Just a great eclectic spot just a few steps from state street. The bed was so comfortable and rooms were clean. Jayde running the valet was sweet and efficient. The coffee and breakfast sandwich in the cafe were excellent as well. This hotel does not disappoint

The room was cozy and beautiful with a very comfortable bed, amenities that suited all my needs and kind staff! For breakfast they had a la carte options at a little cafe in their lobby that was convenient and tasty.
We also booked the upper restaurant for a film shoot and Matthew and his staff made it so flawlessly easy and even set up a drink station and catered to every need we had. Would HIGHLY recommend staying here.

Since it is so close to the city center with lots of restaurants and housing a lot of college students were parking there to run and snag their food orders. BUT Valet was amazing and very reasonably priced at $34 for overnight parking till 4PM the next day.

The hotel, run by caring students who are learning the trade, is lovely, clean and conveniently located within walking distance of campus, as well as nice restaurants.
We had a special request and a staff member called Oliver went over and above to assist us, with a terrific attitude and a clear understanding of the concept of true hospitality. I predict Oliver will have a very successful career in hospitality in the future!

Very cool location - walking distance from almost everything you could want to do on campus. Lots of personality at the hotel - fun details everywhere. Staff is very friendly and accommodating - from the check-in counter, to the Poindexter staff to the very friendly and efficient valet.

This hotel is really cute from the lobby and it is in a great location. We walked everywhere we needed to go. The room had some cute details but it is clearly an older hotel that was dressed up without addressing older structural issues. I expected more/better for the price we paid in Madison WI.

I love this hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location next to State Street and just two block for the UW campus is very convenient. The restaurant/bar on the top floor is great for a quick meal or just to sit and relax with friends. I have stayed here several times and have always been happy with my stay.

I love the rooftop bar! Great atmosphere that is casual and fun. Games available to play and the rooftop patio is well protected. You can't beat the location. I have stayed here twice and had great service both times and I have visited as a non guest as well and still received great service. I would give this rating a 5 star rating if they improved the wine options. Wine is served in a can (with glass provided) and just isn't very good. Beer options are good however. Overall, this is a must stop if you're in the area. Decor is awesome.

The Graduate Madison is not just a hotel, it's an experience. Stepping inside is like walking into a Wes Anderson movie complete with insane eye candy, awesome staff, great coffee and a summer camp inspired rooftop restaurant that you will never want to leave. The location couldn't be better either. It's located right in the heart of campus, just a tiny stroll to shopping, the lakefront, and great local hang outs. Although, I have to be honest, we spent the majority of our time in the Graduate taking in all all its glory, drinking adult capri suns, playing board games by the fire pit and drinking in the view!!

The rooftop bar of the Graduate hotel is one of the best bars in downtown Madison. The staff is charismatic, especially the tall bartender, and the drinks are perfectly made every time. In addition, the campy feel is perfectly captured by the decor. 11/10

The location was perfect--especially for a -20 degree night! The staff was super friendly and very accommodating! One of the staff even helped us jump our car the next morning ???
I will mention, the room was quite cold (thermometer read in the 40's) when we first got there, but we ended up going out on State Street and letting it warm up while gone.
