Hilton Grand Vacations Club Ocean Oak Resort Hilton Head

Hilton Grand vacations continues its excellence with this property in Hilton Head. I wish I snapped a picture of the room but it was beautiful. Super clean and looking relatively new the room was just about perfect. Parking was easy. We spent most of our time on the beach which was great and there was a ton to do within walking distance of the Hilton. We went to to the Sandbar restaurant on our visit which was maybe a 1/2 mile walk and the best thing was that after dinner you can walk the beach back to the hotel. To sum it up we loved this resort and will be back.

This is my favorite place on my favorite island! The rooms are large and clean, the views are amazing! The staff are so friendly and helpful. Especially Arismel (front desk) and Chris (restaurant/bar). There are two pools; one is more of a family pool and one is quieter and more adults tend to relax there. The beach is literally steps away. It is the most gorgeous 12 mile stretch of beach that I’ve ever seen! This hotel is only about half a mile from Coligny Plaza which is full of great restaurants and shops, too. Some of my favorites are Sandbar, Sweet Al’s, and the Frozen Moo! Ocean Oak is just the best! Don’t miss it!

The resort is very nice. I got one of the most expensive rooms, ocean view. I was on the second floor and while yes, I could see the ocean from my room, barely. You cannot see or hear waves unless you walk out onto the actual beach. Beach access was nice, not a super far walk, you can also rent bikes and ride bikes out of you prefer. Two pools were nice. The hot tub at the smaller pool is way nicer. The bar/grill closes at 6, which seems a little early to me. Lots of food places within walking distance. Parking was a challenge at times, but there is parking. Towel service daily. The room itself was awesome. Comfortable beds. Comfortable furniture. Full kitchens. Nice bathrooms with great water pressure. Oh, and the stars of the show, quiet ceiling fans. They were awesome.

Beautiful ocean front view, full kitchen, they have their own walkway directly to the beach. The staff was friendly, customer service was amazing. The beach itself was clean, although a bit crowded. Will stay here again, and highly recommend.

The rooms were very clean and well equipped with everything you need. The check in process quick and easy. Great service and all the hotel personnel always friendly and eager to make customers happy. Very quiet atmosphere, ideal for a few days of relax.
Pools were great, kids love them. Even the beach was amazing but there were jelly fish present and me and my husband got sting.
2 inconveniences: there are not pool towels available at the pool, you have to pick them up at the reception every day. Also, parking space is very limited. If you go out for dinner, when yo return there is not space to park. The hotel has more space in front but is not ideal to park outside and then have to walk back to the hotel crossing a street that is completely dark.

I wish I could give this place 3.5 stars as a solid four is not warranted. Nonetheless, I will give them the benefit of the doubt...

As far as the facility itself goes? A very solid vacation destination, and resort. It's got all the bells and whistles - the pool, beach access, bar, located far enough from the hustle and bustle but not so far as to take too much time to get there. And the rooms? Spectacular - no complaints there.

My issue was with the desk staff - they were lless than helpful and welcoming, and accommodating. Thankfully, once we were done checking in (by far the biggest hassle of checking in I have ever experienced) we had no further use for them or to even deal with them (thank goodness).

The general manager Caleb went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was comfortable and relaxing.

The grounds are clean and well maintained.

The pool, music, bar, grilling, etc are right off the beach.

The rooms are spacious, clean and have everything you need for a home away from home.

Highly recommend.

The experience was great! Food was good and the staff was friendly. The room was generally clean, however, I always reclean my rooms because I dont completely trust the services. But in general, in was clean. Being at a beach it would be nice to have a swifter or vacuum in the room to pick up any residue left behind. The kitchen is a nice benefit especially for large families. The washer and dryer is awesome for keeping up with clean towels and washcloths. Beds could be updated, the double beds were not as comfy as the king bed. The beach access was perfect in location. Overall, it was a great trip and we would return again!
