Great atmosphere! Stayed there for business week, and solely ate at newtons lounge. Bar staff was really nice greeting me personally every time I ate. Also surprised how involved restaurant manager was. He was always available if I had any minor issues. I think his name was Paul. He had everything running smoothly. Room was nice and front desk helpful. Overall clean hotel.

I have nothing but praise for this Marriott Property! I showed up after being booked by the marriott reservation hotline at the overbooked delta across the highway. That being said, I was rebooked here and that was a blessing in disguise! Staff was VERY welcoming and friendly. I believe her name was Christine, she was very attentive and helpful to a band that had arrived tired and half asleep to the property. That being said the staff here provided excellent service. To my dismay, I left my iPad at this property and I called back urgently as I was standing in line at airport security. They quickly had my iPad ready to pick up at the lobby and provided and smooth, seamless and amazing stay! This property is definitely A1! Also, rooms are updated, clean and provide an excellent nights rest!

The rooms need deep cleaning and upgrades. There were holes in the wall. Bathroom back of door and back splash need CLEANED!
Be aware that they are charging $10 p/d to park your car. They didn't even ask for make or model, just making an extra buck with no parking lot security. The front desk person was rude when we questioned it.
Elevator had a rancid smell to it.
Overall quality is not much for the exorbitant price.

This was a very nice hotel - all of the people working there were friendly and helpful. Our family went for a work trip and my children were able to enjoy the pool all day, all to themselves.
The bar/restaurant area in the lobby is modern and vibrant, the convenience area near the front desk is well stocked with snacks and drinks for purchase.
My only complaint (and note for families) - the bathroom door in the guest rooms doesn’t lock. It is sliding barn-door style and there’s no way to secure it. This isn’t a problem for most of their clientele - from what I can tell it’s mostly business people on work trips. However, if you’re traveling with a family that can present come challenges. The rooms are on the small size but they use all the space effectively. If I had a reason to be in this area again I would come back.

Beware, Overall disappointment . Marriott Raleigh Durham Research Triangle Park North Carolina -I booked 2 roooms one for my son and girl friend and one for my husband and I. My son’s room had dirty blood stained sheets (pic below) and we immediately requested another room. The bathroom door was exactly the same as our room. There is no latch and even if you slam the door it does not stay shut, it just slides open. Needless to say , no bathroom privacy. Bathroom wasn’t stocked. I had to go to the front desk to get soap.
We were put in an allergy free room (as an upgrade) but they have the worst scented products in the shower. Kind of defeats the purpose for a person with allergies and not healthy. Btw, the claim to the allergy free room is an air purifier that constantly runs and is noisy, not really an upgrade except the fact that our room didn’t smell as bad as my son’s room. Overall the rooms are not clean, old, uncomfortable and need updating . Very disappointing and a $20 coupon for the bar does not make up for our horrible stay. The staff even said they are renovating and to check back in about 8 months. Should have told me before booking so I had a choice . I am posting this as a google review since the Marriott did not send me a review request. I wonder why.

location and the friendly staff exceptional service. the jacuzzi was amazingly clean and relaxing. The hotel is a 10 Plus Plus The only location I’d recommend to friends family and coworkers.

Wish there were more places to eat nearby. I've noticed everything in RTP is pretty spread out. Both McDonald's and Burger King close by if you need a quick bite.
A few nice restaurants/bars nearby (Page Road Grill or Mez) which work if you're only here for a week.

I love to stay at this Marriott property whenever I am in the Raleigh/Durham area. The facility is very clean and well maintained. The staff is just the best! Very friendly and accommodating. Can't wait until my next stay!

I loved the atmosphere. It's kind of an old hotel but still up to date. I enjoyed the in house pool and jacuzzi. I think we might visit again but perhaps another branch of Marriott.
For breakfast, the lady on duty seemed to be rushing me, she kind of unfriendly. 🤫
