We stayed there this past weekend! There is roaches. We checked out today and we seen so many baby roaches, and big roaches behind the refrigerator going up into the cabin. This hotel is ok, but couldn’t sleep because I was terrified of the roaches. We wouldn’t stay here again, we seen a dead roach while walking in, but then after seeing the roaches in our room. Did mention it to the front desk.
Now looking at the reviews I see a lot of comments that mention roaches. It was a cheap hotel so you do get what you pay for. I was told the manager was going to reach out to me. We stayed in room 412 and honestly it isn’t a hotel we’d refer and stay in again. It looks like this roach problem has been an issue for a long time.

Clean friendly! I always stay here when I come to Lubbock!! I love how they make u feel at home!! Highly recommend !!

I stayed here recently, and I received a known unclean room. I came in at 9pm after I called at 2pm to confirm I would have a room since I was coming in late. I went to check in, and the attendant was freaking out due to not having a clean room available. She left to do something and came back saying a clean room was now available. I arrived at the room and there was old food in the fridge. The room smelled like she just put several Clorox toilets and called it clean. The smell was overpowering all night even with the window open.

If youre specifically looking for a hotel with a kitchen, don’t come here unless you also plan on buying pots and pans and plates and utensils. It’s a hotel, why would anyone travel with that stuff to a hotel? Totally defeats the purpose. They also have roaches and don’t know how to clean trash out of the rooms. Also my PlayStation can’t connect to the internet.

My recent stay at My Place was disappointing and unaccommodating. Upon check in, I learn of their no cash policy, and had to rearrange my form of payment. Once my family and I checked into our room, we found roaches ALL over the place (bathroom, kitchen area, and tables). I called the front desk and informed them and requested a new room. They honored the request however, the second room was not much better. The sinks in the room had a plumbing issue and the hotel telephone did not work/dial out. Our request for a refund was not honored. The staff was kind but the hotel overall did not meet basic standards of cleanliness.

Great place for the night, would recommend for a longer stay. Shower was good, bed comfortable and wifi worked well. Note, room does not automatically come with plates, pans, utensils etc in it. You probably have to ask. We travel with our own. Making dinner and breakfast was great! Full size fridge with ice maker.

I loved the location and the security around the area. Room couldn't ask for anymore with the full size fridge and small stove. Very convenient.

Ask for Felicia! She's always so friendly and accommodating! Rooms are clean and if you need anything at all, housekeeping here is dependable for sure! Will recommend 👍

I really like this hotel, have stayed on several occasions. However, I had a trip reschedule last minute and I needed to move my reservation to a future date 1 week later. The hotel said that since I did not cancel that reservation in time according to their policies, that I would only be charged for one night and could schedule another reservation for the future date. I understand their policies, but I had to pay for one night that was not used. I do book several rooms per stay at this location for my company, but will NOT be using them in the future. Unfortunately I have a new customer in Lubbock and will be out there often. Searching for a new Hotel in Lubbock!

The staff was super great. Location is wonderful. Not too far from university stores and restaurants. Beds was comfortable room nice and clean. I would have given 5 stars except the bath tub still had a ring in the back of the tub. Otherwise nice place to stay.

We were in Lubbock for our daughter’s graduation and rented a room at My Place Lubbock. I loved that they had rooms with two queen beds, it was perfect for our family of four. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable, the kitchenette and refrigerator were a bonus! Lexi the manager was so cheerful and accommodating! Thank you for a great experience!
