Stayed at this hotel while we explored Old Town Cottonwood for the weekend. Perfect location and very comfortable rooms. Yeah they are on the smaller side but they are nicely updated and have everything you need. Sure it’s an old building with narrow stairs but that’s part of the charm. If you want a new cookie cutter boring hotel don’t stay in old town.

Awesome location, clean rooms and super kind employees. It is a historic hotel so the spaces are very small. I was not a fan of the very steep stairs, but that is part of the historic charm. The courtyard was relaxing and we loved the Starbucks coffee machine. I would stay here, again, and definitely recommend to others.

Conveniently located in old town near all the shops, wineries, and restaurants. The rooms are clean and fresh and renovated without losing their charm. The receptionist was very friendly and kinda weird, but in a good way. The beds were freshly made and everything in the room was super clean. Their little coffee station next to the ice machine is the amenity i didnt know i needed.

Bottom line: If you are visiting Sedona and want an inexpensive location 15 minutes away, this is perfect. Gotta love the doofuses who whine and cry ... Good Grief, it's not the Ritz-Carlton. It's a clean room and a bed on a property managed by good, friendly people.

This place is amazing, the staff is always friendly, we love the penthouse. This is the second time we have stayed there. Cannot wait to come back. A very romantic get away. Great for the family, and close to everything. We love how we can just go out and walk downtown. A+++++++++++++

Great, central location in Cottonwood. Room was ready on arrival and was exceptionally clean, large and nicely appointed. Parking was always plentiful. Front desk folks pleasant. We appreciated the breakfast coupons and welcome drink. Definitely would stay here again!

This is my second time staying here. The cabin is so cozy and cute! The beds are comfortable and the shower is lovely! I can't say enough about the staff!!! We called and ask for a fan, to sleep with, and they brought it to us. What a life saver!!! I love Cottonwood!

Going to Cottonwood for a weekend? You need to stay at the Tavern Hotel. It is in old town, so it is close to all the fun stuff, and the great restaurants! The rooms are beautiful and comfortable with a modern feel. The bathrooms are outstanding with a nice walk in shower. It is quiet, and a great staff who is friendly and very helpful!

in our case, a valuable thing is that the property has beautiful trails right around the corner, for both hiking and trail running, also Mountain biking. Star gazing is also posible outside the compound.

This hotel is in an amazing location. The mountains made of red are spectacular in size and grandeur. I feel I am in the mountains with the gods. Anyway, Courtyard was a decent stay. I was able to spend 20k less points at the Residence Inn next door and the room is bigger with a kitchen. You lose the balcony though…but we were barely inside.

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the courtyard Sedona. The rooms were very spacious and very clean. We did have some rowdy guests in the room next door and the staff promptly took care of the situation. We also had a drink and some food at the bar and the service was very good. This hotel was a great option to be away from the busy downtown Sedona area. Overall a great experience.

Very comfortable and beautiful hotel! It's a drive to uptown Sedona but a very short one. There is a beautiful view of the rocks and surrounding area - even an observation deck where you can sit and enjoy a drink and the view at the same time. There are outside firepits and a nice pool, both good for family hangouts. It's a bit pricey but you definitely get what you pay for.

Villas recently remodeled with new carpet, furniture & paint making it a much better experience. The biggest complaint about the property is that the 2br units only have 1.5 baths making it difficult to share with non-family members. On the positive side, the property is kept very clean and quiet. The gas BBQs are scrubbed every morning keeping them sparkling clean.

The concierge was simply awesome. He helped us plan the trip well and had great insights about the surrounding areas. They have a nice pool and Golf area (Golf was closed during our visit). They have a decent in-house restaurant as well. Only problem was that we had a tough time getting the room service to change our sheets as the housekeeping lady did not understand English.

Really disappointed actually. We have stayed in nicer places. The mattress on one bed was really concave and you had to hang on the sides unless you didn't mind rolling into the middle.
