Rooms are extremely outdated but clean. Service was great, and the bar was a great addition. Our bar tender was sweet and fixed our drinks very well. The two ladies at the front desk were so sweet. They let us check in at 1030 a.m., which was a huge blessing. The service alone is why we would definitely stay again. 💯

You can’t beat the price for the quality! The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and breakfast was included. Also loved the proximity to everything in Kill Devil Hills and access to the beach. Great location right on the beach! Rooms a bit dated but clean and comfortable. The best part of staying here is the customer service - everyone was super friendly and helpful, from the desk staff to the housekeepers to the maintenance men! The hotel is in a great location, with beach access and is dog friendly. The breakfast is good. But our room was old and not very clean. I question from the smell of the pillows if sheets were changed. Also, they are in a remodel, and workmen started around 7:30 am on Saturday. Not worth the crazy price.

As an older hotel on the beach, this one had been redone inside and was very nice. The breakfast area was small but set up nice to have a higher head count. We had an east facing suite but on the ground floor. dunes was all we saw. A higher floor would have been better.

Standard continental breakfast, building is a little dated but they did update the furniture. Great location. Staff is super nice and responsive to requests. Pool and hot tub were cleaned regularly, but hot tub needs some maintenance on jets. Overall a nice beach getaway stay.

I live less than an hour away but I wanted to enjoy my day on the beach and dinner with drinks without having to worry about driving. I chose this hotel because it was cheap and convenient and it proved to be an absolute delight. If you're doing the beach the right way, you just need shower and a clean bed to sleep in. The Best Western provided both, and then some.

Beautiful ocean front condos! Long deck with glass doors from living area and master bedroom overlooking the ocean. Full kitchen with all full size appliances, range, dishwasher, over the range microwave, and refrigerator. For a little bit extra, I’d recommend booking one of the suites, which comes with a kitchen stocked with plates and other utensils. Plus, the ocean view is spectacular.

Nice place that is right on the beach. We had ocean view. Clean updated rooms. They wouldn't honor the price you can find on sites like Priceline or the other search sites, said those rooms were sold out. It was nice, very comfy and somewhat accommodating. In the rules it asks you to put a lot of things up, and do yourself. Many lights were burnt out in my room, but there were many lights through-out the rooms. The grill was very broke, we were kind of expecting to use it. The utilities that worked were nice. I would say the walk in shower was the neatest thing there.

Nice place to visit! I love it. It is a little dated but definitely works. The last time I went the guy/security seemed confused about our pass and room. It is best to check in before the staff leave. I do plan to return for Christmas 🎄 I would love to stay Ocean side. It seems that may only be for owners.

My friend and I checked in around 3 pm and were quickly put into our room. The room was very clean and we'll set up. The rooms are close to the beach, less than a 3 minute walk. I definitely recommend this resort for a long stay in the OBX area.
