Best Western Plus Glendale

Ok hotel. Be prepared to pay for parking! I was not prepared to check out of my room then check back in after adding an additional night! Was charged twice for security deposit and parking! Continental breakfast is okay but no decaffeinated coffee!

Easy freeway access but hotel is right next to the freeway so there is no escaping the noise. It is a white noise so nothing a pair of eae plugs can't fix. Room was clean, basic. No complaints. Front desk and breakfast staff were friendly. Breakfast is supposed to go to 10 am but they were already packing up around 930 or so. Breakfast selection was pretty good for a hotel breakfast. We stayed here for a concert at the Rose Bowl. Very easy and short drive to downtown Pasadena.

I liked that the location was close to where we needed to be. The parking is okay. Very small spaces. Breakfast is okay. The first night I checked in the man working at the front was not great with customer service. He just asked for my card that I used to book the room and my ID. Then charged my card 4 different times without any explanation on charges. Then made me sign the form gave me my keys and that was it. It was until the next morning when I had go to the front and just confirm the charges because there just was no explanation for the extra fees. I do not mind the payments but at least explain why. Then we leave for the day and come to our room to an item missing. I went down to the front and I told the very helpful generous women Cristine whom was working that night that I had an item from my room missing. She pulls out my item from their lost and found when I had left it on the nightstand and says there was no notes on her end she apologized for the inconvenience and I told her she didn’t need too apologize when that is not her fault. I just found it weird that it was the only item taken and so it happened to be in their lost & found. I don’t think I would stay here again.

Stayed here two nights for work in the area. Room walls are pretty thin and you can hear every noise from outside and on the balcony and adjacent rooms. Location is nice because it's next to freeways but some car noises are really loud in the room. Breakfast was served at 7AM, coffee machine was out of service and no milk available. Some guests check in really 6 woke me up both nights. The room itself is good, just lots of noise from the area.
