Excellent staff and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning is the best I have seen. They even have a bar inside the hotel. Great place to stay. The staff again is fantastic they always are there to assist. Thanks for taking care of me during my stay.

the room was clean and big, the best part of the hotel is the staff. they are extremely friendly, caring and kind. they were always willing to help out. the hotel provides free breakfast option and the free shuttle to the airport is highly appreciated as getting a cab is definitely an issue in the area.

This is a fairly run of the mill chain hotel. The rooms were adequate but you could see where some of the construction was shoddy with pretty basic rooms, features, and amenities. The hotel has sufficient parking and is conveniently located. There is an adequate fitness center and pool, as well as a decent hotel bar and restaurant that are open until 10p and 11p respectively (at least in the summer...

Room is big and clean, quiet place. Breakfast has more choice. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Personally, I would like to thank to the lady at front desk that helped me for my daughter forgot backpack in her room. I don't know her name but my stay was on May 19-20, 2022. Definitely, I will recommend to all my friends for next trip.

The hotel was nice, but they need more variety of food for breakfast and a more variety for lunch and dinner other than hamburgers fish and fries and wings I even asked him could they put the steak and he said no cuz I need a special type of frying pan when it's going to run a restaurant in hotel they need more variety of food

I stayed here for work and because it was pet friendly. The first 4 nights (M-Th) were 100% ok and pleasant. If my whole stay were that way this would have been at least 4 star. The staff were *really* nice and down to earth and welcoming to me and my 2 pups and it felt like home. It's easy to walk to the court building behind the hotel and let pups play on the grass. This should be a better hotel for the price. Location is convenient. It's very clean and has basic amenities. The rooms are large. Front desk staff are polite and responive. However, the wifi is iffy. The hot water takes forever to come on. The breakfast Nazis are in full force. Show up at 8am when they close at 9am and they will be out of most everything and struggling to fix the pancake machines...

I know that the hotel is a very basic one, but the customer service is 5 star rated. The rooms were spacious, but very simple and bare minimum. It's right off a main road so there's easy access to everywhere else. I've been here a few times and the staff is always friendly. There's a restaurant downstairs and quite a few more within walking distance. The look of the hotel could be updated, but it's always clean and comfortable with coffee in the room, too. Amazing staff!! I've been going here for years and have seen changes here and there. Recently they got a new owner. The new owner renovated the entire place. It's cozy, quiet, and has a wonderful family atmosphere. I love the idea of parking right outside my room. Recommend!!

The owner/staff really cares for its guests. This is evident in the quality items not just inside the rooms but also the breakfast that is provided with the stay! It is a clean, friendly and safe place to stay and close to the grocery store and the airport.

5 stars, hotel in a great location, staff was friendly and welcoming, the building was a little on the older side but very well taken care of. Walls were thin but it’s a hotel so what do you expect. All in all the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Fairbanks.

What an awesome experience at the Golden North Inn. We came in to Fairbanks from Caribou hunting, and we’re welcomed with a super friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and an awesome shower. All of the staff we interacted with were awesome, from front desk, cleaning and owner were all awesome. The use of a freezer space to freeze game meat before leaving, prepping our gear from the flight...

The entire staff treated my son, friends, and me with respect and generosity. We had been in the backcountry and were a little worse for wear, and the staff sensed our need for a little extra pampering and provided much-appreciated service and patience. I highly recommend staying here if you are seeking a comfortable, clean, budget-friendly place to stay.

We liked it so much that we're gonna stay there again in about three weeks or less when we go up from Anchorage on the 13th of March!

We had a wonderful time! The hostess was very hospitable and alerted us when the Northern lights were out. We were able to see them twice!

I can't speak for the Moose Lodge but I used to live in this house before it was a lodge in the apartment down stairs and I loved it. Quiet and peaceful. I've visited my landlord upstairs and it was nice back then but now looks like it's been renovated quite nicely now.

I've never stayed here, especially since I live just up the hill from it, but I was running by it this morning and noticed the sign, and thought I would just chime in and say that it's definitely on a very nice, quiet road. It's part of one of my favourite morning runs, and I just happened to notice the "Moose Lodge" sign out there this morning.

This was a super nice place to stay! The house was clean, the yard was beautiful and a great place to chat. The beds were good and the pillows were awesome! That's the real test for me is the pillows. So these lived up to my expectations of a pillow. The room was secure and I felt very safe there. It was easy to find and only a 5 min walk to Big Daddy's BBQ which is amazing!!

Stayed overnight in June between an evening airport arrival and a morning train. Good cost effective lodging with good location near downtown for myself and 2x co-travelers to get a night's sleep. Its a hostel experience with guests coming and going at various hours, but host was friendly, it was clean and comfortable, and other guests during our stay were quiet, respectful, and friendly. First time to stay in a hostel. Won't be the last. This place is great. Very inviting and friendly. Cho is a great host. The others staying here vary greatly, all good people with great stories. I'm traveling on my motorcycle and even have a garage to keep it in. Not sure if I'll ever be back up here from Texas, but if I am, this is where I'll be staying.

I stayed at the hostel and would recommend it to everyone. I looked at others and wasn't impressed with their setup. the most important thing for me about hostels is cleanliness and friendliness. *close to down town (2 minute walk) * clean new organized home. very chic *close to airport host is very helpful and willing to take care of you and will make you feel like you're at home.
