Tiki Lodge

This hotel felt cheaper than it cost. I was safe for the night and the beds were comfy enough but it was hot (it's July) because they didn't have any air on before I got there and the walls had dirt stains, graffiti in the restroom, the toilet seat was dated and broken, there were deodorant label stickers stuck to the mirror and wall. The area had people walking around at night coming out of the fences but the bed was mostly comfortable and no one bothered me

When I first got there I thought it was alright for the cheap price. I arrived at 3pm and stayed till 1:40am before realizing that the bed was infested with a terrifying number of bed bugs. I quickly packed my things and went to the staff to check out and inform them of the bed bugs. When I brought it up I was accused of lying despite having proof and was told that there were no complaints allowed. If the large number of bed bugs and poor staff wasn’t enough of a warning, the parking lot was full of sketchy unwanted people.

AAA had the listing on their website, my mistake for relying upon AAA in searching for a hotel. This place is a total dump. Broken light and fan in the bathroom, a previous guest's hair in the shower, the bath mat had dirty streaks from the previous guest, missing screws in the unit, and the bathroom faucet barely worked. The vinyl floor was so dirty I wore my socks rather than go barefoot. There was someone who played loud music ALL NIGHT long. Perhaps it was the same person but there was someone pounding nails (like with a hammer) almost all night. When I went to check out I tried to bring up the noise issue to the manager but he didn't even bother to look up from his voice call. The location is terrible, it is not close to I-5.

Pro:
Close proximity to the airport.

Cons:
The room was disgusting, it had food on the wall, the microwave didn't have the glass plate in it, the lamp had no knob to turn it on (and when my husband said something about the light not working, the manager said to turn the knob... Umm, there is NO knob), knobs on the dresser were missing, someone drew on the wall, cracks all over the floor, no chain on the door, crack in the sink, huge hole in the blanket, my husband squished bugs (not sure what they were) and there was NO TOILET PAPER in the bathroom.

When my husband and I finished checking in, around 5 guys came out of their room and watched everything we did (it was around 11:30pm) it was really uncomfortable. Then when we seen all that was wrong with the room, we checked out after being there maybe 5 minutes and drove all the way to Roseburg.

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU ARE SINGLE OR YOUNG CHILDREN.

The sheets looked clean enough on the bed, it was a good place to crash between 12 hour driving days. I tried not to touch anything else.
The worker was unfriendly at best with us when we checked in. The furniture was stained, walls were really dirty, cigarette burns on the carpet and toilet seat, toilet sprayed some water out the back when it was flushed and the tank had issues refilling…paint was scuffed around the bed, cobwebs in the corner- as well as someone’s empty water bottles that had been left behind. Overall the place was old and didn’t seem well taken care of.

dont do it - place is a dump. as soon as i go in for check in a homeless man walks up to me and keeps his distance but just stares. the reception guy keeps the door locked while hes watching tv inside his office so you gotta ring the bell to go in (it was 4 pm). the room looks like jt was from the 80s or something and is very outdated. carpet looks gross toilet is gross no soap or towels provided no sound insulation and you will hear everything through paper thin walls. the sink is also awful and was dirty. shower looked disgusting so i didnt bother using it
at 2 am i could hear the room next to me talking clearly, at 5 am i was woke up by some thumping sound. at 8 am i found out the thumping was the room below me going at it very rough because i heard the womans screams very clearly from the bathroom
for the price go to motel 6 at least they actually have towels and soap. i feel very ripped off
