Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa

It's a stunning place that feels like paradise. In many ways it's sad to see a once natural area turned into something so developed and man made but if you can get past that, it's spectacular. The pool area is massive and the open air lobby areas are beautiful. I'm not sure it's worth staying here for an entire visit for most people because at the price, most people will feel like they need to stay at the hotel all day and enjoy it. But if you only want to treat yourself to a day of luxury of if you have a huge vacation budget and don't mind paying a premium, it's a great choice.

We had an amazing 5 day stay at this resort! The pools are amazing! You can purchase a float ring from the store at the pool for $30. Its really fun to float in the lazy river. The property has amazing restaurants. We tried all of them and they were all good. The terrace has live Hawaiian music! They also rent bicycles for free. The resort also has a lot of activities so do check them out and book in advance. Overall we had a very relaxing luxurious stay.

This hotel is great. It's a place to getaway from it all. Our room was upgraded to an Ocean view King, renovated. The grounds are beautiful.

Pool - go there super early if you want a chair.

Beach - go there early if you want a chair.

Food - Overall, very good but you will pay the price. I suggest you walk over to the mall to explore other cheaper grinds.

I've been CORRECTED on Parking - SELF PARKING is FREE. VALET Parking has a fee and is expensive. But you need a car to get around if you intend to leave the resort. So, get the car, enjoy the sites and Valet if you're too tired to self park. The fee is worth your time back to enjoy the resort upon your return. 🤙🤙🤙😍

We really loved our stay at the GHK and will absolutely stay again. If I could give one piece of advice, it would be to book club access! It was well worth it. All the staff at the club and front desk were so accommodating. We did have one issue with concierge, but I do feel like management did all that they could to make amends. We will absolutely stay here again.

I give 5 stars to Arlyn who checked us in! She was absolutely amazing and started us off perfect! She’s the sweetest human being, someone give her a raise!

Overall the hotel was beautiful and relaxing. The parrot mascots were just a joy and the pools are amazing! The beach is a little disappointing in the summer (through NO fault of the resort) just due to the time of year making it hazardous (just fair warning). The bathrooms are gorgeous and my dad loves the bidets. The grounds are incredible and parking is not horrendous, just a small trot over.

My one gripe is the prices of the food and drinks. They are a little ridiculous so we went off resort for most of our meals. (Though, Kauai is just expensive all around anyway).

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt during our Hawaiian honeymoon. Our resort experience was spectacular! There are tons of options for drinks and dining. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The pool area was massive, and we never had to fight to find a placed to sit. The service was excellent, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. We were treated so well as honeymooners - we had a beautiful display on our bed when we checked into the room, and were gifted a bottle of champagne with chilled glasses that we enjoyed on our spacious balcony. I would absolutely stay here again!

Had a great week there on our honeymoon. Justin in the club room was especially accommodating! He was so sweet and helpful. My husband and I always enjoyed talking to him when going in there. The hotel was just absolutely beautiful. Made a lot of memories there that we will never forget! Hopefully we get to visit again soon in a couple of years!
