Glen was great and the rooms are very nice and cozy! There are plenty of restaurants in the area and it isn't far from town. Absolutely loved it here and would 100% stay again!
Perfect for a Fall Vermont Getaway. The rooms were clean, beds comfy, and owner extremely friendly. Beautiful wood beams/walls. We had our dogs with us and it made for the perfect stay. Delicious coffee offered each morning and many local restaurants to choose from for Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner. Great location. Highly recommend. We will stay again next year! A+++
Comfortable, clean room at a decent rate. The owner, Genn(?), was very helpful in recommending local restaurants. Beautiful view of the mountain!
Great overall value. We stayed upstairs. Rooms were clean but a bit dark. Walls seem a bit thin as we could hear the neighbors conversations, fortunately they didn't carry on too late in the night. The owner is a great resource for places to eat. We took three of his recommendations and were very pleased.
Bed isn't the best but everything else was clean. Great place to stay if you are skiing. Close to okemo. Would do again
Nice accommodations for the price. Did not expect a motel to look like a hotel. Owners were friendly and helpful.

We were apprehensive about staying here - based on all the past reviews. They stay was okay, in fact it was better than expected! It was a peak October weekend, when everything in a 50 mile radius was sold out. The staff is friendly and helpful. I think the room was recently remodeled, but the debris wasn't fully cleaned up.
Stayed for one night before going to Okemo to ski. It was a place to sleep is the best way to describe it.
It's a good price-service ratio. It's not fancy at all, but for the price of the room is good enough.
We were in Sheridan visiting family and stayed at the Happy Trails Inn. It is located just off of main street so it was nice and quiet and within walking distance of everything in Sheridan. We found that the rooms and the restaurant/bar had also been remodeled. The owners, Matt and Susanne were very friendly and very helpful in any questions we had about the area. The area is a mecca for fly fishing...

You get what you pay for. It’s an affordable roof and bed just down the road from Okemo. Easy check in, and nice hot shower with good water pressure. Room was a bit chilly, but it’s Vermont; wear layers. It’s not the nicest place ever, but it’s the perfect spot for a weekend trip with the boys.
Great location with really pleasant and clean rooms with a microwave, fridge, and big closet to hang wet ski gear. Friendly staff and housekeeping service was excellent Five minute drive from Okemo mountain and a bunch of local places to eat with extremely good food. I have stayed here for the past three years on annual trips and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
Great room for the price close to the mountain. Rooms are huge and friendly staff. The room has everything you would need for a couple of nights. Microwave, fridge and places to hang your wet snowboard clothes. I’ve stayed here before and it has now become a place to stay when I come to okemo. Give it a try
Disclaimer: I did not stay at the Motel. I visited the Motel to help a coworker fix their laptop. I was there a few hours. The service I was greeted with was wonderful. Very kind and respectful people. Very comfortable furnishings.
Room is clean, and very comfortable. Basic amenities but everything we need. The lady at the front desk is very sweet and attentive. This is family owned and I can see they work very hard keeping this place comfortable and clean. I will definitely be back!!
There was enough room for all our ski gear. Beds were a little rough. Not bad for an overnight ski trip.

My boyfriend & I vacationed here in February 2013 for a week. We got a great deal by booking our rental in 2012 during a special they were running. DEFINITELY book as soon as you know when you'll be visiting to get a special price. The woman in the office who my boyfriend worked with to book was great, I don't recall her name; but she did get him great deals on all day passes for Killington. It ended...

This review is for the Kent Bistro only. My husband and I have eaten all over Killington through the years and this was (by far) the best meal we have had in the area. We stopped in over the summer, but their kitchen was not open to the public yet. They are now though, and we are SO glad that they are. We had the opportunity to meet their new Food and Beverage Director, Mark Malo, who shared that...
Our families stayed here for our daughter's wedding weekend in nearby Pittsfield. To say it was a gem is an understatement - MML could not have been better! The staff, especially Nicole and Connie, were beyond helpful in every way, making sure we felt at home and going the extra mile. From arrivals to the patio and bonfire and delicious breakfast and help whenever we needed it. The stars and the lake...
A fantastic place to stay! Staff were wonderful and the food was incredible (included breakfast features choice of blueberry pancakes, eggs, ham, sausage, bacon, or home fries, cooked fresh for each guest). Rooms are cozy but very comfortable. Grounds include a nice size lake for boating (kayak, canoe, or paddle boat). We'll definitely be back!
We loved our stay at Mountain Meadows Lodge! It was our first time in Vermont and we are looking forward to being back. Daisy was an incredible hostess! We stayed in the Thundering Brook room and it was really comfortable, especially the bed. Breakfast was great too and the lounge area was relaxing to hang out in. Highly recommend!
Such a lovely place! Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great location near Killington ski area and Pico resort. It was our first time visiting Vermont and won’t be our last. We enjoyed our stay and we missed Daisy, the dog (AKA the facility manager) Daisy was the highlight of our stay.
The place is rustic, perfect for hardened travelers that may be coming off the AT, as well as quaint enough for those looking for a nice cozy stay. Staff was impressively caring and helpful, food was delicious.

It says no alcohol in the hot tub, but they gave us a cooler and ice to use. Be nice to the girl at the front counter!
The lady who runs the hot tub place is a sweetheart! Befriend her, and don't bring glass in the tub. Also, they need to reinforce the wood benches in the sauna. Some frat boy messed them up good.

Such a lovely and amazing experience! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was exactly what we wanted for a nice winter ski trip! Great breakfast, wonderful hosts, cozy rooms, and overall just a welcoming stay! I know exactly where I will be staying on my next Killington trip!
The Snowed Inn is a must stay, it is in a perfect location for skiing around Vermont and exploring local towns. We absolutely loved it here and had an amazing stay! Everyone, especially Ken and Carolyn, were so nice and the inn felt so homey, cozy, and charming. The room was very clean. We loved relaxing sitting by the freplace after our day skiing. The breakfasts were yummy as well. Thank you...
Cannot wait to go back to Snowed Inn! The location was so convenient for skiing at the mountain and also nightlife. There is a free shuttle at the bottom of the driveway that brings you to the mountain and also elsewhere on Killington Road. The staff was so incredibly helpful - especially with our late-night arrival (they laid out keys & directions for us to pick up). We enjoyed the daily breakfast...
During our recent getaway, my husband and I found a gem in the Snowed Inn! From the get-go, we were greeted with warm smiles, especially from Ken and Carolyn, who gave us the lowdown on all the best spots to explore. The rooms were like a cozy cocoon, so clean and comfy we felt right at home. And oh, the breakfasts—absolutely scrumptious, served with love by the talented kitchen crew. We couldn't get...
We unreservedly recommend Snowed Inn without hesitation! We had such a relaxed visit that started with meeting our hosts Ken and Carolyn and we immediately felt at home. It really felt like an upscale B&B with the recent remodel, all day coffee/tea bar and fresh cookies in the evening. Our room was very comfortable with clear instructions on how to enjoy all the amenities. The breakfast was refreshingly...

I stayed in April 2002. At the time the owner Paul (nicked papa bear) was very helpful. Till I rented my own car he used to pick and drop us from Killington ski resort. I have good memories of my stay there.
I called same day they, and accomidated me. Under $100 just me for 1 night i was working out here and there was a storm figured safer to stay the night then go back home tomorrow after my work day. Clean, comfy, front desk was very personable .
Cute little motel with few rooms but perfect for a weekend getaway for small families. Great hosts, good breakfast and nice room with all facilities.... Would go back!!
I mean... It's cheap. Everything is cheap in it. But if you come to Killington to ski/snowboard, why do you care? It covers all basic needs (it's warm, it has basic amenities and even breakfast) and it's very close to a couple of restaurants and a convenience store. We've stayed there at least 3 times. Every time we think that next time we'll stay somewhere better, but then we compare prices... Happy...
The Happy Bear provided a much needed respite for me and my bestie on New Year's Day. After hours of tumultuous conflict, the staff at the Happy Bear made us feel welcome, warm, and comfortable. While it's not the Ritz-Carlton, it's a conveniently located, affordably priced, and worth a return trip. Thanks!

Cozy little hotel on Killington Road. Owner is very friendly. Free breakfast in the morning. Yes it is not a 5 star hotel, but at this price, with breakfast, AND it's proximity to the mountain, it's great. The breakfast is really a godsend, for people in hotels (with no kitchens) breakfast can be a pain around here, especially with large groups. It really makes mornings before skiing quick and convenient
We've been staying at Butternut for years and Jim and his friendly staff always exceed expectations! Rooms here are rustic and cozy, and everything is clean and well-maintained. They have a nice bar/sitting area in the lobby perfect for some board/card games, stretching your legs a bit in the evening, or a little pregaming before you head to the bars elsewhere on the access road. (you can easily...
Had a wonderful stay at the Butternut Inn! The rooms are nothing fancy, but are nice a comfortable for up to 4 people (most likely skiiers). But the breakfast was amazing! Important note, the water out of the taps is soft water, and very hard to drink. If you want normal hard water to drink, there is a water container in the dining area you can fill your water bottle up at. Was a life saver.
First off the breakfast here is really good! The best breakfast included I have ever had at an inn, hotel, or what have you. My wife and I spent four nights here while skiing killington. The room was fine as our base of operation to sleep shower and change. If you are like us and only are looking for a home base this is wonderful. If you want a spa, pool, and other amenities look elsewhere. Jim, the...
Great place - friendly and helpful host went out of his way to make our stay easy and enjoyable. Breakfasts are great, especially the pancakes. The location is really good, a 5-minute drive (or free shuttle ride) from the slopes. The rooms are not luxurious, but are clean and comfortable, which is what is needed on a ski trip. The price is surprisingly reasonable - very good value for what you get...

It reminded us of younger days when we would go skiing in the mountains. Definitely furnished for skiers.
We stayed here based on the positive reviews and the breakfast offered! Cozy Inn and had such charm! Beds were comfortable and the place was well maintained. Would definitely stay here again!
We came during the foliage season, many hotels around are fully booked and left us no choice but to book this 2* inn, It turned out a very happy experience. The room is big, the staff, everyone, is friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is acceptable with many choices, though the space is little. Overall, we had a very good rest here.
We waited to find a place to stay and come cross this lovely Inn. The decor and atmosphere was warm and cozy. Lots of local touches to admire, it has a gift too. The beds slept well and staff were friendly. We had a wonderful conversation with a few the guest and staff. We will come again.
We stayed there for 2 nights. This place is very well decorated in a Victorian theme. The room was clean, bed was very comfortable. Steve which i think is the owner is very attentive to his guests. They serve simple breakfast in the dining area. Very comfortable cozy place. We will definitely stay there again.
This is our "go-to" stay while in Killington and have been there in the past. We love it and the breakfast items are a genuine treat. There's a beautiful trail with a clear stream behind the hotel. Couldn't ask for anything more. We will stay again.

It was cozy and the staff were amazing!! The breakfast is great and such friendly service! Great location close to everything. Will definitely be back!
The best of a rustic lodge next to The Long Trail. Expect to meet very interesting people. Hikers stop here to clean up and enjoy an authentic Irish Pub and Irish Fare on the menu. You may have a pint of Guinness or Killian. Numerous Irish whiskeys from which to choose. Two dart boards, no waiting. Bob's a good man. He'll make sure you get the best meal and libations.
I love this place. I hiked the Long Trail over 20 years ago and stopped here as a through-hiker for breakfast and to take a shower & rest, so it was so nice to visit this place again! We stayed for the whole weekend and I was so happy to discover when making the reservations, that they have dog friendly accommodations in their suites! We had a one bedroom suite and it was lovely. In the main Inn building...
Stayed here in June 2022 when I was hiking in the area. Room was so comfortable and clean, rate was so reasonable and included the most awesome breakfast in the morning. The restaurant and attached pub were perfect and the Shepards pie was amazing. I really enjoyed this place and talking to all the LT and AT thru hikers and someday when I hike the LT I will definitely be back. Hands down will stay...
I wish I could give 4.5 stars, as this inn was close to perfect. The pub and live music was great, the breakfast was amazing, and the decor is rustic and quaint. Some minor nitpicks though: the wifi didn't reach my room, and there was a hair in my French toast. The latter isn't really a big deal for me, but it might freak some people (namely those who haven't been in the woods for the last week)...
Cosy hotel / B&B with a restoran and bar. Has large common area with fire place, indoor hot tub. Food is excellent, both breakfast (included) and dinner. Live Irish music in the bar on weekends. Prices are very reasonable. Close to ski area.

Spacious room- seemed newly renovated, spotlessly clean, large comfy bed, fluffy towels. Nice lighting and furniture. Breakfast nook was good- cereals, bagels, yoghurt and coffee. Also enjoyed dinner and drinks at the tavern just next door (no driving needed!). Also 10 mins drive to Killington and easy reach to the ski area. Hope to come back!
Wife and I needed a room last minute to extend our stay for some fresh snow. Great location and friendliest staff. Called us ahead of time to make sure we had a table for dinner at the tavern. Not to mention they let our two goldens stay as well. Will def visit again next time we are up north.
We had an upstairs room that looked out over the tavern and grassy area. Unfortunately, the tavern was closed when we visited, so we found somewhere else to eat. Friendly staff and nice breakfast area.
First time I let a review during my stay. Dont need a long review. Everything is PERFECT ! The office welcome us like if we was at home. Bedroom : super clean!! Bed : king size. Place : chill, best for rest. You have a bar close to the hotel so also perfect if you want to have a drink or/and eat. I didn't stay there but my daughter and son in law had their wedding after party there. They helped me offer a very special surprise! So grateful.
This place is a total gem! I just booked it because it was in the right area, it was available and it was the right price. We were just passing through and needed a place to stay. I would come back here again in a heartbeat! I received an email a little bit before check in that the room code to open our door where the last four digits of my phone number. This is a great idea! It made it so easy to...
