Everything about our stay was great. The receptionists were very kind and professional. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and the bed very comfortable.
We have been.to.this hotel before and are usually on the lower available rooms. This time we were lucky to be close to the top, and some friends booked their rooms on two other floors. We all met Sunday morning for breakfast around 8 AM. Food was good, but size didn't match price. O really it was a good weekend and felt "almost" like home.
Stayed here for two nights for a conference. The location was great, super close to where I needed to be and walkable to the conference and dinner. The front desk staff were knowledgeable and attentive, and check in was fast and efficient. The room itself feels..... dated. Furnishings are new, but walls and baseboards have obvious damage and need repair. Windows were very dirty so taking in the "view...
Attended a convention and the meeting rooms were big and clean. Staff in restaurant were super helpful and friendly. Only negative was dinner for over ,300 people, there wasn't enough help/servers. My husband had to ask for tes, coffee and more rolls, our waitress said there were no more rolls, but supervisor brought some warm rolls. Said she didn't have time to bring tea but once again my husband...
I was here before they renovated and looks great, very comfortable rooms. Staff and very friendly and accommodating. Sun facing rooms can get hot when AC is not on but overall a great property.
5 stars directly to Margarita in Housekeeping. My family and I got taken care of by her with a smile all through our 2 week stay. My daughter got food poisoning one day and vomit was all over the bed. Margarita not only gave us clean linen asap, she also had the courtesy to ask how my baby was doing the following days. People like her make this hotel the best in Glendale! Thank you Margarita and Hilton

We are Hhonors Diamond and had two rooms but I'm not sure if either were upgrades. One was internal and overlooked the courtyard with no Window out. The other was a corner suite. Both were a bit cramped. Breakfast was busy but efficient and very good. Went to manager reception one night. There were chips, chex mix and drinks. Nothing too fancy, but fine and better than others we've been to lately....
The staff is very helpful and friendly. Suites are clean and roomy. The breakfast is delicious with made to order omelets. Location was close to family we came to visit and many attractions. Stayed at multiple Hilton brand hotels since pandemic, this was first with return to welcome gift for Honors member. Also offered housekeeping daily without needing ask each morning. Glad we chose to stay here
Stayed at this hotel for a festival. The room was very spacious and the pull out couch was big enough to fit two people. They have complimentary happy hour and breakfast in the morning (the good kind!). They have a pool (but we didn't have time to use it) and the location is very close to the Rose Bowl Stadium. And overall the experience was great!
The absolute best stay I've had in the area. It's right off the 134 freeway. Easy access to parking lot. The amenities were amazing! Breakfast was great, enjoyed the omelet station. The beds were so puffy and comfortable. Worth every dime 👌
Great Hotel, food, decor, staff are top notch. They only thing I hate are the "Solid Rock" hard beds. If not for that, this is a 5 star property.
Great place to stay if you are visiting Universal Studios. Complimentary breakfast included. Suites are clean and modern. Parking is underground and hotel charges $21/day. We've stayed here twice now on both our Universal Studios trips. Will likely stay here again next time unless the Hilton at Universal has a better rate.

I don't know why Glendale Express still shows as Day Inn. Anyway, it is a good hotel near the 134 freeway. Nothing fancy, just think of a regular local hotel at a convenient location.
I did not expect the hotel to be that big. It’s nice and clean. I just didn’t find the microwave oven. There’s a mini fridge, which is convenient. And you can stream your phone or tablet into their tv so you can watch your favorite shows in the comfort of your bed
This was a nice place! For the price, we got a nice big room with a king bed and a couch. Convenient for visiting the tourist spots near Griffith park like the Hollywood sign and the Observatory. The room was clean and no annoying noises from anywhere. It had a deck overlooking the pool. My only complaint is that they charge $9 for parking, which was annoying not knowing that ahead of time. Still...
It's a small inn but had a very warm atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They also have decent and affordable conference/ meeting room you can rent for events as well.
Bumping this up to 3 stars. Friendly staff and the place is clean. For LA the price is affordable. Internet speed very slow.
Hallways smelled of smoke. Bed and room was comfortable. Decor was a bit dated. It was close to a work location. Easy to travel to and from

Great hotel for the price. Cool neighborhood. Starbucks, restaurants and drug store in walking distance. Didn't have the breakfast so I can't speak to that. People were enjoying the pool. Would definitely stay here again when in LA.
Average hotel. Average continental breakfast. It is what you would think. Price seemed competitive for the market.
Room was fine. AC was cold but loud. The pool and hot tub were closed for some reason when we arrived... No workout room. Breakfast was very basic, but at least there was something. No much to do around this area. I had to walk a ways just to get to a gas station to get some drinks.
Easy check in. The room was clean as well as the beds and bathroom. I used to work in hospitality and I checked the room. It was a basic good clean. One of the outlets on the lamp did not work. Other thank that, thank you for a good night's rest.

everything was good and clean, didn’t have any issues while staying. The location is great a lot of restaurants and transportation. It’s above expectations for the price
Pretty clean and great location. Free Parking in the 2nd level of the BoA parking structure which seems like a pretty safe location. No elevator to get to the check in desk / lots of stairs.
It's in the middle of a bunch of restaurants bakeries and bars. The rooms are quite small but comfy. Each room has an individual AC unit and TV. Everything feels more homely rather than hotel-y.
Great little find. Extremely gracious staff and very clean updated rooms. The only issue I can share is they have no elevator so be prepared to climb stairs... Other than that its AWESOME!!
We needed a hotel room at the last minute close to midnight in July 2017, and we were able to stay in this hotel. It was in a good location and had free parking. Wifi worked great. Glad we called them.
Lot of staircases to get on your room. Room is small. Outlets are not reachable. Wifi is awesome. Bed is awesome. I would recommend this hotel if you are traveling light and want to have a nice quiet sleep in the night.

This place is a hidden gem. I don't usually like to stay in motels but the reviews were so high and the price was so reasonable that we had to try it. It appears that it is owned by a mom and pop Japanese couple. They are so very nice. The rooms are so clean and have very modern furniture. The shower was powerful. They thought of whatever you might need to make your stay comfortable. Microwave and...
One of a real gems of Glendale and LA area. This motel hits 5* no doubt. Exceptionally clean, rooms are spacious, well maintained. Managers really cares about travelers and make them coming back again and again whenever I need another night to stay there. My schedule is very unpredictable so I always have to decide whether I need to take one more day/night just before a checkout time and Alex, the...
What a great place!! Clean, comfortable, beautifully updated, wonderful staff, and does not at all feel like a hotel. Incredible value for the price. No coffee maker, but the TV channel selection/size, plush mattress, freezing A/C, as well as the giant soaking tub was worth it. I will be staying here again on my next business trip.
We stayed here for 5 days and did not have one complaint about the place! It's a small spot nestled between the mountains in Glendale, and super close to the freeway so very convenient. A safe place for family, safe to walk as well. The rooms modern and clean. 👌🏼 Amazing people in the office, and very helpful and accommodating. We will be back when we visit LA! ♥️
I would like to recommend this motel to anyone looking for a place to stay around the area. They were incredibly accommodating and friendly! The room was clean and comfy, no complaints about anything about the room. Everything in the room worked great and had no problems. It was spacious and exactly what we needed. We were there for a weekend getaway and spent it feeling like we made a great choice...

This is a great place to stay. They also have a wonderful outside balcony for guests. It is quiet and easy to get to, also conveniently located. I have been here twice in the last year. Note, the nearest airport is the Burbank Airport , right next to Pasadena, California.
Cute little spot rooms were comfy and clean great location and felt safe at night. We went to universal Studios and it was very close to us compared to other spots I've stayed at plus the mall was right next to us and there are gas stations and food places across the street. Perfect if your going for a few nights and need a place to get some rest the staff was very polite and would stay here again...
By far the best budget option we have used when we visit. Room was clean and smelled fresh, and everything was in its place. The toilet was a little small, but the rest of the room was great. Parking got a little dicey at night because of the small lot, but all in all I would recommend it to anyone staying in the area.
Excellent location for our stay everything was close by to eat and shop. We checked out this morning and received a call that we had forgotten a pill box and returned to get it we thought it was amazing that a hotel did that. I highly recommend this place for future stays.
Stayed here for a weekend. The price for the rooms are great! (Especially with all this inflation, it was hard to find something affordable). The rooms were clean and the office people were polite. There's also a lot of food and stores near by. The area was safe and I didn't have to worry about my car at night. I'd definitely stay here again.
Great location, friendly staff, and very clean room. They even let us check in a hour before the original check in time.

Great location. Safe neighborhood. Small motel with very comfortable beds, pillows and nice towels. It is simple, very clean, spacious and efficient for staying somewhere to crash after a long drive or after a long day sightseeing around Los Angeles. I give a 5 star because of the price, cleanliness, great bed and highway 5 accessibility.
Not sure about the bad experiences others have had here, its a basic hotel in Glendale. Worth it, fridge and microwave and fan work. Bathroom fan was not working but still vented smell. You get what you pay for, if you want the four seasons, shouldn't expect

Easy freeway access but hotel is right next to the freeway so there is no escaping the noise. It is a white noise so nothing a pair of eae plugs can't fix. Room was clean, basic. No complaints. Front desk and breakfast staff were friendly. Breakfast is supposed to go to 10 am but they were already packing up around 930 or so. Breakfast selection was pretty good for a hotel breakfast. We stayed here...
I liked that the location was close to where we needed to be. The parking is okay. Very small spaces. Breakfast is okay. The first night I checked in the man working at the front was not great with customer service. He just asked for my card that I used to book the room and my ID. Then charged my card 4 different times without any explanation on charges. Then made me sign the form gave me my keys and...
Clean rooms, nice costumer service, location right off freeway. I couldn't hear cars too much but you are in a city. Breakfast is awesome. I will book again. I've been here one night have 3 more to go & am very happy with hotel. I don't understand the 3 star rating. Plenty of restaurants near by.
Stayed here two nights for work in the area. Room walls are pretty thin and you can hear every noise from outside and on the balcony and adjacent rooms. Location is nice because it's next to freeways but some car noises are really loud in the room. Breakfast was served at 7AM, coffee machine was out of service and no milk available. Some guests check in really 6 woke me up both nights. The room itself...
Room service was great. The front receptionist Christine was nice and thorough with our check in last night. I never been to a hotel that served really good breakfast, so I highly recommend this hotel. They went above n beyond for their customer.
Serviceable hotel. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and the shower hot. The door and window were not well insulated and let in a lot of sound from outside. The walls are also somewhat thin. For the area, this hotel hit a nice middle mark of cost and value. Had the location I needed. Breakfast was acceptable, if not particularly impressive. Parking spaces were tight and had a $9/night on...

This was a last-minute stay, and I'm glad we came across it. Think motel but nicer. At least, that's how it looked to me. The front desk employees were very kind and helpful. The room itself was better than I expected. In fact the whole place was. I've booked places like these before (it says it's a hotel, but it's a motel or used to be), and the pictures always look so much better than the actual...
We loved staying at the Xilo! They accommodated us on short notice and gave us a great room. The manager was very nice and obviously passionate about taking care of his hotel and his customers. We had a great sleep on a comfortable bed in a quiet room. The complimentary breakfast was great as week! If you are looking for a hotel stay with a great pool or workout room then I would not recommend this...
Awesome rooms! Stayed in the Jacuzzi loft and suite as well as a regular room and all 3 were great! Really nice about a late check out and just all around pleasant experience.
Ben, at the front desk, is pretty much the nicest most professional hotel dude I've ever encountered. Extremely friendly, thorough, and nice. The rooms are exceptionally clean and tidy. Showers are wonderful. Great spot. Great price. Great location. Excellent choice!!
Claudia was very energetic, helpful, and friendly. The room was tact sharp and clean, modern which excelled in comfort. Great location will book again in the future
Great little hotel. Breakfast was good. Can't bring it back to the room. Currently undergoing upgrades. Rooms are nice. No sound proof at all. Was able to hear my neighbors the whole time. I'm glad I didn't have my kids. Wish soundproofing was part of their remodel.

Vagabond Inn Glendale, Glendale1 / 50
Glendale, 120 West Colorado Street 🧭 Map
Stayed 3 nights here and I can you it's very clean with the hard flooring and I also saw the cleaning lady mop the floor and sprayed soap as I was walking passed another room. It is in a very great location with a mall and tons of restaurants close by. Also has a pool but the water is pretty cold as it is not heated.
This is a motel type of stay. The rooms are very small and tight. If you open a suite case, there is not enough space to use the table and chairs. Car parking fee is $10 per night that is not mentioned during booking. Also not mentioned is room cleaning is only done on the 3rd night. The room keys did not work correctly and we had to reprogram them several times, still only one key would work, mine...
POISTIVES - Location is fantastic as it is in the midst of shopping areas, food, and in close proximity to leisure attractions - Open and roomy parking area - Front desk is helpful and friendly NEGATIVES - Old building with a worn-out impression - High on price given the facility and lack of renovations - No breakfast included within the expensive rate - Parking fee charged at USD 10 per night (not...
Great location. Plenty of dining options within walking distance. We had no issue with noise. Room seemed clean and updated upon entry, although the floor could have used some extra attention. We did see hair in the bathroom. Room had a stale, musty smell. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would stay here again.
An updated Vagabond Inn. Motel style between two bigger hotels. First impressions mixed - slight wait on arrival for receptionist to return from break, but the rooms are great. Our room was on the top floor and fully refurbished. New floors, new bathroom, great bed, fridge, safe, ironing board, coffee machine, soaps, shower gels, large tv. Ideally located within 5 minutes of a wide selection of fancy...
Decent prices, right next door to the American at Brand which was kinda cool. We actually were turned away from a much less cool hotel, we assumed they were dog friendly but were not. We were so relieved to find the Vagabond Inn, which was a way better location, and was dog friendly! We walked over to the Americana in the evening, close to tons of shopping and restaurants. Clean rooms, nice front desk...

Love the Victory Motel Inn. The family who runs the motel are super nice and friendly. They make you feel like you are part of their family. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. I feel safe when I stay here. Recommend it with my 2 👍..😉
Victory Motel Inn exceeded our expectations. The night staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and had a microwave, coffee maker, and mini fridge in the room. I would definitely come back.
Great service 👏 my family and I enjoyed our stay ! Very quiet place & finding parking was a breeze close to our room! We will definitely come back.

Oh what a wonderful vacation I had with my family! We stayed at Victory Motel Inn in Glendale CA. The staff at Victory was extremely compensating, polite and nothing was too much trouble for them. It's a small and quiet place. They don't have a pool. The rooms are decent because it has a mini fridge, TV (direct TV), AC, shower with tub, weak WiFi the signal is bad, and the bed is on the hard side. Seems really stiff. Good enough room for the night. $100 for the night room #26. The parking lot is small, however there's plenty of close street parking.
