I've stayed here multiple times before and it is usually great. My most recent stay wasn't as good. Someone in a unit near ours had a dog that was barking for hours every morning. It wasn't as loud in the main living area, but in the bedrooms near the corridor (where people were trying to sleep at 7 a.m.) it was quite disturbing. Great experience and I highly recommend it. Rooms were clean, the Inn is spacious and the extra amenities included (wine, treats, bottled water, etc.) were great! This was a convenient location for my 12 night stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was decent and had plenty of choices. My room was clean, quiet and comfortable, everything worked. The bed was super comfortable and the lounge chair in the room made my stay a very comfortable and nice one so thanks for that!

What a cool place! It got its name because teddy roosevelt stopped by on a moose hunt when it was a school. Beautiful antiques are the furnishings, and the grounds are awesome, from the fire pit to the water feature in the back. In addition, it is an easy walk to the beautiful lake and downtown. My only regret is we were driving cross country and didn’t have time to try the breakfast.

Only 7 miles from downtown, house full of beautiful art, exceptional breakfast, rooms are beautiful and super comfy. Very reasonable pricing (best in town actually). Many rooms are shared baths but their system works well. Highly recommend.
