Surf and Sand Lodge
Fort Bragg, 1131 North Main Street 🧭 Map
Nice little hotel, came during the winter staff was nice, room were clean and comfortable but a bit dated.
Staff was very friendly, and the room was very cozy and clean. 3 minute walk down to the beach from our room. Incredible view. Would recommend staying here.
This place is awesome! Where to begin? Dog friendly and the rooms are spacious and clean. Microwave, fridge and DirectTV with hundreds of channels. Our room had a balcony facing the ocean and we were mere steps from a beautiful walking trail. 5 minutes from this quaint little Inn and your standing on the beach! We literally cannot wait to visit again!
This is the second time we have stayed at the Surf and Sand Lodge. Both times were absolutely great! This time, we brought our puppy with us and the hotel was very accommodating. They gave us some special sheets and towels and told us that it's OK to mess them up if necessary. They came in very handy. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room? It was very comfortable and clean.. But we stayed...
Magical place on our road trip from Seattle to San Fran. It is just outside Fort Bragg which is not particularly pretty. But the hotel is on a bluff and has wonderful walks and bike trail and beautiful views of the coast lines if it is not foggy. I was lucky to capture a few really nice shots during the brief hours of sunshine. The room is simple but comfy. Make sure to get an ocean facing...
Clean, spacious and well appointed room. Nicely decorated. Terrific view of the shoreline and the ocean from our balcony. Our host was friendly and helpful. The sounds of the ocean and the viewing of it is so peaceful. Easy beach access. Fort Bragg is quaint and enjoyable.

What a lovely hotel.
Our Fort Bragg plan was a last min one after our original plans got cancelled due to a fire.
We were desperate for a decent hotel and thankfully there was a room available at North Cliff. It was so much more than we expected!
The rooms were clean, well equipped and the view...oh man, the view eased all our stress. The breakfast was good (a bit on the sugary side, but still good...
Wonderful dog friendly accommodations and really enjoyed our suite with 2-person bath tub with view of the ocean. It's also right next to an off-leash dog area so it was fun to walk around. Can't wait to come back. Very reasonably priced for a Saturday evening. I'm really surprised to see some people rating this hotel poorly! It's a delight!
The North Cliff is a great hotel for people traveling with dogs. We booked last minute due to another place NOT living up to expectations of reviews and pictures online so we were a litle wary BUT this hotel was perfect! The rooms are huge, the view is spectacular and the staff was friendly and responsive. They offer great continental breakfast with hearty breakfast sandwiches, fruit, muffins, crossiants...
We booked our trip for Sunday Monday night ! The room was roomy and nice !
Views of the ocean are correct . The only complaint was the hotel has no Ac ! They provide a box fan but the sun sets on the back side , ocean side of hotel . The jetted tub was nice . I think we just booked this trip thinking it would be cooler . We will probably book again during the winter months . Front office the staff...
Great hotel with incredible views and friendly staff. The one downside was the fog horn every 30 seconds if you leave the slider door open, but North Cliff provides ear plugs for that if you need them. Will definitely be staying there again.
Rooms are very nice! The view and the sound of the ocean are won’t. If you want a bathtub reserve a room with a spa. Other, you’ll get a shower - no tub.

Emerald Dolphin Inn & Mini Golf
Fort Bragg, 1211 South Main Street 🧭 Map
A nice convenient location with a large enough room for a family of 4. The reception staff were welcoming and very helpful with hints and ideas for sightseeing around Fort Bragg and northern California.
Hotel is accompanied by complementary miniature golf (if booked directly). There is an arcade too. As it was raining, we didn't play golf. Clean rooms, limited breakfast (pastries, muffins, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate). Area is spectacular. Various restaurants just down the street and across (David's is very good for breakfast and lunch only). McDonald's also adjacent.
Very nice welcoming staff member. Room was comfortable and nicely furnished in marine themed decor. Ours had a animated fireplace which was still romantic and really cool. We didn't play mini-golf due to a wet marine layer. It still looked inviting.Easy access from the main highway.
Will return.
Thank you ❤️
Janet & David
The room was clean. Ready early. It's an updated property but not what we expected for a $200 room.
Staff was friendly and aimed to please.
Nicely located up the street from a great beach.
Mini Golf on grounds but we didn't have time to play the complimentary round.
Overall a good place to stay.
Lovely Inn. Older and perfectly maintained. No breakfast in the morning but packs of mini muffins & granola bars were available in the office/lobby. Our room was apparently double queens or full beds before last night? There is a double light fixture on the wall and properly fixed for the nightstand below. The far side of the king bed had no table or light😏 not a big issue for us, road trip, passing...
We made reservations months in advance for the Fourth of July and asked for a specific room on the first floor because my wife is handicap long story short they gave the room to someone else maybe family or friend anyways we were told that our room was up stairs . We stay there a lot well used to the lady that owns the place came out and said I’m the owner and I do what I want I can move anyone I want...

Glass Beach Inn
Fort Bragg, 726 North Main St 🧭 Map
This bed and breakfast had a same-day vacancy to save my vacation and also provided a discount. The owners are the sweetest folks, the room was cozy and clean, and the breakfast the following morning was delicious. Couldn't have asked for a better experience and definitely recommend.
Quaint. Peaceful weekend getaway. Walking distance to glass beach and to north coast brewery. Rooms were country theme and clean. Stay included breakfast and coffee which was good as well! Worth the drive!
Such a sweet b&b. We've stayed here twice and both times were wonderful. It's a nice walk to Glass Beach. The couple who runs it is so sweet and friendly, and their breakfast is so good! The photos on their website are not up-to-date, the rooms are really very cute and charming! I highly recommend staying here.

Lovely, quaint, comfy, clean place. Tasty breakfast prepared by owners, Nancy & Richard who are friendly, kind, welcoming hosts. Will definitely stay here again & recommend to others.
Was a great room and the people in charge were very friendly. The food was great at breakfast and was a great experience

Country Inn Guesthouse
Fort Bragg, 632 North Main Street 🧭 Map
Accessible, quirky, personal touches all
around, easy check in no contact, good mattress, cozy room, had everything we needed- nice fireplace!
Cute BnB with good Covid protocols. We stayed in Granny’s Attic which lives up to its name. It had all we needed for our stay and had a nice long claw foot tub to soak in. It’s located walking distance to all of the shops of downtown and easy access to glass beach.
Very cool lodging were you can sit, drink coffee and talk to the chickens before their bedtime. Wish we had two nights instead of just the one. The room we ended up with was awesome and Christine was a very good hostess. We'll definitely be back!
By far the best Bed and breakfast I've ever stayed in. Our room was absolutely immaculate with zero dust anywhere.we stayed in the autumn song room for two wonderful nights. The room was surprisingly spacious. Extra comfy bed big bathroom with plenty of hot water for showers. Beautiful antique style decor adorns every inch of the room. The breakfast was delicious! Extravagant breakfast made with love...
Very nice first-time experience here. We would definitely come back. The hosts were very helpful and not at all intrusive. You felt like you had your space, but could easily approach them if you needed anything at all. Breakfasts were delicious, the bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed the amusement of seeing their chickens strolling around the premises. No a/c, but a decent-sized fan was...
Located just a few blocks away from the downtown area of Fort Bragg. Very convenient location with easy parking in the back and out front by the street. Everyone here was extremely welcoming and hospitable. The hot tub area was the star of the place, located in a small private and outdoor area of the inn. Also, check out the chickens, are they pretty cool and provide the eggs that you eat for breakfast

The Redwood Coast Inn
Fort Bragg, 615 North Main Street 🧭 Map
This place has a lovely innkeeper and she made our stay very pleasant. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. It used to be a hospital and they have done so far a unique recreation making it an inn. The coffee in the morning was exceptional.
This was such an awesome place to stay in Fort Bragg! The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Walking distance to the beach and to a lot of resturants and little shops.
The inn keeper was very helpful and showed us our room and the hotel. She even gave us reccomendations for places to eat and things to do! Would absolutely stay here again!
Really enjoyed my stay. Large, comfortable, charming rooms. Neat older style architecture. Staff were friendly and helpful. A good central location in town if you'd like to walk to Glass Beach or some of the better restaurants and bars. In spite of the central location, noise level was low and I slept very well. Will definitely look them up next time I tour up the coast.
This place is a bit quirky, but overall we really enjoyed our stay. We stayed on the top floor and the view from the patio was great. We had a perfect view of the sunset. It took several stairs and ramps to get to our room so you should keep that in mind if have any trouble walking. Ft. Bragg and neaby Mendocino are really fun and peaceful places to visit and the Grey Whale Inn was a good place to...
Authentic & unique. If your looking for a 5 star hotel, this is not it.. as its in a class of its own. New owners, needs some fixing up, filled with history (was a hospital from the early 1900s), close to everything from ocean to restaurants & interesting historical places. Fun to explore, friendly & kind staff, quiet and has fantastic views from the top floor rooms. Like a quirky place? This is it
Beautiful historic inn, close to beaches and skunk train, beautiful view, quiet rooms, comfortable beds, very strong paranormal activity for sure! Hauntingly Captivating. Two thumbs up!

The Captains Quarters
Fort Bragg, 533 E Fir St 🧭 Map
A lovely Inn - we stayed there in 2018. The hosts were absolutely wonderful, and the room was really clean and comfortable. At night, someone even played a tune on the piano.
It's a quaint property, with the ambience of a lodge - lots of wood and decorated with antique looking pieces. It's also big for a B&B. Our room on the top floor was spacious, the beds were nice, the furnishings adequate. Staff were nice.
The breakfast was the biggest disappointment. All they had were a few bread packets, a few spreads, and some oatmeal packets. Nothing fresh or hot. No fruit. Plus...
I love living light inn. Cozy, homey, historic building. Super nice staff, especially Pam who makes you feel totally welcome. Not a cookie cutter hotel but a unique place to stay if you want peace and quiet, beautiful surroundings and proximity to town.
Very comfortable stay. Room was clean, comfy bed with awesome bedding, and private bathroom. Nice natural lighting throughout the inn. Breakfast was great, lots of healthy options. The premises were filled with gardens beds and lots of outdoor seating. The overall hospitality was great! Would recommend :)
Staff was friendly and very welcoming. The Inn is beautiful (with an even more beautiful vegetable garden!) The room was very comfortable and clean. Note: there is a communal kitchen which is vegetarian (meaning they prefer that you don't heat up meat). Enjoy!
Stayed here for a month as student at Living light culinary institute. Felt like home away from home, saw many a night beautiful sunsets from my room, truly was a wonderful experience while living in Fort Brag.

Weller House Inn
Fort Bragg, 524 Stewart Street, Albion 🧭 Map
Loved this historic home and its location. Every room has a bathroom. Some of the rooms only have a tub but it wasn't a big deal. NO common toilet, so if you have someone stop by, they have to use someone's private space.
There was a serious ant infestation. Ants were in every room, bathrooms, in the dishes, on every surface in the kitchen and walls. They were everywhere - not exaggerating, it was...
What a beautiful place we stayed at. It was super cozy and everyone had a good time. It's a nice house if you have alot of people coming up with you.
We are having our wedding at the Weller House In. It is charming and old and unique and I'm really looking forward to it tomorrow!!
Absolutely stunning, a wonderful experience. The only drawback was being charged extra for a “room upgrade” the owner never told us about... Despite this, had a very romantic weekend ❤️
We dropped by for a community dance which was no longer happening but was still being advertised. After looking around we thought we might like to stay there some time. No one was around so we couldn't ask any questions.
Had a wonderful experience. Well appointed room and very comfortable. Staff is very pleasant and informative, the history of the house is wonderful, jazz dancing upstairs, the wonderful sunsets from atop the water tower, and the fresh baked goodies in the am. Making friends with the local inspector, "Perp", a friendly black cat, he is a great judge of character and may decide to visit and curl up with...
