Hilton Garden Inn Daytona Beach Oceanfront

We met a lovely women Shelly in the restaurant, Shelly was an amazing person ! 😍🥰

Location is a plus point . Walking arcade.
Beachfront ocean view property.

The pool wasn’t that clean because of beach sand. The hot tub closed.

Overall we had pleasant stay. Though the housekeeping cleaned the room quite late in the day despite repeated checks.

Breakfast options were good for a one time meal.

Coming back or not - not sure.

Not a bad place to stay. Rooms are big and comfy bed and pillows. Plenty of parking. Plenty of bath towels. Front desk were friendly and accommodating. We stayed for our family gathering and grand daughters birthday. When booking we did not see that the pool area was roped off and apparently storm damage that has still not been repaired. You can still use the pool and hot tub but how hard is it to replace glass or some kind of metal barriers so that you don't fall off the pool deck. Plus the bar at the pool was closed. WHY. No pool towels, no trash can located close to pool area. Then it was roped off to get to the parking lot. Hopefully the hotel will get damaged pool area corrected quickly. Other then that it gets a 3 star!

The location is okay. It is right on the beach and for a few extra dollars you can have a beachfront room. I love the beach so I always think that's worth it. The cleanliness is good but the staff isn't the friendliest. They seem to just keep out of your way and some people like that, I prefer smiles and hellos. The rooms are large and comfortable. My only complaint is that the area where the tile meets the carpet has some tacks poking through a bit that I keep stepping on. Ouch! As far as the amenities in the area, I found it lacking. I have to drive a bit to get to any food I like. Most of the things that are close are either being renovated or a couple of the typical chains. You can walk across the street trip get to Walgreens, so that a plus. Beach was awesome. Umbrella rentals were available. And the rooms smell very good.
