Alvey at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly and she is a great representative for this hotel .rooms outdated but was very clean and our room had a fire place and a deck looking out over the cute and quaint town and the huge Morrow rock . Thanks for a great night in your establishment.

We stayed 3 nights here in the mini suite. Nice big room with all we needed (old furniture though) . Great location for walking everywhere, along wharf or downtown. Not much of a continental breakfast but staff was great. Nice view of Morro Rock. Would stay here again. We love Morro Bay!

My wife and I haven't been here since before the pandemic. At the last minute we decided to check it out. I didn't get the lady's name but she was very accommodating to what we wanted and we had a great time staying there for our anniversary. Thank you so much.

I wish there could be a 4.5 rating option. The place is old. The units we were in were across the street from the main motel, with an excellent view of parking lots. But, the room was fine Beds and pillows perfectly comfortable. The bathtub is not fiberglass, it's real, but shallow. Lisa, the day manager, is totally welcoming and delightful. Our room was large and clean. The hotel was walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and maritime museum. Included was a light continental breakfast. Desk staff were very helpful and friendly.

Stayed 3nights booked online with no hassle. Very affordable, friendly and clean. Just feet from morro rock and entertainment. Easy access to everything on foot. If your goal is to find a nice comfortable place within walking distance, this is it. We spent all 3days exploring so the location was perfect. Will definitely book again.

Room was good. Refrigerator was not enclosed so it made some noise. Walls kinda thin so we had to sleep with the fan on. Lobby looked nice but had some funky smell. Great location.

Good price but it's dated. A very thin blanket with no extra blankets. Firm bed. But it's close to the embarcadero and you can see Morro Rock from the street. It has a refrigerator and microwave and a small coffee machine.

We had our house fumigated and stayed here twice. Shane is great! very accommodating. Great location. Comfy bed. Definitely recommend for the price!

I was a little worried after reading some reviews for this hotel online, but so far so good. We arrived a few hours ago to a clean, but basic room. The guy at the check in desk was nice. The location is great. Within walking distance of lots of restaurants and shops. This isn't a romantic getaway hotel, but it's perfectly fine for a last minute trip.

We were welcomed with a complimentary bottle of bubbly - unexpected, and exactly what we were looking for. Served up on the balcony, with an excellent view of the bay. That alone made the stay unusual - and good. I'd stay here again. And Morro Bay was more beautiful than I remembered.

We were greeted by John at the front desk and his hospitality and knowledge was second to none. This is a lovely boutique hotel, impeccably clean, well appointed with a fantastic view and delicious food within walking distance. Excellently run compact inn right on the bay I chose this inn as a stopover point on my Vancouver to San Diego bike ride because of its waterfront location. It is a compact hotel complex spread over two floors, wheelchair accessible with a large, spacious elevator. We had a great experience at Estero Inn in Morro Bay. The service was fantastic, especially manager, Carrie, who made us some wonderful breakfast waffles with fresh strawberries. Our room, the Morro Rock suite, had a wonderful view with a small balcony and fire place. Not large, but very clean and comfortable. We loved sitting out on the deck chairs watching the sunset.

Owners were super helpful and incredibly accomodating, really appreciated it after a long day. Great family business that's worth supporting! Great, clean, large rooms with amenities (fridge, TV, microwave)

Nice lady at front office name is Deborah I believe ..not bad location either decent priced was going to have the option of checking in early for a small fee nice place !

Everything was clean, tidy & well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Overall if you're looking for a quiet, comfortable place to stay in SLO, this place is great.

Comfortable room w decent AC and wifi. Downside was being directly on Monterrey meant you hear the street traffic early in the morning. Good for 1 night while dropping off students at Cal Poly.

Friendly staff, convenient location. Like others mention, it’s dark in the room and the carpet is worn, but the bed was comfortable and clean. Basic amenities. Don’t expect fancy for the price, but if you only need a place for a night or two, this will suffice.

Surprisingly nice hotel. Good price for SLO. Although the building is old, the rooms are clean, and the property is kept up well. I would consider staying again the next time I come to town.

Such a wonderful stay! Owner and staff were incredibly welcoming and kind. Location is central. There's on-site parking available. Free linens. $6 laundry. Sourdough pancakes were on point! My only criticism, and I hate criticizing this place, is the mattresses could use updating. :(

Lovely, charming, small-scale hostel. If you like cozy hostels, this is the place to stay. There's a super nice common area with a comfortable couch and chairs and even a piano (if slightly out of tune :-)). The staff is very friendly, and always open for a chat. Overall really cozy place. Nice hang out couches and music instruments. Big kitchen. Nice pancakes that you make yourself in the morning. The rooms are a bit cold and a bit loud. Really nice and informative personal.

I stayed at this hostel for a week and would have stayed longer! It's a special place staffed by people who really care about providing a good experience. The sourdough pancake breakfasts are fantastic, and the location was very convenient to accessing downtown or hiking up Terrace Hill.
