The hotel was just a block away from the Guardians and Cavaliers stadiums.

I love everything Marriott. It’s my choice of hotels. So, when I had to make a trip to Cleveland clinic, I knew I wanted to find one close by in a good location. When choosing this Marriott it was fairly close to the hospital and attractions. When I arrived I was greeted by great staff and valet. It was a bit of a wait to check in due to their computers being down. I used half point on this stay. We were in a Deluxe king room. We were put in a corner room with a terrible view. When we walked in, it was nothing I expected. For the price this hotel charges per night I’ve stayed in nicer Marriotts in West Virginia ( no offense). We made do with what it was, but when we turned the TV on all that offered was basic cable. What hotel only offers cable? Seeing we had early appointments, all we wanted to do was rent a movie and go to bed. Which we couldn’t even do. The drapes were stained and gross, it honestly reminded me of a cheesy Las Vegas hotel that was way over priced. The morning was extremely loud with construction. We had a terrible night sleep. Not only did I waste my points on this, it just wasn’t what it was made out to be. If you want to charge your rate I highly recommend updating and when people use points, maybe putting them in a better room.

Awesome hotel. Wish the valet park was a but less but whatever. Hotel itself is very nice. Huge rooms and very clean. Dog friendly hotel. Had a few pups in elevators with us so that was surprising at first. Great location also as we walked to many bars and food spots.

This hotel redefines serenity and luxury. Nestled in a picturesque location, it offers an oasis of tranquility. The spa services were heavenly, and the infinity pool was like a dream. The attention to detail in every aspect, from the room decor to the landscaping, was impeccable. A true gem!

My niece had her wedding here in early October. This place is upscale and very nice. She had planned the ceremony outside in the rooftop bar, but Cleveland weather brought rain and wind, so we ended up inside instead. The staff was very accommodating and flexible with the arrangements. The food at the banquet was quite good, and the labyrinth of bars inside the old bank vaults on the lower level is interesting. We did not stay in the hotel (too $$) but I heard the rooms were nice. I remember when I was in college at Cleveland State that this was an actual bank office building for Cleveland Trust. The transformation into a hotel is fascinating. The original 1906 bank building next door with an amazing rotunda is now a Heinen's supermarket.

Love the complimentary water. Room felt great and was comfy. Beautiful fire place feeling was great as well.

The hotel was wonderful with the various bars - the Ledger was great, and the vault was amazing. We had a wonderful bartender Maris(sp?) All of the staff were top notch. We had great food and drink there.

My wife and I spent one night at the hotel.
Pros:
The location of the hotel was convenient for shopping, dining, and activities. One very amazing place to shop is the Rotunda next door and the Arcade down the street. The architecture of the hotel and its rooms are beautiful. The hotel has many dining options within the hotel, and many other options within walking distance.
Cons:
There is no parking lot garage. There are several average priced parking garages/lots within walking distance, or you could choose the $42/day hotel valet option (we chose a parking garage). We had hit/miss experiences with hotel staff/service...some were very pleasant and helpful, others seemed put-off and did not even make eye contact. The room lacked any bar soap (had shampoo bottles), and did not have any coffee maker/drinks.
Summary:
Although the hotel was nice overall, we probably would not return given the cost of the room, the missing room details, and the average service.

The hotel is in a good downtown location, the rooms are nice and the food is decent. However, I do not recommend this hotel if you’re here for business and work out of your room. There isn’t a comfortable place to work. Also, there isn’t a coffee maker or microwave in the room. Definitely not set up for business clientele.
Parking is an issue as well. Valet fee is a bit overpriced at $42 a day. However, my biggest issue was the shower/bathroom. It’s literally a part of the bedroom area. No privacy at all. There isn’t a door to separate the bathroom and the bedroom. (There is a separate door for the actual toilet though.) I usually love the Autograph hotels. This one was a huge disappointment and I won’t return.

The room layout was nice, but not cleaned well. Dirty floor, dusty, dirty shower, sticky table, just not clean. Very poor workmanship and maintenance also, shower handle and head loose, cracked and broken tiles, shower door doesn’t stay closed. We wanted coffee at night and since there is no coffee maker in the room we called down to the front desk and you’d think we asked some exotic delicacy. The first request was ignored, the second call got us one cup of coffee 45 minutes later. I travel for a living and this is the first hotel that didn't have coffee in the room or lobby. My wife asked a staff member a question and he never even put his phone down to answer her. Dirty and bad service, not at all what I expect for $850 a night.
