This is a gorgeous place to stay. I loved the restaurant and the heated indoor water park. Very gorgeous rooms and some have very nice views. There is ongoing construction for some better amenities which gives some viewers not as pretty views but is great for the future of this place. The indoor water park can be accessible for non guests for $25 a day which is definitely worth it. We did a time share...
We came here for a visit for our sons 3rd birthday! Everything exceeded our expectations. The check in staff heard it was his birthday, and they gave him a special treat! We loved the water park and our room was nice, big, and clean! Every staff member was very welcoming! We are at the Southern Comfort restaurant twice! We had Jordan, and she was amazing! We will definitely be back!
Our stay was nice. The room was very spacious and clean. The water park was very nice and not busy at all of course that may be due to the timing of our stay 11/6-11/10. I only have 2 complaints. 1. Check-in took an hour and a half from the time I went inside and got in line and that's not including the time we sat in line in our vehicle on the road trying to get into the resort. 2. The parking situation...
So where to start? First of all, love the location. Service was OK, I had to call 5 times to get wasp nests killed, my handicapped mother asked for a bottom floor they put us on the third, there were multiple issues with appliances and the rooms which left much to be desired. The water park was tons of fun and the Southern Comfort restaurant while a tad pricey in my opinion was definitely worth...
It starts at check-in. You realize they have way too many units for the infrastructure.. You can’t find a parking place so you park 200 yards away from Check In. You go inside and see a roped off line just to check in it is loud in there. You finally get your room key then go see another concierge who gives you your parking pass again but sets up a sales meeting of an hour and a half so you can win...
We booked at Westgate through VRBO and got a really good deal. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the resort was when we got there! Everything was clean and comfortable. The full kitchen was so nice to have and the jacuzzi in the master was great! The indoor water park ended up being really awesome as well! My only complaints are that the pool temperature was way too warm and everything in the...

Great location, roomy & comfortable. Fireplace & jacuzzi in room. Very friendly at reception.
The rooms were very clean and spacious. Beautiful resort with beautiful views. Our room included gas logs, full kitchen, jetted tub, and washer/dryer. I think our only complaint if we had to give one is the TVs were on the small side. We loved that the living room and bedroom had ceiling fans!
just want to say this place is amazing. We found ourselves here after our first hotel lost our reservation and would not do anything despite having a confirmation number. A friend of mine us a vacation club member here and gifted us a night here. He called the front desk and got us a room reserved at the last minute and explained the situation to the staff. Staff at the desk was very friendly and more...
This is our second time here, and it is hands down one of the top three Holiday In Club Vacation resorts. Beautiful amenities and rooms, lots of swimming or soaking options. The rooms are very nice. You need to book early, as it fills up very quickly. We have a gigantic jacuzzi tub in our bedroom, and the view from our balcony is absolutely beautiful.
The place seems absolutely wonderful! We received a tour and discussed the "time share" that isn't a time share. Brian couldn't have been more up front, polite, and helpful! The room we were shown was a 2 bedroom 2 bath suite which was beautiful! The Marketing Agent that came over last was very pushy and when we said no was short and curt. Almost to the point of being disrespectful and rude. By no...
Truly fantastic experience from start to finish. We stayed in a one bedroom villa from Monday to Friday over Labor day week. The villa was very spacious and comfortable. Everything was perfect and very clean. Each villa includes a full kitchen, washing and drying machines. We even got $150 in free food vouchers for local restaurants. Loved Gatlinburg, The Smoky Mountains, and especially Holiday Inn...

As Always the view us incredible. Staff was exceptional nice. The gentleman who checked us in was the friendliest I have every come across. Can not remember his name, but the park vista should employ more like him
My husband and I stayed here for 3 days and loved every minute of it. Staff here are all so nice and very attentive from the minute you arrive. Our room had phenomenal views of the smokies! We loved the convenience of the trolley that comes every 15 minutes and gets you to all the attractions. When we vacation again, Double Tree has our business indefinitely.
From the first steps into the hotel, to the end of check out, I have no complaints. Ronnie was so nice, especially considering I showed up HOURS before check in time. He gave me a call when a room was ready for early check in. He also let me draw a slip of paper out of the silver bucket , and I received a free appetizer from the restaurant! (I ordered garlic Parmesan wings and they were yummy). The...
Hidden gem in the Smokies! Beds were comfortable, loved the dispensed shampoo, conditioner and shower gels in the shower, asked for extra towels and pillows and were promptly delivered to the room. Front desk staff were friendly and very helpful with trolley arrival info. Firefly’s lounge bartender was awesome. Piano player was absolutely AWESOME! Pool was perfect for all of our family member...
We always stay in a Double Tree for our anniversary and this one was not up to par with the 7 other ones we've stayed at in OK and surrounding states. Yes, it's the biggest but there is no decor, the beds were uncomfortable, no microwave in the room. We had to ask for trash bags because there were none in the room. Looking up and down the floor levels made it seem almost like a prison due to no decor...
This is a fantastic hotel to stay at. Although its a little outdated I think that adds to the charm. The view is great! Room was nice and clean. The free trolley that stops here is vital as the hill you are on is steep and I did not enjoy driving up it at night, I would not want to do so more than we had to. The one thing they don't warn you about is the cost of parking there, only reason I put four...

My family and I always enjoy staying at the River Terrace. It's location and the staff keep us coming back.
I was a bit nervous after reading some reviews, but this was a fine place to stay. It was clean. Yes, the rooms were a bit outdated, but for the price and location, we would surely return. Their pet friendliness was a huge plus. Our kids had a blast and will remember their trip fondly.
I drove 10 hours to come here and then had to stand in line for an hour to check in. The Burger Bar on site was closed. They don't offer any kind of breakfast option. They also informed me they have no housekeeping. Even cheap hotels have those and this is a "resort." I felt almost rushed when it was my time to check in. They didn't even have me fill out the vehicle information form but everyone...
Hotel is older but charming. Rooms are clean. Highly reccommend room on the river side. Nice balconies and music across the road. Don't worry about no breakfast at hotel the log cabin and 35 other spots very close got you covered.
Very surprised when we got here. Was worried when I had read some of the reviews of people complaining about things. The rooms are older, but extremely nice, efficient and comfortable. Has beautiful views, staff is so sweet, beds are amazingly comfortable. So far we are loving it. Has a fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron, and a microwave which is great. The rooms are older because it's an older...
For those who want to be in the middle of every thing it would be great. Rooms are high. Bathrooms need updating. Staff at desk is very friendly. They do not have room service or maid service. Parking isn't adequate and restaurant on location has been closed for 2 years. Room location was good. I thought there would be a restaurant and there wasn’t. And there were no laundry facilities
We only stayed one night but will definitely be back the indoor pool has a waterfall it is noisy until 11pm when they turn it off if you want quite make sure you get a room on the outside but for us it was perfect. The pool is not a heated pool was a bit chilly for October but we still played for awhile. Clean rooms. bed were very comfortable. They do not offer free breakfast but have a restaurant...
The room was clean. I think it had a cute feel to it. The hotel is beautiful and very nicely decorated. The staff was very friendly and kind. We adored the pool and were so impressed. You are very close to most attractions here. Now for the downsides. There is no breakfast which left my kids and me scrambling for what to do.Did not love that. And the beds while clean honestly I think if I had slept...
This is a great place to stay in Gatlinburg! It is far enough away from the main strip that it is easy to get in and out of the ample parking lot but close enough to walk to. There is a trolley stop right in front of the hotel but it was over an hour between trolleys. The rooms were clean and good sized. The front desk folks were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is under construction and was...
Our family stayed here this past weekend and really enjoyed it. Our three boys loved the pool. The 1 ft pool was great for the baby. The entire pool area was very nice with comfortable furniture and fresh towels at pool side. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was a little far from the strip for us to walk with three kids, 3 and under but doable for adults and older children. The only problem...
An older hotel that has been somewhat updated. The rooms are clean, but worn. Rooms facing the indoor pool are very loud in the evening. Staff is very nice and helpful. Indoor pool looks nice from a distance but is in need of repairs. It's also crowded and very noisy. The outdoor pool is much nicer and less noisy and generally less crowded. For the price it is a decent place. Good breakfast restaurant...

Had a great experience while visiting Gatlinburg for the 1st time. I loved our location!! Just a parking lot from the strip so easy to access for sight seeing & to return for potty breaks? Had free breakfast, cute indoor/outdoor pool & 2 hot tubs, fire pit out back, small patio & large jacuzzi in room, free parking also--but was a tight fit sometimes! If it wasn't for family being in Pigeon Forge,...
I have no complaints at all. This hotel was reasonably priced. The staff were kind and helpful. The room was in perfect order when we arrived. The pools were clean and the fitness center is also clean and in working order. I didn't try the breakfast while I was here, but there seemed to be a lot of people enjoying it when I walked by. All in all I will probably stay here every time I can. I would recommend...
I spent two nights here May 12 and 13th. Both days were upper 80s. While I did spend the evenings sightseeing I stayed in room 115 during the hottest part of the day. The room was cool and comfortable and even the balcony overlooking the river was cool being shaded by dogwood trees. The trees also blocked the view of the hotel across the river which made it even cozier. A small creek tumbles over...
This hotel is right on the river and offers a nice mountain view. The beds are comfy and the whole place is very neat and clean. Has a pool and a gym. Within walking distance from a lot of shops and restaurants and has a continental breakfast with a wide variety of foods. All in all, this is a nice hotel.
The only special feature, which is very important is, the staff. They're very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area and area events. Thanks Guys and Gals! I'd recommend and would stay at this hotel again, just don't expect to be wowed. The rooms were ok; they could be a tad cleaner and larger, there are functional balconies but small, the beds were fairly comfortable (I slept just fine...
My wife and I overall liked the hotel but was disappointed that they didn't have a restaurant within the hotel. They do have a decent size morning breakfast which was always fully stocked but it lacked the quality taste that the food looked like it would have. Their eggs were very under cooked. We came to Tennessee for a funeral and this place had an indoor pool so we booked it(we have 3 young kids). It was maybe 30 degrees outside each day so obviously we needed an indoor pool. Sure the hotel may be old but it’s definitely nice. Overall I have no complaints. We were in the separate building across the street because we brought 2 dogs, one of which is a service animals. I have no complaints...
We were very impressed with the 2 people running the front desk. Courteous , friendly and very helpful with questions about the area. Our room was very clean and nice. . The restaurant made a great breakfast that was way to much to eat unless you shared it. The only bad thing I can say is be careful of the shower. if someone near you turns on their water you are going to get really cold fast or really...
Hotel room was spotless, but you could definitely tell this is a old hotel, there are damages in the rooms but it was very clean. had some issues with some lights flickering but i think it’s mainly because this is such a old building, sheets clean and floors clean, rooms looked Semi-newly renovated which was okay. pool was nice but heavily chlorinated so we couldn’t stay in it long, the pictures online...
Rooms were cozy and the views were amazing. Perfect location though to see the town and wishing walking distance of everything down town, and if not feeling like a walk trolley picks up right in front every 20 mins for only 50 cents. The pool is an amazing area and very beautiful
Very good place to stay. It was clean and everyone was very nice. Parking was sort of tight, and don't know about the dining area, never could catch it open. Our room with the balcony was wonderful. Saw all types of wildlife. Will definitely stay their again!!!!!
Good for the price. Everything is dated and old. Shower temp changes drastically when anyone on the floor uses water. Got a non-smoking room but could smell smoke coming from other rooms. Perfect location for a summer vacation. My son enjoyed visiting the pool and the location was perfect for us. Close to Food City for groceries and our new favorite steakhouse the Alamo.
I had to write a review after seeing so many negatives (although they do say that people are more inclined to leave a bad review than a good one) So here is a good one! The sugar house is where me and my husband decided to say since it was just the two of us. The staff were super nice and they give you directions and coupons for local events in the area! Our cabin was clean and so comfy. Movies provided...
We stayed in hunny home and it was very cozy and nice. 90% clean. There were some small maintenance issues but not enough to complain over. Would like to stay here again.
There are few pictures online, so this place was a pleasant surprise. 1 bedroom cabin has 2 back decks with hot tub and views to die for. Very spacious and clean. Cabins are secluded, but close to town. Staff knowledgeable and accommodating. Super easy check in and checkout. I honestly don't have anything bad to say about this place. Incredible value.
Just enjoyed a Family Reunion here. The rental cabins are well maintained /accommodating. The front office staff is helpful and professional.. Try it - you'll like it!

We were happy with our stay, overall and that's why I left 5 stars. For the restaurant/buffet area, I give 1 or 2 stars, at best. This is due to the laziness and rudeness of the staff in that area. The hotel workers were all so friendly, it seemed strange that the restaurant workers were so unpleasant. Not the worst I've experienced, but can definitely improve in that area.
The guy up front was very nice. The girl at night could have dealt with mine and another couple's situation a little better. The attitude was not needed. The room was alright but did not stay cool. With the money I spent for the 3 nights you would think I would get more than 2 bottles of free water. I booked through the Hilton Honors and again with the money I spent I thought the damage deposit would...
Checked in only to leave 6 hours later. This location has a beautiful lobby and rooms. The front desk and maintenance workers were very nice. Overall the hotel seemed to be clean. But that’s about it. Our room was on the fourth floor. The hallway was very hot and muggy. We could never get our room temp good enough. It was either too cold or hot and miserable. The bed….holy crap. If you like sleeping...
To be a Hilton Honors diamond member, it sure didn't feel any different than not being one. Room had crumbs on the chair and in the floor, and when we booked the room we were told there may be an opportunity to upgrade once we check in... there wasn't any upgrades so we ended up in a room on the 4th floor with no balcony or any kind of features that a diamond member should have. Very disappointed in...
My family and I recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally pleasant experience. Its remodeled and in a quiet spot. Good breakfast options. It is about 10 mins of walking time to the main strip.
Nice hotel in Gatlinburg, close to everything. Nice suites, balcony very nice jacuzzi and filling breakfast. Coffee is one of the best I've tasted. Housekeeping came to our room and provided us toiletries. Indoor pool is freezing though. Not enough seats and tables at breakfast lobby when busy. 4 out of 5 stars.
Amazingly clean. The staff was fantastic. We did not encounter even one problem during our 3 day stay. It is a slight incline coming back from the main strip so if you (like us) max out you credit on moonshine and wine.
This is a great location to stay if you want near access the Smoky Mountains Trail heads. The hotel in general is clean and rooms are very spacious. We loved it, it's very retro, in the original sense. I sat on the balcony at 5 a.m. listening to the peaceful sound of the river. It doesn't have all of the amenities you get in a newer hotel, no gym, no microwave or fridge in the room but it was very clean, the bed very comfortable and the staff was wonderful. The location is perfectly placed right in the middle of downtown Gatlinburg. The room had a charming old school look and feel to it. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommended.
The rooms are pleasant. Plenty of drawer space and modern bathroom with the expected touches for a hotel like hair dryer, iron, and coffee maker. Every time we have stayed in Gatlinburg it has been at this hotel! The rooms are very clean and very consistent. Bed are comfy. They offer outdoor fireplace and hot tub which the family always loves. There is also an indoor pool!
The bad: I would've gave it a higher rating if it was cheaper, but for $400/night we expected more. It was a high season I understand, but the room cleaning was upon request, and after two nights we requested it, a poor job to say the least, didn't even refill the coffee or wipe the surfaces. Comfortable bed. Air-conditioner works. Clean facility. Highlights if breakfast were waffle bar and crispy bacon. Eggs where powdered and sausage patties tasted boiled. Have stated in nicer hotels for cheaper. However, it is comprable with area prices.
Stayed here for a week with my boyfriend and his three kids. Very clean rooms and hotel, very nice staff, great location, great pool setup ( wish the outside one was bigger), fresh cookies in the afternoon, great deals for members, and the beds were better than most hotels. I agree with another review on here. I would say any reviews before 2019 pretty much need to be disregarded. They are in the process of a massive renovation. We stayed here last week of May (2019) . They weren't done with renovations. They didn't have breakfast available at the time of our stay due to the lobby not being finished but the rooms were great, very comfy beds and pillows as well. A very...
The hole place is being remodelled. So other than the construction work was a great place to stay. The location was great you can start at one end of the strip and walk down and back.
Wonderful location, friendly staff and great parking. You can definitely tell they’re trying to update the rooms, but they definitely meet your need. Would definitely stay here again for the price and location.
It kinda smelled like I stuck my nose in a bottle of toilet bowl cleaner and there were cigarette burn holes in our blanket. The walls were super thin and your could hear everything. And be prepared for a hike up the hill, it doesn't look so bad until you have to hike back up at 10:00 or 11:00 at night after walking around all day. However, it wasn't to bad and it had a great view and we got to see...
Best rate for the area, and was not as bad as other reviews made it seem. I only needed to stay for one night. It's an older hotel, but the location is good and the stay was comfortable. It had everything you'd expect from a mid range hotel. Clean towels, bathroom was small but functional, cleaned surprisingly well. We checked in early and the front staff was very nice about it. Our room faced the...

Staff was very friendly and helpful and facilities were clean and up to date. Location was great, minutes from The Great Smokey National Park, which was the primary reason for our visit. Plenty of good restaurants to eat at within walking distance. We would definitely stay here if we travel to Gatlinburg again.
The room was nice and clean. Staff were friendly and welcoming. My room was cleaned daily and restocked. My balcony door faced the road which made traffic noise noticeable. The bed didn’t sleep well but that’s a personal preference. Pillows were feathered which means they go flat fast. Once again, that’s a personal preference. The continental breakfast was a nice treat each morning. Toast, waffles...
Accommodations were great. The hotel fulfilled the requests I submitted when I made the reservation which I truly appreciated. I reserved a room by the creek and you can hear the water flowing. Loved it! It was just a bit cold to sit out there and enjoy the view and listen to the water. The front desk staff were very nice. They were also busy due to it being the weekend and there was a football &...
Hampton Inn 967 Parkway, Gatlinburg, TN has been the best place that we have ever stayed. The employees are absolutely wonderful. We have stayed there multiple times and we always get the same great service. The hotel is also nice and clean. They will go above and beyond to make sure your stay is wonderful! BTW if you go be sure to meet Anita at the front counter, She is a true GEM!!
We loved our stay here! The front desk workers were just the sweetest. We had a room right on the stream, and it was just lovely having coffee outside there in the mornings. The rooms were very clean. Bathroom came with nice, extra toiletries. I found the bed super comfy. For being a motel, there was barely any light let inside when the curtains were drawn. I also didn’t hear any noise at night at...
We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great - walking distance to everything and the room was very clean and comfortable. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly, efficient, and helpful. Our room had a creek side balcony that was a wonderful place to read and relax after our daily adventures. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Lovely place, we booked a standard room but we were upgraded to a larger suite with a gas fireplace and it was absolutely fantastic. I cannot overstate how nice it is to have a fireplace in your hotel room! Other than that the room was generally comfy, clean, and spacious. The free breakfast buffet was nice, obviously don't expect five star cuisine but as far as free food goes it was quite tasty...
This place is amazing! I've stayed there a few times now! The view is great from the top (7th) floor. Delicious hot breakfast daily, laundry facilities, balconies, very clean, some with fireplaces, and you can't beat the price! The employees are friendly and helpful! You can't beat the location! I totally recommend 100%! Swimming pool as well. Fun, relaxing, family environment
We stayed at this location for a week in November 2022 and had a great time. The room was clean (sure, maybe not as updated as some others in the area but we didn't mind). Breakfast consisted of eggs, sausage, baked goods, fresh fruit, cereal, and yogurt. We always grabbed an extra bagel to take with us when heading out on hikes. Do be aware that like anywhere else in Gatlinburg things are VERY busy...
Earl is amazing!!! what a wonderful asset to this hotel. however- is there a manager overseeing this hotel?? Everyday I went to the front desk asking for him/her and was told they were not in. The issue at hand is The heater in our room did not/does not work. thank goodness for the fireplace- but its on a hour timer. At least we were offered a floor heater. it is on a timer for an hour at a time
One of the cheapest and cleanest, last minute hotels I found in the area. Pet friendly and the rooms are so clean you wouldn't know it. Parking is a little tight, but was ample enough space for our trip and they were pretty pack. Great location right on the trolley line, with a stop in front. Don't pay for parking take the trolley and its conveniently located for that!
This Quality Inn is A Cut Above any other Quality Inn I've ever stayed at. As you well know equality in is not at the top of the list or a five star hotel. We stayed and a king suite with a wrap-around balcony and the price was very reasonable. The room was clean, the bed was clean, plenty of towels and a awesome fireplace that made the atmosphere in the room just right. We stayed on the 4th floor...
