Attended convention, absolutely not the place for a moderate sized convention. Front desk staff friendly but lacking in English comprehension and communication. Restaurant has no concept or concerns regarding cross contamination, as seafood was on menu, inquiring about if all food fried separately or in a single fryer, was informed that they only had a single fryer, unable to order anything for fear of anaphylaxis.
Conference room on second floor leaked severely during a downpour in the middle of meeting requiring moving of furniture by participants. No water stations or garbage cans provided until I was sent by one of coordinating members to find out, then over an hour later they arrived.
Hotel only has two tiny slow elevators, not able to get two mobility scooters in same elevator, barely could get two standing people and luggage trolley in elevator.
Bathroom had black mold, leaking shower pan, allowing water to not only drain onto bathroom floor but also into closet. Picture in bathroom literally falling apart from backing.
Holes several places in room, bubble on ceiling that indicates a leak on floor above.
Majority of staff we happy to inform us that they had only been in country from Somalia for less than two weeks and didn't know how to use "American" outlets.
Severely disappointed that coordinating members chose an absolute mess of a hotel for conference.

The front desk was dry and less than helpful with floor preference. I even had to ask where the elevators were to get to my room. Foretelling! The beds are semi comfy, no extra pillows nor blankets. The rooms are slightly outdated with decor from the 70’s or prior, dusty, no microwave, etc. The lobby is the best part of the hotel and is absolutely beautiful, but that’s where it ends. “There is a conference here…” is what the desk told me when I called about the noise. The wall a paper thin. Parking was free but a challenge. I paid for 3 nights based on another site’s reviews…BIG MISTAKE! I would not come back here.
Surprised by the four star rating. It’s a three star hotel at best.
