The room smelled bad good think goodness I brought my Oder band. No hot water at all. The shampoo was opened setting in the bath mat. Holes in the pillowcases. Want be coming back!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
Flying J and Loves is much better than staying at Texas Inn Downtown McAllen.
You will be much more comfortable sleeping in the front set of your car than here. And the Truck stops have HOT water. Texas inn downtown does not have Hot Water or WIFI!!!
So if you like to shower in hot water and use WIFI stay at a Truck Stop before you stay at Texas Inn Downtown McAllen, TX.
The front desk help sucks and not in a good way. You may have to kick the syringes out of your way in the parking lot. And the local Methhead only asks for money in the evenings and very early in the mornings.
Good luck with your travels and once again Flying J and Loves trucks stops before Texas Inn Downtown McAllen Texas!!!!!

Do not go here. Just don't. No refund even if you run disgusted from your "almost cleaned room". Huge holes, unidentified stains on bedding. Hell no I won't try another room. You want to insist that my dog is $5 extra after I paid upfront, fine, but I would like to insist on not wanting to throw up at the place I booked for me,, two kids,, and a very nice dog..

It was hard finding a hotel last minute, due to a family personal matter, but they were very polite, very affordable prices, and the room we were in was not only clean, they had clean sheets!!! It smelled really nice, I really loved it.

There IS hot water!! Just gotta wait like 5-10 minutes lol
The good things: This is a place for a night or two, and for the price don't expect much! TV worked, water worked and the bed sheets were clean! Very spacious room as well!
The bad: The window blinds were dirty, jacuzzi tub didn't even work, some corners of the walls were broken/rotten? And the worst was that there were many mosquitoes!! Everywhere I went I killed one.
