Super 8 by Wyndham Cottonwood

While I expected the room quality for the price (low price and poor quality), the staff was rude and unhelpful. When trying to check in, the lobby was empty without a note and repeatedly ringing the bell did nothing. Another guest who had already checked in entered the lobby while I was waiting. She made remarks about the poor quality of the establishment. I tried to call the 800 number to get help. When the woman finally returned to the lobby, she said she was helping another guest with something that was not working in their room. I paid for breakfast as an optional add-on, and the following morning was rudely told they did not serve breakfast, and she refused to remove it from my credit card, saying that I would need to take it up with bookings. The extra charge for the non-existent breakfast made the room overpriced. I live in Cottonwood. We have other places I could have stayed at had I known they would charge me for extras that they would not provide. I definitely would not send any visiting guests here.

Room was obviously in the process of being renovated. Needed a staff member to hook up the TV, control center not working, plate missing from plug-in, unfinished work in the bathroom and an insect in the vanity area. Will not come back

Great location and the people very nice and polite. But the rooms are very old and out dated. The bathroom fans don't work. Bed was old and need replacing we would roll into middle together. I fell the price is to high for the accommodations. Also list breakfast but it's just coffee and oatmeal 😞

I've stayed at several Wyndham properties and this one is the most disappointing. They have done some remodeling outside, but not enough on the rooms. Paid for a queen size bed, it was barely a full sized matress. The Wyndham app said breakfast was included, but it is not (which is fine, but update the website). There were no hanging rods, just holes in the wall. Air conditioner was really loud and would turn on and off constantly. Definitely not worth $140 per night.

We stayed here for 1 night, we are only in town for thunder valley rally. This room cost us $270 and no breakfast. There is a sign from the beginning of covid about the safety of their staff blah blah blah.. they are using that as an excuse not to provide breakfast, they are probably saving money, they are also saving money by not upgrading their rooms or fixing the broken stuff in the rooms. For the price we payed to stay here they should provide us with McDonald's or something. Not to mention the coffee in the lobby was empty and they don't even provide real creamer. It's packaged, off brand powdered creamer. Yuck. Overall this place is terrible. We will start elsewhere next year.
