North Cliff Hotel

What a lovely hotel.
Our Fort Bragg plan was a last min one after our original plans got cancelled due to a fire.
We were desperate for a decent hotel and thankfully there was a room available at North Cliff. It was so much more than we expected!
The rooms were clean, well equipped and the view...oh man, the view eased all our stress. The breakfast was good (a bit on the sugary side, but still good), the service was excellent. In all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We wanted to stay longer, but they were fully booked.

Wonderful dog friendly accommodations and really enjoyed our suite with 2-person bath tub with view of the ocean. It's also right next to an off-leash dog area so it was fun to walk around. Can't wait to come back. Very reasonably priced for a Saturday evening. I'm really surprised to see some people rating this hotel poorly! It's a delight!

The North Cliff is a great hotel for people traveling with dogs. We booked last minute due to another place NOT living up to expectations of reviews and pictures online so we were a litle wary BUT this hotel was perfect! The rooms are huge, the view is spectacular and the staff was friendly and responsive. They offer great continental breakfast with hearty breakfast sandwiches, fruit, muffins, crossiants, yogurt, coffee and juice. There was a cute little bed provided for our dogs and a mat with bowls for water and food for our dogs. Great touch for traveling pet families! The building was quiet and comfortable which is helpful when you have pet companions. We hae stayed other places with pets and the noise from the hallways and traffic of other guests made our dogs nervous but the set up of this place was perfect. We loved the little sitting area with a fireplace in our room and was conveniently located. The one thing I will note for those who might be temperature sensitive, the room was warm for us but opening the patio cooled it off quickly. Because of the climate, they do not have AC and probably don't need it but for those who run really hot, just be aware. Our whole family runs hot but we were comfortable and had no problem. If you are someone who runs old, this is the place for you! We turned on the fireplace it got hot quickly. We opened the sliding glass door and were able to keep the temperature cool Make you check out the swings on the right side of the building as it is a great place to catch the sunset. We will be back!

Great hotel with incredible views and friendly staff. The one downside was the fog horn every 30 seconds if you leave the slider door open, but North Cliff provides ear plugs for that if you need them. Will definitely be staying there again.

Nice hotel, friendly staff and large rooms with a lot of amenities. We loved de hot tub in the room, with a view over de sea. Attentive were the wine glasses and bottle opener, since you are in wine country after all. One little downside : noise. Walls are not exactly soundproof, and outside is a constant sound of a mist horn, which kind of spoils the fun of sitting outside on the terrace, sipping a wonderful California glass of wine.

Location and views are fantastic, staff is excellent, breakfast great, location is so good!! (Everything touristy in a 5 mile radius). I would definitely come here again, and highly recommend this place!
