I didn’t know about breakfast, if there was as one. My original room had no water in the shower so that was disappointing after a sandy time on the beach. We moved and the 2nd room was very lovely. Clean, nice bed and fully stocked kitchen. The air conditioners are a little loud but worked well. I will likely book that room-622- again 😊. Thank you for a gorgeous getaway!

My sister and I every few years will book a room in this lodge. These are privately owned and they rent out certain rooms throughout the year. The guest service is above and beyond. This location specializes in being right in the dune with an awesome view. However it does seem to be lacking after that. It’s an older hotel. The room we were in was recently done over but they removed the stove and sink. They put a tiny 8” round sink and a small cook plate. Just making eggs and bacon is going to be Difficult. Great location. It was private and romantic. We loved seeing all the dogs people brought. The private entrance to the beach was fantastic and convenient. Only downfall in my opinion is that the pool closes at 8pm. *edit - after seeing the owners response about the pool, that makes sense & I fully support that. Important things to know about Beacher's are that it's on the beach, the people at the desk are really friendly as are the people servicing the rooms, you absolutely should not stay here if you don't love dogs and that this is a comfortable place not a fancy place. I loved my stay here so much! It's very natural with lots of lizards, bunnies and turtles on the property. It's a little oasis. The beach is right there and very beautiful. They also provide beach chairs and boogie boards. The kitchen is well stocked but you do need to bring your own coffee. I wish more of the Florida coast was preserved like this place!

Can’t say enough about this place. We’ve stayed here 4 times and wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting St Augustine. Quaint, quiet, wildlife, beautiful walk to the beach… what more could you want! Property managers are very nice and very accommodating. If you are thinking about visiting the area I definitely recommend staying here.

I highly recommend Silver Sands for any type of travel to the area. Even with severe storms and power outages for two days of my stay it was spectacular! The office assistant Betty was very personable and friendly. I really enjoyed our laughs while we were without power. Lanterns were supplied and additional outdoor lighting without even asking. Our family loved staying here at Kemp Cottage. It is brand new inside with clean, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing furniture. The kitchen, bath and laundry are really good sized and well-stocked with everything you'd need during your stay. Wonderful time! They supply everything you need for the beach! Very clean - huge shower. Nice to have a fridge and full kitchen for convenience of staying in. The manager was so nice and helpful! They even keep cooled bottled waters on hand for your stay. The beach is lovely too.
