I only ate breakfast here. The breakfast was ok, but not as good as similar hotel breakfasts I've had. There was not a great variety of food. Clean rooms, great view of the beach. Better than average breakfast and an indoor pool for when it is too cold outside. Tip: If you get a ground floor room on the beach side, your patio is walk out to the beach. This makes for a fun night of late dips in the water. Stayed here Sunday and Monday nights 7/23-24 and it was wonderful! Clean and fresh, a welcome sight in Mackinaw. We used to stay in the Choice hotels but they've become run down, and the place on the main shopping street isn't nice anymore either. This place will be our go-to when in Mackinaw. Close to the SHeplers ferry parking lot, and well within walking distance of everything.

Decent little cabins. We were here in the off season (~mid September) and found them a good value for their price. Our 2 bedroom cabin only had a window unit in the joining living room. Was fine the first night but it got warm in my room on the second. If staying here in the summer I would recommend bringing a box fan to circulate air and sleep with the bedroom doors open.

Not gonna lie, I was a little nervous pulling up. It was 1am and the place looked a little shady. When we opened the door I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't stinky and it looked decent. My bed was comfy, plenty of blankets, and comfy pillows. No bed bugs either! Few cosmetic things in our room but hey you want a cheap room you gotta expect a few things to no be up to par.

We stayed one night here on our way to another location. I recommend upgrading (if available) to 2nd floor lake view with a balcony. Staff was so friendly. Room was so clean! When you walk in you could smell the cleanliness. The room was nicely furnished with cedar log furniture. There were a few things to be aware of though. Room was OK. But Breakfast was very limited, Can't say it was breakfast even. Hair Dryer was not in working condition and plug holder were just like one or two. Otherwise everything was pretty OK.

The pool is not well cleaned. So much sand at the bottom. The room floors are slimy like the cleaner isn't getting cleaned up well. The staff was very friendly and over all we were satisfied but those things cld use work.

We were in a triple bed room. The cleaning staff need to take more care when cleaning. There was one of the long clothing size stickers stuck on the wall above the headboard. There were spots of something on the wall. Corners in the bathroom had a build up of crud. This is an older hotel that needs upgrading to add outlets in the room. The manager of the property was great. It really felt like he went out of his way to accommodate us, but it’s probably just his normal great service. We loved our cabin and the location so much we booked again for another trip we’re taking in a few weeks.

This place is awesome! Martin the manager is fantastic. He really cares about your stay. If there’s vacancies he’ll let you look at the cabins before you pick one. They are all really nice. The beach is much nicer than the beach up by all the hotels near the ferry. I’ve stayed in many places in Mackinac city and this is the best place. The rates are very reasonable considering what you’re getting....

We stayed there this past weekend and it was one of the best weekends ever! Martin the manager is amazing and a very nice guy! The cabin was very nice. The pool was nice too. The beach is awesome!! And everyone was very friendly. My dog even loved it!! We are definitely going back!!

Our stay was amazing, Martin, the manager was superior. He gave us an upgrade for little to next to nothing monetary. The veiw was beautiful, beach was sandy, fire on the beach amazing. Stayed in a lakefront cottage and was very happy with the place. So peaceful, so beautiful. Not a ton of service, but that's not what you stay there for. The value, the views of Lake Huron and the Mackinac Bridge.

First time staying here. I enjoyed it. I believe it's one of the last real cottages in the city. It is not modern by any means so do not stay here if anyone in your party is has high standards. They are old and simple cabins. I would stay again.

I thought the staff was very friendly. Stayed here after staying the previous night at a different motel in town. The room was nice and clean and comfortable. Parking was easy and had easy access to room which was on the 2nd floor (stayed in late August). Would definitely stay here again.
