My family and I recently attended a bridal shower at the Adolphus, and I must commend the outstanding service provided by 'Captain' Connie in The French Room and Pedro along with the rest of the staff. Their professionalism and attention to detail truly made the event memorable. My mother stayed in one of the suites and raved about how awesome it was! Pedro provided excellent service during our stay. Highly recommend staying here!

I got married in Dallas a few weeks ago and had the pleasure of having a bridal shower hosted by my mom and maid of honor in the French
Room at The Adolphus.

We were drawn to the venue because of its elegance and beauty, however the service the staff provided from beginning to end stole the show.

We booked the venue over a year in advance and the communication we received from Hallie was always prompt and thorough and she was quick to accommodate any requests we made.

On the day of, we were served by Connie and her team in The French Room. Connie was so, so kind, and her service was attentive but never intrusive which allowed my guests to enjoy great conversation throughout the afternoon. We never wanted for anything, and Connie and her team made sure we had an amazing time.

Finally, my mom had a great experience under Pedro’s watchful eye during her stay — her and her friends were able to enjoy an impromptu morning brunch thanks to him!

At the end of the day, there is no shortage of places to stay in Dallas, but there’s a reason people (like us!) pick The Adolphus. If you’re celebrating anything that requires attention to detail, reliable staff, or just want a stress-free stay, this is your place. My now husband and I are counting down the days until we can get away for the weekend to come back.

I would rate our overall stay - 4.75 stars.
We had a one night stay for the Texas/OU game. We arrived late AM and we were fortunate our room was available early. Not sure if it makes a difference but we have Titanium status. It was a busy weekend with many traveling in for the game.

Our room was upgraded to a 2 King Suite on the top floor. The room was quite large but I would call it a larger 2 King room vs a suite. The room while it was fine - was just a large hotel room. The room was clean and was perfect for our one night stay.

We used the valet and had no issue - it is $60/day but you’re in the city so seems about right.

Everyone at check in was very nice and got us checked in quickly. You do get a one time $25 F&B credit which we used towards drinks at the City Hall restaurant. We also had an app and drinks at the Rodeo Bar which was good.

The hotel is lobby bar and sitting areas are very nice. We would definitely stay there again.

My five-day stay at the Adolphus for my daughter's wedding was memorable. The bridal shower in The French Room surpassed our expectations, thanks to the exceptional service led by "Captain Connie." Pedro was an exemplary host throughout, adeptly managing numerous last-minute requests and transportation needs. Post-wedding, I chose to extend my stay to host friends in my suite. The brunch provided by Pedro and his team was excellent, marked by delightful and considerate touches. The visit concluded with a spa day, where Melissa's outstanding service was enhanced by several gift baskets she suggested, prepared by Victoria for my return to Chicago. It was an extraordinary visit, and I am eager to return on my next Dallas trip. Thank you!

My wife and another couple friends of ours stayed at Adolphus for the first time. This is truly a 5 star hotel in every sense of this outstanding rating of a hotel. First, I have to commend their entire staff who are well trained in their jobs and genuinely interested in their guests. Jenna, Thanh and Nigel were fantastic and very friendly. The amazing care and hospitality was felt from the moment of arrival to the last seconds of departure at valet parking. Upon return, I realized that there was a minor discrepancy in our invoice and called the hotel's direct phone which they answered after the second ring. Taryn understood my concern and addressed it in the most professional manner which is such a compliment to her and the management at Adolphus. Visiting the historic building in which this beautiful hotel resides makes the trip worth while. Decoration and lighting inside is impressive and rooms are freshly renovated with comfortable beds. BF at the hotel was excellent and we enjoyed the high tea at their beautiful historic room. My wife and I can't compliment this hotel and its staff enough to justify our experience. We will never stay elsewhere when we are in Dallas.

Our stay at The Adolphus was amazing! My wife and I absolutely loved it. The hotel has a historic, classic vibe. Every staff member we encountered was helpful and pleasant. The bar/lobby area was cozy with unique, comfortable seating for groups to relax and converse. The rooms were spacious and well kept. The price point was reasonable considering the downtown Dallas location - there's plenty within walking distance. Highly recommended!

When Hurricane Harvey hit Houston, we evacuated to Dallas and came here. I was out of town on business and arranged for the travel for my girlfriend and the dogs. They would get there one day before me. I set up the reservation and called the hotel with the request to let me pay for everything online which they did. They could not of been nicer, especially when my girlfriend arrived. The valet attendants were very helpful in getting her, the two dogs and the luggage inside and into the room. The front desk was expecting her and got her checked in without any problems. The room was perfect and the service throughout our stay was stellar. Top marks all around. It has a beautiful lobby as well. Highly recommended.

I guess third times a charm!!! This visit we received a different room, no pole in the middle of the room this time. The room was gorgeous with 2 huge king beds, a wet bar, couch, "L" shaped comfortable couch and a beautiful bathroom. I absolutely loved the shower and the beds were like sleeping in heaven! The staff was SUPER great to us also. Expect to pay around $32/night for Valet parking if you use them however, there is a parking garage nearby that has cheaper rates but its a couple blocks down.

Bottom line, I will definitely stay here again the next time we have to go to an event at the convention center, its about a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel and very convenient to a lot of good restaurants in the area.

The Adolphus is situated in a great location central to a lot of downtown Dallas. The staff is friendly and the rooms have been renovated. They've kept a lot of the early 1900s charm, although that includes the tiny, scary, antique elevators. There were a few issues... Dirty shower floor, broken phone, no microwave in the rooms. Still, a decent stay.
