This is our go to hotel when we want to visit the beach. 2 hour nightly happy hour with free drinks, amazing omelets made to order every morning along with a breakfast buffet. The rooms are huge and so comfy! The kids love the indoor pool. Very clean, very fun, the whole family enjoys our stay!

The room was very clean and large. The bathroom was a bit small, but got the job done fine. The staff and breakfast/evening reception are what stands out the most. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. We stayed a full week and never went without anything. I have stayed here many times over the years. This is one of the older Embassy suites properties but it is well-maintained and our rooms have always been clean and comfortable. The breakfast here is outstanding as they will make you an omelette to order. All of the staff that I have encountered have been very friendly and helpful. I really liked it here. Despite being on a very busy street, the room was quiet, a real blessing for a tired traveller. Breakfast was very good, and they had a clever idea of putting up TV screens in different areas with different programming. The staff was very nice and helpful when first arriving from a long trip. The hotel room was neat and cleaned with no odor. The great part was the bed was very comfortable and slept well. Didn't get a chance to enjoy the pool but need to adjust the noise level from the guest in the evening time. Will be back!

Was good. Would have liked more towels for our 4 person group. Children in pool were rowdy, scaring my 4 yr old. Not hotel's fault. Rooms were nice and cool, beds were warm.

Best red roof inn I'd been to. The "smell" was not bad. And I can be picky with smell. Beds were pretty good. Shower was acceptable but could do with an upgrade. But all in all for a red roof inn it was one of the better ones

Someone's stubble all around the shower head. Only 2 towels & they looked dirty. Pillows very flat. Not sure these are mattresses - maybe just planks of wood covered by a sheet!

The housekeeping could do better, we asked for extra towels we had to go up & get the old towels to get new towels. We asked for toilet paper we had to buy our own because we was on a one roll minimum. The housekeepers spent more time on the phone & hiding in the rooms instead of cleaning. My room was suppose to be ready by noon but I didn't get it until almost 2 pm. But in all it was okay.

It was good for our extended stay except my dad had reserved a first floor room because he is handicapped and when we went to check in the said they didn't have any available and the room he booked was taken. Highly recommend! Staff was so friendly and helpful! In this day and age it’s so rare so it was refreshing and memorable. Plan to bring your own ice if you need it, jerks take advantage of the free ice and clear our their machines. We stayed in the ocean view suite and the space and view was well worth the upgrade. Pool isn’t heated but in the summer time totally not an issue! No official beach walkway...

The rooms are newly renovated, and the service is alright. There is a nice pool and gym, and the hotel in general are relatively clean. The staff seem friendly, though I haven't really had contact with any of them.

Very hot throughout the whole hotel. The room was warm as well with the ac maxed out. But it's a very old hotel that hasn't been renovated in quite some time. And the AC systems have not been replaced at all the years it has been there. Friendly service. Indoor pool the room could double as a sauna.

The staff is very kind and welcoming. The maid service is great!! They are remodeling or updating but still off er an amazing price with pets allowed being a bonus. Hot water never ran out, made bed everyday, and replaced towels everyday, And cleaned rooms everyday!! We will definitely remember this place if ever in area again!

Some people whine when they stay at a budget hotel. Remember the price you paid? Deal with it. It's worth it. Outside, the hotel is shady. Exposed wires in some places, or insulation in others. Lady at the front desk was very friendly even when we ran into a situation (bed sheets and blsnket) . The blanket on one of the beds was full of pubic & human hair. Completely unacceptable. The lady came and re made both beds with all clean linen and blankets. Very satisfied.

Overall is was good for it's price. One thing I didn't like was the bed. it was a little uncomfortable.

This is one of the most, if not the most friendly staff ever seen from all the times I have visited Corpus Christie.. the front desk exceptional, the breakfast is the best breakfast in all Corpus Christie, will definitely stay there again with no problem, clean, friendly, 10 start for the way the make me feel while visiting.

Decent but really needs some remodel and care. The rooms kinda smelled (noted by 3 members of my party in 3 different rooms) and were pretty run down. Mattress needed replacing and TV remote didn't work.

This hotel had nice staff, but is in need of updates. It doesn't represent the brand well, and doesn't have good green space to receive a dog. We went swimming with our neice, and I would note the sauna was out of order.

We booked through Holiday Inn's website to stay at this hotel. But it was destroyed during the hurricane so our actual reservations were not beach front but across the street at the holiday inn express. Now, the express was fine, but HI gave no warning that the listing was changed, simply my receipt said holiday inn expres sand I could have easily booked at a cheaper property also across the street...

The staff is so friendly and inviting, helpful and informative! Beach is so close you can walk there in about 5 minutes. Breakfast might not be the best but it's a good selection and for free you can't beat it. Good coffee. The rooms are nicely updated and CLEAN. Comfy beds and pillows, and has a thermostat in the room. I would definitely recommend to a family member or friend!

Average hotel. Crack in picture on wall that was covered in blue tape. Not a big deal, just ugly. Shower curtain was stained. Dresser drawer was broken. Lobby was very nice. Everything was pretty clean. Check out at noon which was a bonus.

Wonderful gem in North Beach! My husband and I have stayed at this location several times and enjoyed it every time. Campy hotel that exudes a North Beach atmosphere of bygone days and wonderful service. Expect to be surprised by a few things. First you register outside, there is no lobby. Loved this quaint little hotel nestled right between the USS LEXINGTON and the Texas State Aquarium. Close to Hwy 181 for easy access to all of Corpus. Room was clean and inviting. View is nice! We were personally escorted to our room and then left alone. Towels and trash refreshed daily. Very nice experience!

We stayed for two nights, and this place was great. Easy walk out to the beach, the Texas State Aquarium, and the close view of the USS Lexington at night is a nice treat. Breakfast consists of stale waffles cereal and toast... Beds were comfy... Pool was pretty dirty and the hot tub is no longer there.. The fitness room is used as storage so you can forget about using it.
