The room was very Clean,Staff was knowledgeable . Everything was just step away being downtown Mobile. Had a few Classmates in Hotel for Class Reunion . We were able to talk in lobby after events were over.. We plan to stay here again next year. Oh the views of the water from the window awesome. Always love staying here. The restaurant is excellent for a hotel. Bar is fun, love the live music selections in the evenings. Conveniently located. Valet is easy. The downtown Mobile location was perfect, but there were a couple conventions in town, and my room was facing the street, so it was rather loud, rather late. Not the fault of the hotel! Housekeeping was fantastic, parking is $16/day. Front desk staff was excellent, especially Madison.

Very nice rooms. Comfortable bed. We were a week-long stay. The room service visited frequently to ask if we needed anything. A nice thing in these COVID times. Great bar. Overall, a very place to stay. Rooms are well laid out and comfortable. However, it is only a pleasant experience when the room next to yours is empty. The pass through doors don't block anything but your ability to see into the adjoining room. You will hear your neighbor brush their teeth. You will hear their alarm. You. Will. Hear. Everything.

The exterior and lobby were nice and the room appeared to be well-kept, but the bathroom was dirty. I found hair in several places and the tub didn’t seem very clean. The food at the hotel restaurant was also rather flavorless.

Even though there is a beautiful lobby, the restaurant/bar is very nice, and the room is very comfortable and clean, the hallways and elevator leave something to be desired. On a business trip. Traveled with a coworker. Very nice looking inside and out. Stairs at ground level. There are two lifts accessible to the the main lobby. Two elevators in lobby to go to the room levels. The welcome crew was very friendly and helpful, as well as the housekeeping.

Wonderful hotel. Room was spacious. The balcony was a nice surprise. The kids loved sitting out on it. Very clean rooms and the pull out bed was very comfortable! They didn't have enough waffle makers for the amount of people that were at breakfast. It was a long line for that. Breakfast was good though.

Drury inns continue to be our go to. Very consistent, very reliable. Especially for pet owners. This location was clean, quiet, felt safe, and a solid breakfast. The front man was very nice too. Always love a smooth check in. We did get a knock from house keeping at 9am though which was unusual and not great.

Managers and staff very professional, yet cordial. Hotel is very clean , well maintained. Daily "kick back" with complimentary drinks (3 max per person) and various happy hour food choices is a great added feature. I would seek out the other 150 locations nationwide throughout the country before going anywhere else.

Amazing customer service! The best breakfast I've seen at any hotel and the dinner is amazing too, yes I said dinner! They serve dinner with drinks. This is currently under renovation, but the hotel has absolutely amazing service. Lavonne at the front desk was always accomodating and always ensured myself and my Soldiers were constantly taken care of. The rooms were spacious, the lobby was a great place to work from, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend staying here for vacation or business.

This location also did not have free breakfast but an expensive one, so we went to Waffle House instead. Loved it. The beds are like marshmallows, they always have fluffy pillows, clean decor. Odd that wifi wasnt free, and zero truck parking. Other than that, it was a relaxing stay.

Nice property. However, I can't believe how a great brand like HGI has such a poorly organized and staffed breakfast at this location. The breakfast buffet is NOT a buffet. You can't help yourself like at most properties. Extremely poor service here. The Chef did her best to scramble up a hot meal. Thanks to her, I'll consider returning.

Its a wow in a sea of mediocrity. Not fancy just ideal. Kitchen, fridge, utensils, nice enough linen, bathroom with towels that are not thin and body wash in the shower. Clean hotel, that’s always top on my review. The lobby has a nice design, workers are nice, and the room was clean and a nice size. Quiet location, conveniently located. I usually stay at the bigger Marriotts with restaurants so this was a little different but I was happy. I stayed here due to having eye surgery with Dr Walton across the street. Last minute reservation. They had a room with a king size bed available. Great price. Comfortable bed. Room was very clean! Parking spot right in front of our room. Very spacious room, recently renovated and very impressive. Beds were comfortable, nice clean sheets & soft pillows. Great hot breakfast with waffle maker. The dining area was rather small for the number of people trying to have breakfast. Excellent value.

This was the best choice for a hotel for our family. The staff was OVER THE TOP friendly, the manager went out of her way for us at the pool. The night staff hunted down a pack n play for our 2 year old!! It was a great night spent. The breakfast was also great, lots of variety, and even hot food!

Moderately nice hotel for moderately low price! Nothing wrong at all. Continental breakfast was a little lacking but amenities were in good shape (especially outlets) and staff was fantastically welcoming.

This hotel is in an ideal location with good size rooms and kitchen facilities. They have a recycling area too which matches their approach to being environmentally friendly. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The carpet in the room had a lot of stains, but amazingly the room smelled fresh. The room has a full kitchen with appliances and cutlery. The customer service was great. All and all we had a pleasant stay. Thanks Candlewood.

We stayed from July 23/25 it was so amazing! Maria the Manager on duty was the first we saw she was so friendly and sweet she helped get us rooms right away and placed together this alone gave us peace of mind with a newborn baby then the staff all amazing with smiles and pleasant greetings! I was going down to wash and ran into a hskp at about 9pm and she was so happy asked if we needed anything that...

I didn't have a clue about this Suite, but I was blown away when I arrived to see how it looked in comparison with some others. And the room was nice, clean and spacious. We had a nice window view of downtown, just in the mist of everything. In fact we walked to all the local locations. Customer service was good. I would stay again.

Nice place to stay in downtown. Fun walking the area today. Lots of neat, but old buildings to see. Good area to ditch the car and walk for a while.

Everything was at it supposed to be. This was a stop on the route from Houston to Miami. Nothing else to say.

Great and very helpful front desk on check-in, room and amenities were excellent and 15 minutes from Robert Trent Jones Magnolia Golf Course and 5 very good restaurants within 10 minutes

Great hotel. The rooms are clean. The staff is friendly. There is a 24 hour airport shuttle that will take you to the airport anytime you need it, no scheduling. I stay here quite a bit and am never disappointed.

Staff and hotel are excellent. All staff was very friendly and helpful. Room exceeded expectations for an "'older" hotel - everything down to linens were updated, current and very nice. Breakfast was the best I have seen anywhere. Very clean and fresh.

Love the location. Close to stores and various eateries. Beds were very comfortable. Everything was clean and bless the Lord oh my soul it was QUIET! Nice buffet breakfast also. Staff members were extremely welcoming and personable. I would definitely recommend and plan to stay here again when I'm in town.

I arrived in to the airport late so the rental car desk was closed and I had planned to stay here at the Hampton and grab my car in the morning. I called the hotel as I was walking through the terminal. The front desk lady was very pleasant, helpful and explained where I needed to be for the shuttle. The shuttle arrived promptly and the driver was also very friendly and helpful. This theme continued...
