We were happy with our stay, overall and that's why I left 5 stars. For the restaurant/buffet area, I give 1 or 2 stars, at best. This is due to the laziness and rudeness of the staff in that area. The hotel workers were all so friendly, it seemed strange that the restaurant workers were so unpleasant. Not the worst I've experienced, but can definitely improve in that area.

The guy up front was very nice. The girl at night could have dealt with mine and another couple's situation a little better. The attitude was not needed. The room was alright but did not stay cool. With the money I spent for the 3 nights you would think I would get more than 2 bottles of free water. Checked in only to leave 6 hours later. This location has a beautiful lobby and rooms. The front desk and maintenance workers were very nice. Overall the hotel seemed to be clean. Comfortable bed. Air-conditioner works. Clean facility. Highlights if breakfast were waffle bar and crispy bacon. Eggs where powdered and sausage patties tasted boiled. Have stated in nicer hotels for cheaper. However, it is comprable with area prices.

Stayed here for a week with my boyfriend and his three kids. Very clean rooms and hotel, very nice staff, great location, great pool setup ( wish the outside one was bigger), fresh cookies in the afternoon, great deals for members, and the beds were better than most hotels. I'd recommend staying here when in the area. It was close to everything we wanted to do in the area.

Great hotel super close to it all. The rooms are super clean and the staff is so sweet! You are right on the edge of Gatlinburg, so a short drive to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Our biggest tip is if you are going to the National Park, turn right out from the hotel and take your first left for the bypass to the park... Saves you a TON of traffic!

We enjoyed our stay at Laurel Point Resort. There were some amenities that did not work in the rooms such as the hair dryer or the vent in the bathroom. We really enjoyed using the fireplace and it was overall very spacious and functional at the same time.

If you ever have an opportunity to stay at this resort, don’t miss out. The units are spacious, clean, and well-decorated. The kitchens are large with wonderful utensils, appliances, dishware, and cookware. There is ample storage space for your own items. The bathrooms are generous in size and the resort provides nice towels and linens. Stayed for one week and did not want to leave!

Great view from building C 4th floor. Mountain view and safe location to watch the bears wandering through the resort. Rooms were a little dated, but clean. Shower in master bedroom was a little tight. Was told building A is better for these 2 items as they are updated/new. Personally, wouldn't trade the view I had. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

I love this place! They are rebuilding after the fires in Gatlinburg. Their attitudes are wonderful and contagious. They go out of their way to satisfy their guests.

Awesome place to stay! Our family comes up to the mountains every 4 yrs for Christmas and have stayed with Laurel Point several times! If you accommodations for a large group then Laurel Point is the way to go. We usually have close to 25 family members and have plenty of room. I'll recommend Laurel Point anytime.

Spectacular accommodations despite having to rebuild from the 2016 wildfires. Staff is courteous and extremely helpful. Perfect place if you want to get away.

Rooms were clean, bed was comfy. Location was perfect. George at front desk was a good fellow. Only reason i didn't give it 5 stars was it was dated, the hall carpet was stained and really needed replaced and the price of 1700 for a week I thought was a bit hi for what you got. No beds were made at anytime . We chose to go somewhere else next year for half the cost.

Tbh I wasn’t expected too much but I was amazed of how clean and tidy this place was. The front office lady was so friendly and the prices were not as expensive as the downtown hotels but this place was perfect for our goal, sleep that night and rest.

It was overall a good motel room for a short stay. It was a very clean room with an amazing balcony outside your room with a creek flowing behind it. However, the air is very terrible it barley cools the room, the tv is very old and doesn’t even have cable, and the bathroom is very small. Other than those issues it was an overall nice and quiet motel and the lady who checked me in was very nice!

Beautiful lodge for a fall time getaway! The lodge is quiet and quaint. The views from all the rooms are incredible. Our room was massive with a fireplace and a hot tub. The theme of the room is so perfect with everything being wood and bears. I highly recommend Buckberry for a Gatlinburg stay!

We stayed here on Veteran's Day weekend and it was a lovely experience. Brilliant views of the mountains from our room and our room had a wonderful Adirondack layout. I have read reviews of bear activities but did not encounter them on our visit (a bit disappointed to be honest 😂). It is also less than 10 minutes drive from downtown Gatlinburg. I will definitely recommend it for a nice weekend getaway

This is a beautiful place. It was quiet, with an incredible view. The suite was very roomy and clean. The host was very helpful and easy to reach. Check in and check out was very easy. Taxi sévices to town made it a snap. Be sure to pull everything out of your car, we woke up to bear paw prints on our car door. It’s was a great experience, we can’t wait to go back!!

While the wildfire in 2016 decimated all but one of the buildings, the one that remains has excellent views of the Smokies, large rooms, whirlpool tub, King bedroom and a good sized balcony. I suggest you all never stay in cottage #5. I had to leave because the water in the tub kept pouring out in the tub. Very annoying! Also, there are roaches in the room on the wall. Fridge and Microwave work just fine. Never again will I stay in another one of their cottages!

Great value. It's smaller and older, but great rates, creek-side balconies, and nice mountain views.

The staff was exceptional in every way. They went the extra mile in their efforts to make you feel as if you were a valued guest. The room was clean and well appointed. We certainly would stay here again.

We love staying here. We stay once sometimes twice a year. It is convenient to everything but without having to deal with the traffic. It's not far from the bypass which is what we always use to avoid traffic. The rooms are clean and the service is outstanding. We have never had any complaints and there are zero negatives about this property.

Old Creek lodge is conveniently located near our favorite restaurants, an easy walk up to Calhoun's, Best Italian and Smoky Mountain Brewery. All our meals were fantastic. Stayed 4/28/18. Booked this hotel spur of the moment. It was worth its price. It was quiet and we had no problems sleeping through the night. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our credit card being charged twice for the room (they said a possible mistake from our online booking crossing over into their system.) We stayed at the Big Bear Cabin. The accommodations were very quaint and very clean. The owner Reeni was very good about being available if we needed anything. The location was great. It's a short walk to the Parkway and a short drive to the park.

Fair price for the location. Easy walk to shops. Clean large room with no carpeting, which i consider a great choice. Outside seating with firepits was nice. Rooms had a nice small balcony with seating for 2 too. The check in also provided lots of access to activities to review and sign up for right there.

Nice place to stay! Room had recently been remodeled and was very cozy and clean. Owners were very nice and friendly. I asked for more towels and it wasn't two minutes they were knocking at the door with more clean towels. Easy access and you don't have to walk far from where you park to where your room is.Will definitely be staying here again when back in Gatlinburg
