The bar area was very nice with a great selection and great conversation. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, particularly for a family with two small children. One of the staff members gave both of my boys stickers, which was very sweet. The room was nice, and the shower was very hot.

The service here is amazing!! Very friendly staff and accommodating. The bar is my favorite place Paula, Erin, Jim and Jeff best bartenders. Restaurant steak is amazing no sauce required very delicious 🤤. They gym has everything you need and is well maintained. In the morning get yourself a coffee or grab breakfast the staff there brightens up your day first thing in the morning.

Chefs Brian and Richard did an awesome job on my meals while there. And my bartenders, heavy stress on MY BARTENDERS. We amazing. Thank you Erin and Paula for making my bar time there great.

Rooms most definitely need upgrading. However, it was clean. 2 employees I'd like to give recognition to is ROCHELLE at the front desk. She has a charming personality. We had a great experience here. Bedroom and bathroom was squeaky clean. The hot breakfast was a good portion of food before we hit the road again. Staff was very friendly and helpful especially Jordan at the front desk. This is our preferred hotel when he have to stay in Macon. It's close to so many restaurants and the interstate. The food is good and the drinks are good if you wander down to the bar. Clean, roomy, and friendly! We've stayed here multiple times passing through and our experiences are always consistently great. Staff is friendly, rooms are spacious (important for our large family), there's a nice pool, and breakfast is very good. We'd recommend this location to anyone and will definitely be back again.

We stayed for a total of four days. They were so accommodating and friendly. The only issue we had was our room had a leaking toilet, but once we let them know they immediately got us a new room. The hotel is very nice and our rooms were cleaned spotless. This location was great, will be staying here again!

Clean, big room, good breakfast, appreciated the trundle bed for our family of 5, that was a neat concept I haven’t seen before. Our room had 2 bathrooms, one with toilet and sink and one with shower and sink, perfect for a big family. We spent 1 night here and the room was very cozy. The front desk attendant was kind, however my only complaint would be the service at the breakfast counter. She was rude and impatient, not even letting us finish our order. Not only that, but after telling her we did not want it charged to the room, she charged it to our room anyways. Judging from the elevator this is an older hotel that has recently been renovated. My room was comfortable and clean. Best feature is the shower, great water pressure. Down side was that the walls/floor seemed a bit thin. Could hear our neighbors’ movements a bit more than I would have liked.

Randomly stayed here on the way from Savannah to Atlanta to stop and watch a Braves playoff game. If you can get it for less than $100 per night it's a great place to crash. Pros: Very clean. They accommodated us and our pets during hurricane Ian. We are from St. Petersburg and luckily we were able to go home today. Everyone was very nice and hospitable. even though they are short staffed and the breakfast and coffee were great. I hope I do not have to evacuate Florida again but If I do I would go back. The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Being just off the I interstate, it's easy to find. Check-in was a breeze and when I had to change the length of my stay, the front desk easily accommodated my request. The only strange thing is that my wife found that someone had used her hairbrush while we were out of the room and the hair color suspiciously matched that of one of the cleaning staff.

Best hotel in the area, from my perspective. Outstanding staff, great rooms, and a good breakfast bar. The outdoor area is the main attraction. High end grills, marble counters, plenty of tables. The highlight is the large outdoor fire pit and chairs. It's a great spot to spend a spring evening. Plus, it is next to a great pub, and across the street from the Mercer University sports complex.

I was actually pretty impress. I always stay in hotels because of work and this place was very clean and cozy. The staff's attention to detail was second to none. Free Wi-Fi and the smart TV had plenty of options. The breakfast wasn't anything special but it's what most hotels serve so it's not a deal breaker IMO.

Had a good stay in Macon we try and find Homewood suites wherever we go. We like the kitchenette’s and separate bedroom. The breakfasts are ok, scrambled eggs with cheese, sausage links and cereals and breads. This location has a very comfortable pool area. I recommend this location.

Stayed here Sunday evening, 9/3/17. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The towels were thick and soft. The breakfast was great with lots of variety. The coffee was very good. The location is awesome. The staff was courteous. The stay was not pleasurable because another guest allowed their kid to bounce off of furniture, jumping around late into the night making so much noise we couldn't sleep. Then the child was up before dawn making noises again.we checked out early.

This is a wonderful hotel right off the highway but yet down a private drive and very quiet. There are several hotels on this street with many options to dine. Motel seems to be at the end of its Marriott Fairfield Inn lifeline. It’s the worst Farfield I have stayed with in 20 years.

Didn't like the attitude of the manager. When I questioned a charge that was higher than my online charge, the manager told me that it was for incidentals. I told her that it wasn't acceptable to charge me for something before I checked in & used that item. She stated that all the hotels did that. One of my new favorite places to stay! If you are on the road a lot as myself and my husband are Candlewood feels just a little more like home. With a 2 burner cook top, full sized fridge, lots of amenities like a lending closet for commonly needed items, a great little store for easy fast convenient foods, a business center, fitness center, laundry etc. I will be staying there again.

Room was clean. It is noisy, I could hear the cars and trucks on the road. Breakfast closed at 9am. Wi-Fi didn’t work. I asked the front desk about it and they told me they are aware they have an issue with iPhones and they don’t know how to fix it.

A nice value. The room was very nice and breakfast was good. The lobby was a bit of a mess with old mattresses everywhere and attention to the room was pretty much just fresh towels, no clean cups or more coffee for the machine.

We stayed in room 101. It was a king size and really clean. Staff was nice. It was also surprisingly furnished for an economy room.

Great staff was friendly and helpful. Room was well-appointed and clean, breakfast was just okay. Only spent a night here on the way to Florida. Would stop again.

The front desk worker was super nice and helpful. The lady went out of her way for me. Plus, her helpfulness was very much appreciated. Breakfast is yogurt, cereal, muffin/donuts (sometimes donuts) plus a waffle maker. There were some granola bars when I was here. Milk, juice and coffee. The pool is covered up and shut down. I don't really give any five star reviews but this hotel is an exceptional value. Granted this is a cheaper hotel do not expect room service and etc... Extremely clean. Although it is not in the greatest neighborhoods judging by the surrounding hotels the management is actively perusing the property. One of the cleaner hotels that I have ever been to. I probably stayed in hotels in about 30 States...

No issues for a quick stay. Probably the best $60 room I’ve had. Rooms clean, no smells, comfy beds and clean and fresh linens. Shower was even nice. Not a Hampton, but it’s half the price. My only gripe was the sparse breakfast and terrible coffee. Nothing a $5 trip to McDonald’s can’t fix. If you’re just passing through, it’s hard to do better for the money.

Avoid! This place is dirty, bug infested, smells like cigarettes and urine. Horrible experience. Lobby was locked and no one there when we arrived.

I stayed October 2016. Came in late at night on our long drive to Tampa for a short break. The front desk clerk was a younger girl and she was quite rude. I believe she had her boyfriend in the establishment with her.. I don't think that would be approved with management. They had never told us we needed a couple different articles of paperwork to stay so we didn't have anything we needed. Although...
