Enjoyed our visit. Our room was fine but they were deep cleaning the rooms around us with bleach that seeped through. Bad enough to make your eyes tear. The Service was excellent from check=in to check-out.

Beautiful exterior and grounds. Cute touch to have a sandy beach on the lake. Plenty of room in the casino. Really good restaurants in house. You may notice I rated the room very low. Check your bed linens on arrival do not wat until bed time. So disgusting and stained.

Room was nice size wish there had been frig and microwave in room. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Casino needs better ventilation for smoke. And needs some instruction on games. Didn't play any cause didn't understand. Venue was good for Rick Springfield concert.

I love losing my life savings here. I get to spend my money and lose it tax free! I prefer these slots to the ones at Golden Nugget, but the tables are about the same. I got a comped meal and I have to say, it was a delicious meal. All the bouncers and pit bosses in the casino are nice, but be weary of the waitresses in some of the restaurants.

We. Had a great time, however Many things are not open during week days, restaurants have limited menus, and just because they are not taking reservations doesn't mean that you can't just walk up and eat. We will go back, but are aware you can't get room service except on weekends. The room is wonderful and food is great! Acoustics are great for there concerts!

What can I say. Its a hotel resort. Beautiful views. It is pricey so be prepared to spend. Simple amenities like a microwave and a micro fridge along with some "Deluxe" things to give a better experience would have been nice. I got a Deluxe room king size. Beautifully decorated. Bed was super comfortable and the tub/shower was lovely. Service was fair.

Wow what a beautiful hotel and casino. If you stay here you may not need to go anywhere else. There are however other things to check out in the area. This seems to be a recurring theme at other casinos also but the drink servers could pick up the pace. Had decent luck and fun on the slots. Good luck if you go.

Overall this hotel is exactly why we always try to pick Staybridge when traveling. Big rooms for us and the pets, good breakfast, nice facilities, and a staff who just lets you live without a lot of fuss. Much appreciated!

Booking, checking in, and check out went smooth. Price was fair. My husband and I were passing through for a night. The Queen Suite with the kitchenette was way nicer than expected. The room was clean, and the bed was firm, yet really comfortable. This will likely be our new spot anytime we need to stop in Lake Charles.

It isn't a bad place. All the hotels are overpriced in Lake Charles, so don't expect to get what you usually would for the money you spend. As for the room itself, the bathroom is basic, but the bed is comfy. I didn't have noise issues or anything like that either, so that's nice. It wouldn't be my first choice, but really none of the hotels in this town would be for the prices they give you.

Last time we stayed here it was a pleasant experience. This time there was a moldy carpet smell, not just in our room but throughout the whole right wing. The bed was clean but not too comfy. The front staff hit on my husband LOL.. It wasn’t horrible, I didn’t see any bugs, but I do feel $85 was a little high for one night. This is more of a $60 place.

This is literally the only Hotel / Motel I stay at in Lake Charles. No it's not one of the big luxurious casino hotels. By the same token it doesn't carry they're luxurious price tag. Hotel staff was super friend and accommodating. Rooms were clean and linen fresh. There was no Bistro due to hurricane repairs, but they provided breakfast sandwiches, bagels, and hot coffee complimentary. We recently stayed at this hotel because of the great experience we’ve had at other Holiday Inn Express Hotels. Unfortunately this one didn’t live up to prior experiences. I did not have an automobile to get around and the shopping center across the street was very difficult to get to. It would be nice if the city would have a streetlight somewhere in the middle of the block. The light on the corner is dangerous because of the traffic coming off of the freeway and cars making turns on the street.

PROS: My family of 4 booked a double queen suite, which included a couch with a trundle and a small kitchenette. It was ok. Couple of small issues in my room. Some molding from the barn door to the bathroom had been ripped off of the wall and the handle on the inside of the door to the bathroom had been ripped off and not replaced. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Booked through Expedia. Service was great! Location great! But the king size mattress in our room was terrible. Woke up with terrible back pain. Mind you we are in our late 20s early 30s. The couch felt so much more comfortable than the mattress to be honest. May consider booking again but the mattress issue would get me to second guess the decision.

The room size is perfect for our party of 5. We were able to book a room with 2 queen beds and a couch. I really like the layout and the staff was friendly. The hotel is located close to the casinos (if that's your interest) and near several restaurants both sit down and drive thru. There's plenty of shopping near by.

The suites are small enough for 2 people to be comfortable but I wouldn't suggest using the pullout for anyone. The room would be extremely tight for more than 2 people. Not much room to move around in but great for a weekend getaway.

We loved coming back from a smoke area to your quiet, clean air non-smoking motel. We did not think we would enjoy not being in a hotel environment but it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The distance was not that far away from the two large hotels.

The king suite studio is great room was clean with plenty of space. Couch was comfortable and shower was clean. The hotel has a great outdoor pool that gets warm as well as family and friends rates for those needing long term stays.

This location is easy to get to and near many shopping and dining options. The rooms are clean and newly finished, and the beds are comfortable. The lobby and dining areas are large and can accommodate a crowd. Staff is friendly. We'd initially planned to stay with our dogs but ended up just being there ourselves. The staff here is amazing!!!! We were there for a baseball tournament and our whole team stayed there. Karyn is wonderful!!! Every night she made sure we had everything we needed as a team. The breakfast could be better though, the eggs were bad but the coffee was good. The beds were comfortable.

Kitchen staff member was lovely! Good breakfast options including a waffle maker. Happy to make iced drinks too! Room was large, a little old fashioned but clean and tidy. Good sized bathroom and lifts were quick. Ice machine is very noisy, ask for a room away from the lift. Pool looked fab but never had a chance to try it.

The place was great but wasn’t clean enough worth the money. The room, bathroom and toilet looked clean from outside but weren’t actually clean. A lot of hairs in the bathroom and bed room. Our bathroom had empty bottle of shampoo and conditioner. I see a lot of potential if this place can consider on improving all those small things. The staff members looked friendly and great free breakfast.

Can't beat the cleanliness and service for the price. This hotel is fairly new with a pool, an actual complimentary breakfast, and 2 miles from the casinos

So let’s get to the point, this place has really good breakfast! The location was easy to find and it wasn’t far from the Horseshoe Casino. I like the staff as they were very helpful and courteous. Plus there was plenty to do as it relates to restaurants and bars right down the street. I’d stay here again when visiting Lake Charles, LA off highway 10.

I'm rating a five star! Front desk was very nice / the housekeepers are friendly . Now if you want hampton quality go to hampton but far as me and my small family this was a blessing... Baby I always bring my own lysol disinfectant, clorax multi surface spray ,and my throw blanket sooooo no complaints here ( warm,cozy and definitely affordable).

The rooms are nice. I love how it is an extended stay you can sleep in and dont have to worry about housekeeping coming everyday early, they only come on your scheduled days. The Wi-Fi needs to be improved, its slow, always disconnects. My only complaint.

We lost our house and vehicle in Hurricane Harvey and this place is definatly a welcoming placem We have felt welcomed by the staff and everything is really clean. The only negative thing I can possibly say is the bed is a little on the hard and uncomfy side and a bit small, but when you loose everything you own , you are greatful for that hard bed to sleep in.

Great staff. They really went above and beyond anything asked.We were flooded during Hurricane Harvey. They asked daily how everything went and extended prayers. That was enough in our time of needs. This was a home away from home for my family and our two dogs..:-)

The rooms was pretty good sized plenty of room for two plus all your luggage. Bathroom was very beat up, door was oddly placed as far trying to shut the door while in the restroom. We took the shuttle to the casino and was great plenty of good suggestions on the casinos. On the way back you call the shuttle for pickup and 45 minutes later he pulls up with no a/c. Then we arrive back at the hotel...

People were nice. Check in was smooth. As a Gold member, I did not get the higher floor I requested but they could have been full. The two queen beds did not appear to be queen but rather full size beds. Otherwise, our room and the entire hotel was very clean. We felt very safe and cozy. I would highly recommend.

As far as Wyndham properties are concerned, this is one of the best that I have stayed at. My only superficial complaint is that they did not have waffles at breakfast. Otherwise the room and the hotel were clean and it was a good location and despite the proximity to the interstate, it was quiet.

Great hotel. We stayed here for a night before moving on to our next destination. The hotel lobby was beautiful. The room smelled great & was clean. Receptionist that was there was also kind and helpful. It's also near gas stations & food places so you could either order for pick-up, go there to dine-in, or just order online.

I was pleasantly surprised. The amazing smell that greeted us as we walked in was very comforting.
